Two issues - first is how fun it is to watch your cat go bananas over this. Yay! I offered it up for a limited time and put it away afterwards to try and preserve some of the aroma. But after a few weeks the scent is dead and cat not interested. So my reservation is that it's not a lasting, sustainable way to get your cat to play as the toy is obviously made of fake fur which can't be recycled in any meaningful way. But watching him enjoy the toy so much.... climate change or kitty heaven?

The ferret is Cheeky’s favourite toy, she just loves it, particularly wrestling it and kicking with her back paws. When I put it away she gets it out of her toy box herself, well she is a tuxedo cat who just loves her ferret!

My cat loved it, but it absolutely stinks. Unfortunately he went a bit too mad for it and was able to lick clumps of fur off it. He possibly swallowed some before I took it off him and put it in the bin

This is my kittens favourite toy. I'll probably buy another so he has a spare one

I received this for my cat as a gift and the reaction was just hilarious, he loves his ferret and will protect it with his life. I have since bought a few people this and all say the same. It will make the most aloof cat go absolutely bonkers.

Bought a new one of these recently. It is my third one. Unfortunately they have changed the material of it, it feels a lot more synthetic and cheap. My cats refuse to play with it which I'm gutted about as they don't react to catnip or anything. This was the only thing they loved so I'm really disappointed.

My cat absolutely loved this from the minute it came out of the box. Lots of bunny kicking and he licked it soggy! So worth the money!

She likes catnip generally, but the ferret (lovingly named Fergus ferret) turned her into a feral creature. She padded around the house with a deep meow carrying him in her mouth. He also randomly appears in different spots in the house. Particularly outside the bedroom door in the morning.

Honestly I’ve never seen my cats have such a reaction to one toy that I wish I’d bought two of these. They went absolute crazy and are loving playing with this toy, this toy does smell not the most pleasant to us humans due to the valerian which was to be expected. Stay away if you are sensitive to smells. By far one of the cheapest but best investments I’ve made in a toy for enrichment. 10/10 buying one more in my next monthly order to make it fair

My kitten went absolutely mad with this toy the moment when we receive it. My kitten was very excited, and went straight to his new toy. He looked like he is having lots of fun. And yes, there is a bit of smell, but it was fine with us. It’s smell of the nature.

Even my 18 year old cat went crazy for this ferret, and she doesn't usually play at all. I wasn't even going to offer it to her, but as soon as I opened the ziplock bag it comes in, she was alerted by the smell, and jumped up to snatch it out of my hand. Catnip always makes her scent-mark the nearest hard surface and this was no exception. I'll definitely buy this again, even though I really don't enjoy the smell myself!

I brought one before and it wasn't the original one and alot less stinky. But someone then wrote saying its stinky, so I gambled and brought another. Same as before, the material has changed, the smell is next to nothing. The picture needs to be changed

This toy is my cat's favourite, it encourages his natural cat hunting instincts. The smell mimics a real animal and this makes it feel more real for him. We have had it since Christmas and he plays with it every day. We had read previous review about the poor quality and it falling apart but we have found the opposite- Its been through a lot and incredibly robust. Would love to see more similar items made as its great for indoor cats development.

I knew the ferret would be a hit, just like the lama predecessor was a couple of years ago. I decided to treat the newest member of our cat family to a fresh Aumüller ferret toy (as the alpaca was still functional, but years old) and it did not disappoint - Ember was one extremely happy Maine Coon 😻. I just wish there was an XL size option/version of this which was more suited to her larger size - it wouldn't need any more herbs in, just a larger sized toy with more stuffing 😸😺

I have 3 cats & they go crazy for this, I bought a bunch of toys, I put this away along with some others to give at different dates, they managed to sniff this out & burst out of its packaging! Only down side is it STINKS, need to store in a sealed container 😬

This toy smells like rotting carcass. Within a few hours of opening it, my poor cat was vomiting and our whole apartment stank. Straight to the bin.

They smell so I keep them stored away until play time, but my cats absolutely love these. Will definitely buy more
