Unfortunately, we don't like the laser. Both cats are distracted by the noise, which is quite loud. We also think the laser moves too quickly, so their interest fades quickly as they often couldn't follow the dot. We will be returning the laser.

The pointer seems to only have one laser pattern, which gets really boring over time. Occasionally, my cat still chases after it, but for the price, I expected something better with more variety!

Unfortunately, our tomcat was terribly scared of the thing. He was completely frightened and puffed up his fur, even though he’s usually very curious. Our other tomcat found it very interesting, but the laser dot was a bit too fast for him. He’s a very good hunter outdoors, but he didn’t realise when the dot was behind him :D So, unfortunately, it’s not for us.

At first, the cats absolutely loved the toy, but then, in the heat of a cat battle, it tipped over once, and since then, while the laser still works, the turntable it's mounted on seems to be stuck, so the dot doesn't move anymore. I had expected it to be more durable.

Unfortunately, the laser moves far too quickly, and since the room where the laser is set up isn’t very big, the laser often ends up high on the wall where the cats can’t see it anyway, or on the backrest of the couch. But it moves so fast that they can’t keep up with it.

Good idea, but not for my little ones. Unfortunately, my three indoor cats still haven’t gotten used to the noise, even after several months.

The red laser dot is small, the device is slow and loud, so much so that my little cat was scared of it.

I thought the FoliCat was quite funny, my cats didn’t. They were more interested in the loud noise than the laser. Sent it back.

Bodhi, our kitten loves chasing the laser dot from our little handheld mouse. (Also purchased from Zooplus and highly recommended!) This should, in theory take all the effort out of making him chase around the room but unfortunately, as some others have mentioned the way the motor moves means that he often loses where it's shining. It's also difficult to find a place to site the device in our large lounge/diner which keeps the dot on the floor most of the time. It's also VERY noisy so if you're using it to try and distract him whilst you're watching TV or working from home it's not the best thing. If they could allow you to have more control over the speed and direction of movement and make it a bit quieter I'd happily pay twice as much but as it is it's of limited use for us

The laser moves in an oval pattern. My cat lost interest after just a few days and now begs me to play with the "mouse laser" myself. I can do much more with it, like hiding the laser beam behind the door – that drives him crazy. It's a shame, I thought this toy would make more interesting movements instead of just oval circles. That's why only 2 stars.

The device only provided three days of fun, after which the loud mechanical movements inside the device became more interesting than the laser. We have three kittens aged four months running around here, and all of them lost interest after a short time... such a shame. Additionally, it should be mentioned that the batteries die faster than expected. After a short while, the capacity is depleted, and the laser "drags" across the floor. It's an expensive disposable product.

But the noise :) the volume of the device distracts my cat from the actual laser point.

My laser arrived defective, i.e., it only marks one point and doesn’t move. I received a discount, which was very kind of Zooplus. My tomcat still thinks it’s pretty cool, as he just chases the single point in one spot. But for the price, it’s rather underwhelming. The price-performance ratio doesn’t match!
