Quite nice when it's sitting on the shelf.
But the noise :) the volume of the device distracts my cat from the actual laser point.

I've lost my cat to a toy
I was expecting my cat to turn her nose up at this toy like she has so many others. I am ecstatic to say I was wrong. The first day this arrived, Molly played with it for 13 hours with hardly a break.
She loves being able to chase round and round the room like a nutter without having to nag her slave to break her wrist swishing a toy about.

Super toy! Simply brilliant. My little rascals go wild when it lights up :-)

Loud, but good ;)
The device is, contrary to expectations, not too monotonous; it encourages the kittens (especially in the dark ;) to be active and doesn’t become boring too quickly. It’s great that the laser dot occasionally stops on the floor, allowing the pet to find it again and continue playing. The beam is also projected using a movable mirror.
What I like less is the humming noise, which is tolerable for humans but somewhat irritating for the cats. Still, I’d recommend it if you want to keep your little fluffballs entertained even outside of dedicated playtime.

Suuuuuuuuuuuuuper!
The first time I've seen my four cats lying around completely exhausted.
Amazing product, my four already love it! As soon as I unpacked it and set it up, they went wild.
I'm never giving it up!

Cat's delight!
What a good buy! I have four fat lazy Persians that need to be entertained and stimulated to play. This does the trick so effectively without killing my finger holding down a laser pointer or swinging a toy around - they love it!
The noise doesn't phase them but be sure to allow them to catch a toy afterwards so they have the satisfaction of not just hunting but catching their prey. I use a fishing rod toy afterwards.
They love the toy, I love the product - satisfaction all around!

Absolutely brilliant for all indoor cats
I can absolutely recommend this toy!
My two (male cat, 5 years old; female cat, 4 years old) still love the laser even after several months. It's also great that the device switches itself off after a few minutes.
My tips for the next development stage:
- Different speed levels (every now and then, my cats can't visually keep up with the laser)
- Timers, so the laser could be activated several times a day.
I usually turn it on in the morning when I leave the house.
Regarding durability, I can already share something: my male cat has knocked the device off the sideboard multiple times, and it's still intact :-)
What might be a bit annoying for some is the noise the device makes while operating. It sounds a bit like a mobile phone vibrating on a wooden table.
Conclusion ---> Definitely worth buying!!!

Well...
I bought the Bolt Laser out of convenience, thinking I could use it to keep my cat entertained and distracted.
At first, my indoor tiger found the device quite fascinating. Unfortunately, the movements are relatively slow, and my cat quickly got bored—until she started completely ignoring it after about a week.
Conclusion: It's nice enough, but it becomes uninteresting quickly—the Bolt Laser is now with a friend of mine. Her cat, on the other hand, likes it.
You just can't avoid trying it out for yourself :)

Great activity
This laser is really great. Our cat loves it. It's also good that it switches off automatically after 15 minutes. Otherwise, our cat would probably be running around all day. :)

Very good toy
I’ve bought a lot of toys for my outdoor cats, but this one is by far the best. The cats go crazy chasing the dot. It basically works like a cat wand or a regular laser pointer, except you don’t have to run around yourself all the time. It’s fun to watch the cats as they get their exercise. The price is reasonable, so 5 stars.

Brilliant invention
I think it's a brilliant invention because my tomcat sometimes just watches that spot for minutes before he finally decides to move. I, on the other hand, quickly lose the motivation to keep moving the laser pointer back and forth. With this device, he can take as much time as he likes... The only downside is that it only moves in circles – it would be nicer if it moved randomly in all directions.

Pros and Cons
The FroliCat Bolt Laser is a welcome change for our cat; she absolutely loves it. However, it's not particularly quiet, and unfortunately, you can't adjust the speed of the laser.
Still, I would recommend the product.

Too slow and far too loud
Unfortunately, the toy is far too slow and too noisy.

Brilliant toy!
Bought this toy for my two 7 month old kittens and I must say I think it is fantastic. My kittens loved the basic laser pointer but my fingers didn't so when I saw this automatic one I thought I would give it a try. People have said it is noisy and yes it is a bit but if you have the TV on or people are talking then you cannot hear it and even if the room is silent the best place for this toy is up on a shelf about 6 foot from the floor so that the beam moves around the entire floor and the kittens don't notice the noise or the unit then. Of course the kittens are going to be more interested in the unit if you just sit it on the floor in the middle of the room, it took me about 5 minutes to realise that was not the way to go. I cannot praise this toy high enough and I would urge everyone to buy one.

Movement for cats and fish
The cats absolutely love the laser light. – But it’s not just the cats chasing the red dot; no, even the aquarium fish dart after it – of course, only within their glass walls ;o). We stumbled upon this rather by chance. The first toy that can be used equally for cats and fish. (I would never have thought of the idea of wanting or being able to provide entertainment for aquarium fish otherwise.)

Is completely ignored
Based on the many good reviews, I decided to buy the device.
My two tomcats (1.5 years and 14 years old) are absolutely not interested in the toy. I’ve adjusted the mirror several times, tried different locations, and even held it in my hand. NOTHING!
My friend (who also has 2 cats) borrowed it (an extremely playful 2-year-old cat and an 8-year-old tomcat). Neither of them showed any interest either.
Now I have to figure out how to get rid of this thing...

The cat is totally into it.
Smokey loves this thing too. It offers variety, as the laser moves on the wall as well as on the floor, and I also think it's great that you can choose between a moving laser and a stationary one.

Everyone thinks it's great.
Even our "grandpa" at 16 years old is interested in it. My eight cats are thrilled. Especially for indoor cats who stay inside, it's the perfect fitness programme. Every penny was worth it.

Validation therapy
Super, the last order arrived today, and it included this laser. We have three furry friends: Shaja, our senior cat, Lumpi, our laid-back pacifist, and Lucki, the youngest and rather hyperactive tomcat!
Shaja is still a bit reserved, which we attribute to her age. Lumpi initially reacted with some fear and scepticism, but Lucki finally has something to burn off his energy with. We can tire him out, and he can fully focus on the red dot. Somehow, he doesn’t understand why he can’t catch the thing, but he’s already figured out where it’s coming from. ;)
All in all, a great toy and fun entertainment for both cats and their humans. It’s so enjoyable to watch what they get up to trying to catch that red dot. Thumbs up – we all love it!
