My cats love it
I feed it to my two ragdolls almost every day. Never had any issues and they eat it all up!

My fussy cats love
My Ragdolls are extremely fussy especially my girl, they have converted to this over a expensive wet food. Every meal time is now a exciting time, I’ve saw a few reviews of sickness etc but this has been the opposite for me so I would highly recommend

Cats loved it right away & haven't had any problems with switching to this.

Perfect all round
My two 1 year old tabbies can’t get enough of Applaws dry food. They started on kitten food and have now transitioned to adult food without any issues. We had to buy high-quality food as they both had sensitive tummies in the early days, they took to Applaws straight away and we haven’t looked back since!
They are the healthiest cats I have ever seen with the most incredible silky smooth coats, I think that’s down to the quality of this food.

Cat's coat has strong smell of the dried food
I have always been pleased with Applaws dry cat food. However, recently their coats seem to smell of the food, has any one else been aware of this. My cat's are not being ill or sick in any way.

Avoid
Cats have eaten this for years, now won't touch it. Probably a good thing looking at other reviews. Clearly been a recipe change, and not for the better. They should really inform people when they are making these changes so people don't waste nearly £40 on a bag of food that is no use to anyone.

Well priced grain free dry food
I bought a small bag of this for my foster cat but he wouldn't eat it so I tried it on my own cats. Mini Man loves it and often goes to eat this before his wet food. The negative reviews seem to be for cats who are more sensitive and he isn't so I can't say they aren't wrong but Mini and his bestie Otis seem happy enough with it. I will probably buy again to give them a break from their usual dry Purina One food.

Not sure if the larger bags...
Not sure if the larger bags are manufactured differently. My kitten adjusted properly to this food when I bought 400g bags. We decided to buy the biggest bag (8kg?) and he will either vomit now, or always have diarrhea. Vets have prescribed him white fish, and supplements to settle his stomach now. Really disappointed that this suddenly is an incompatible food for my kitten. Really don’t bother with it.

Vomiting
Cats don’t want to eat this anymore suddenly after eating happily for 2 and a half years. They have vomited several times after eating. I will have to waste a lot of food. Other reviews are the same as mine. I will stop buying.

Cats skin reaction to food?
I switched my cats to this food as I thought it would be a healthier option - not long after two developed nasty itchy skin conditions to the point of scabs and pulling their own hair out - didn’t think it would be the food until after reading these reviews I’m going back to my old brand. Very disappointing when you think you’re paying for a healthier option for your fur kids 😕

Suitable for my cat with sensitive tummy
I must admit I was concerned when I read others reviews, however I honestly can’t say the same about my old moggy. I bought him other grain free dry food, but each one of them causes him to have the runs. Not with Applaws dry. And he likes the chicken one. My other cat likes this one as well and I don’t notice any adverse reactions.

My cat won't stop throwing up
We have had our Maine coon on Applaws dry food ever since he was born and he's always been really healthy up until lately. We are really worried as he throws up a lot after eating now which makes me think he's developed an allergy or has an intollerance to the new stuff, won't be buying again. It's really sad.

Disappointed client - allergic reaction
Not going to write any long story, cat got a very serious allergic reaction that had to use antibiotics on her.

Horrified
My cat has been eating this for 5 years. In the past 6-7 months hes been sick and has developed flaky dry skin. I never thought it would have been because of applaws until I read the reviews!

Horrible vomiting 2 nights after change
My cat was doing perfect on Royal canine and Hills. Both wet and dry.
When I brought Aplaws chicken and salmon dry food. Won’t try wet.
Aplaws he went for it like a madman at first and then proceeded more lightly later.
I got woken up to the sounds of his vomiting this morning, 2 nights after the introduction. I must say it was the only routine change, so it has to be the food.
He made 12 vomits, the first few containing Aplaws food, indigested, and the last two, bloody and more Aplaws.

My cat has scabs all over her
My poor cat has had lots of scabs on her tummy for quite a while now. I have had her to the vet numerous times. They said it's an allergy she has got but we didn't no what's been causing it until my daughter stumbled across these reviews. I certainly think it's been her dried food that has caused all this unnecessary suffering. Needles to say I won't be giving her any more 😿

Caused vomiting and allergic reaction!
We've been using applaws for years but this last batch caused my cat to develop a nasty allergic reaction around the sides of his head as well as regular vomiting. I stopped feeding him his dry food and his symptoms quickly subsided. Having read these reviews it is clear that there's a serious issue with this product. If citrus extract is not good for cats why are they adding it to this product? Absolutely crazy!
