The movement of the laser is boring.
The laser moves in an oval pattern.
My cat lost interest after just a few days and now begs me to play with the "mouse laser" myself. I can do much more with it, like hiding the laser beam behind the door – that drives him crazy.
It's a shame, I thought this toy would make more interesting movements instead of just oval circles.
That's why only 2 stars.

Great idea
My 4 cats absolutely love the laser :) As soon as I even get close to it, they’re all ready and waiting for the dot ^^. And honestly, I don’t think the motor is that loud either.

My cat loves it
My cat has always loved laser pointers but sometimes I'm too tired to stand waving it about for him for hours on end.
This toy randomly whizzes about a laser for quite a while, before it switches itself off (at which point my cat, Percy, meows and I switch it back on again!) It is random enough to keep him interested, and bright enough for him to see. It is a brilliant toy and I would recommend it to anyone with an easily bored cat.

Good toy!
I bought this for my two indoor cats because when you come home in the evening, you're just too exhausted and don't feel like playing extensively anymore. As a human, you're already out of breath, but the two of them could keep going for hours.
As soon as I unpacked it and put the batteries in, both of them were immediately fixated on it!
It was wonderfully received, and they only need to hear the sound of the laser to come running and enjoy 15 minutes of entertainment.
The noise level of the device is roughly equivalent to an active printer. It neither scares the cats nor is it particularly bothersome.
The only downside is that it requires 4 batteries, which can get quite expensive over time.

Unfortunately, not suitable for our indoor cats.
We have 2 cats, 7 months and 11 years old. The device is loud and more interesting in itself than the laser. Additionally, the mirror cannot be locked into different positions, so returning it is the only option. Such a shame, because the idea itself is brilliant.

Simply brilliant
Since today, we are proud owners of Bolt, and I have to say, my Maine Coon and my Norwegian Forest Cat absolutely love it. Especially at this time of year, it’s a fantastic way to keep my kitties entertained.

The best toy ever!

Not so great
Unpacked, set it up, the cats heard the motor and that was it. Packed it back up and sent it back... Even if I have to operate it manually, the little mouse with the laser is better because I can tire the cats out more effectively than with this device.

15 minutes of heavenly peace...
I have a very active and clingy Siamese cat, and when I turn this device on, she can keep herself entertained for 15 minutes! Brilliant!

Excellent
My cats love this, one sits and watches the other go mad chasing the laser around. I feel like the timer goes on a little too long, sometimes they are falling asleep and the beam is still whizzing around them!

The saviour of my sanity
I have a terribly active Siamese mix lady who wants to be entertained by me all day long... If I don’t comply, she loudly complains and causes chaos! I turn on this laser and get 15 minutes to myself, and if there’s a treat afterwards, she’s actually content for quite a while! I love this toy just as much as my cat does. :D

Pretty Good
Overall a good buy. It is noisy & the base can draw more attention than the beam sometimes but when the beam has her attention it works brilliantly. We already knew she was a laser fan & have frequently tired our arms out keeping her entertained...this hands-free alternative does a way better job than us!

My kitty is happy :-D
Since our cat always became super hyperactive as soon as we went to bed and started jumping around on our heads, we bought this toy. Now, we turn it on in the evening when we go to bed. Our little darling tires herself out playing with it for 15 minutes and then crawls into bed with us to sleep. Absolutely brilliant!

automatic laser pointer
I ordered this laser pointer to give my cats a bit more entertainment. Out of the four, three are absolutely thrilled with it. You can either place the device on the floor or set it up on a shelf, allowing you to work with different heights. The integrated mirror is also adjustable, so you can align the laser properly. Of course, you need a bit of space for this – for example, my cats enjoy playing with it in the kitchen and living room.
The only important thing is to throw a catchable toy for the cat after 15 minutes (when the device automatically switches off) so they don’t get frustrated.
This laser pointer is a great choice if you don’t have much time to play with your furry friends but still want to offer them some variety.

Experience
I have to say, it’s really a great idea, and Leonie and Bella play so well with it :)

Simon loves it
This is our tomcat's favourite toy. At first, he was a bit irritated by the noises the device makes, but now he automatically starts looking for the red dot as soon as he hears it. Sometimes he even stands in front of it, waiting for the laser to be turned on. Our other two cats aren't very interested in it. But not all cats like the same things :-)

FroliCat Bolt Laser
Since my two little rascals (11 months old) are absolutely fascinated by light games, I wanted to try out the FroliCat Laser, and the verdict: they love it. The noise is tolerable, and the laser is so captivating that it completely distracts them—definitely not a bad purchase. The only downside, as with all battery-operated devices, is that the batteries run out too quickly. But it's an absolute hit and definitely worth recommending!

Very good!
It was a Christmas present for my cat =)
And I turn it on about 1-2 times a day... he never gets bored of the thing.

Good lazer beam, slow tracking, quite noisy
My cat loves following this lazer, but still prefers when I use the hand held function. I find on automatic the dot tracks quite slow, then suddenly jumps to a different location and she loses it briefly. She prefers when i move the dot in a smooth but fast motion and will run around after it, less so when its on the automatic function. In principle its a good idea and I don't regret the purchase, but I will be on the look out for a future replacement which is quieter and tracks in a smoother manner.

Quickly boring
The device only provided three days of fun, after which the loud mechanical movements inside the device became more interesting than the laser. We have three kittens aged four months running around here, and all of them lost interest after a short time... such a shame. Additionally, it should be mentioned that the batteries die faster than expected. After a short while, the capacity is depleted, and the laser "drags" across the floor. It's an expensive disposable product.
