Cat's Best litter has received praise for its excellent clumping and minimal tracking, keeping homes tidy and odour-free. However, recent changes have left some users disappointed, citing issues with dust, inconsistent clumping, and smaller, crumbling pellets. Despite these concerns, many still find it economical and effective, particularly for long-haired cats. Overall, while the product has seen a dip in quality, it remains a favourite for its cleanliness and ease of use.

Actually...
.. the cat litter isn't bad. However, I don't like that it's so coarse-grained, which means the consumption is higher.
I prefer the "normal" CB because it's finer, and nothing gets scattered around my flat. Though, there is a little bit in front of the litter box.

Brilliant
I've tried quite a few different types of cat litter, but this is the best! No dust, no more granules scattered around the house, and my cats are happy to use it too! Plus, with my Maine Coon, nothing gets stuck in her fur anymore!

Disappointing
I bought this litter to try it out because I used to use Classy Cat, which has really gone downhill in terms of quality. I wish I had just stuck with Classy Cat! Now the litter tray smells absolutely awful! There's no talk of odour absorption at all, and the clumping is poor too! I'm just glad the pack is so small and hope the ordeal will be over quickly because of that.

Simply brilliant!!!!
This cat litter is absolutely brilliant. It's incredibly long-lasting. My furry friends hardly spread any litter around the house. It's great that you can dispose of it in the toilet.
I'm completely satisfied with this litter, and so are my cats. There's nothing to complain about.

Less scattering effect than with the regular CB
I had always used the regular CB before, but I was bothered by the excessive "scatter effect" around the litter boxes. With this pellet version, there's noticeably less litter lying around because the individual pellets are heavier and don't fly around as easily. The smell and clumping are just like with the regular CB – it has a pleasant wood scent and forms clumps that are easy to remove. Perfect for us, and the cats accepted it straight away.

Not so great
High consumption, poor clumping, lots of mess around the litter box. The only good thing is the pleasant smell. Still, I won’t be buying it again.

Simply brilliant
I have a Persian and two Maine Coon mixes... I tested it for the first time and WE are absolutely thrilled. The kitties took to it straight away. It hardly produces any dust, even smells pleasant, doesn’t get stuck between paws and fur, is lightweight, and ideal in terms of usage. We don’t want any other litter anymore.

Really very good
The odour nuisance is significantly less than with anything I've used so far for my three tigers. The clumps are nice and firm, making them easy to dispose of. Unfortunately, my toilet-goers also scatter these pellets in front of their litter boxes. However, due to their size, it’s still cleaner :-)

Great plant-based bedding
For many months now, we've only been buying this litter. We're completely satisfied. The cats take to it gladly, there's no longer an unpleasant smell in the flat, it doesn't get spread around the flat, and if you buy coarse litter scoops (available here at Zooplus and very affordable), it sifts through the slots nicely.
It could be a bit cheaper, but otherwise, it's a fantastic litter, and we'll continue to buy it.

still the best
Having tried all types of clumping litter, this is the best. I have 3 Maine Coons and they love to dig. Yes this litter tracks, I think it would be impossible to invent one that doesn't, but it sticks to the fur a lot less than the ordinary Oko plus and is a lot less dusty, so healthier for cats and owners alike. best of all it clumps and that is wonderful for leaving a clean and non smelly cat tray. It's well worth paying the extra!
The Best Clumping Litter
I think I've tried every cat litter out there, but this one is the best. Finally, nothing sticks to the fur, there's no nasty smell, and it's easy to dispose of. What more could you want?

Perfect for long-haired cats
I've been testing this cat litter for 2 weeks now and, overall, I'm quite convinced.
It clumps really well, controls odour effectively, and it's the best for my Persian cat.
No litter scattered around the flat. Brilliant!
I'll definitely keep buying it.

Perfect for my Coonies
I've tried so many different products, but this cat litter is the best for my two Maine Coons. It clumps really well, and I can dispose of everything via the toilet – it's just brilliant. With my two Coonies, there's a lot of wee and so on, and now I don't need bin bags anymore. I also find that it doesn't spread around the flat as much since nothing sticks to their fur anymore. I'll be sticking with this.

Very good
I've been using it for 3 weeks now and have to say, it's very economical. Plus, there's no smell at all. The fact that you can dispose of the clumps in the toilet is great too. Unfortunately, proper clumps don't really form—they fall apart straight away. Also, the pellets end up scattered everywhere. So, as litter, it has convinced me, but the "side effects" aren't so great!

Super
The other Cats Best litter was already liked by my two. I have to say, they were completely messy before and finally accepted a litter. "Gold" is even better for me because there's less litter ending up outside the tray. Nevertheless, my two cats happily accepted this one again.

Super!
Doesn't stink, lasts long! Practical, just toss it into the toilet!! There's hardly anything in front of the litter tray!!

not convincing
I bought all three Cat's Best products to try them out, and I wasn't too impressed with this one. Firstly, the pellets end up scattered all over the house, and secondly, the odour control can't compare to the Universal litter. Despite the clumping, it's really hard to clean because the dry pellets don't properly fall through the scoop and because it sticks so strongly to the bottom. I'll stick with the Universal Cat's Best.

Unfortunately, not so great.
At first, I was really impressed because hardly any wood pellets ended up in front of the cat litter box. However, this litter also crumbles over time (around 1 week), and then you’re back to having the same problem. Additionally, it’s not as economical as other types of litter and has a slightly stronger smell. The large pellets are not easy to remove with the scoop, as many clean ones get picked up as well since they don’t fall through the "scoop grid".

Never again - it stinks.
I bought this litter because I thought it wouldn’t spread around the flat as much as fine-grained litter and would also cause fewer scratches on the laminate flooring. However, I had to realise that the large pieces were quite often found everywhere – especially on the sofa.
The smell combined with urine, etc., is very strong. I have two short-haired cats and a bathroom without a window. I’ve now switched back to fine-grained baby powder-scented litter.

Purrfect for moggies to
So I started out on normal oko. And then was at a cat show and they had the gold stuff on special so I picked some up. The guy there was saying you just put back in all the unused litter after each clean of the tray, but I think that's pretty grim so I use a 10l bag every 10 days (2 boys share a hooded tray). Anyway, prior to this I was using normal Oko, and it had to be switched out every week without fail and I found it got quite powdery and dusty in there. With the Gold, it lasts longer between switchouts, tracks less, and a lot less of the dusty stuff after a few days in the tray. This is good as my cats are black, and one digs to Australia when dropping the kids of at the pool, so he used to come out covered in the dust. Anyway, how zooplus sells it in batches of the 10l bag is perfect as I struggled a bit with the 40l of normal Oko.
