I also believe that the product has significantly deteriorated. The pellets have become smaller, and a lot of litter gets carried into the surrounding area. That didn’t used to be the case. The packaging also contains a lot of "dust". In the long run, I’ll be looking for a different product.

Our cat does not use other gravels like wood. He has a long coat, so often leaves spreads the gravel on the rugs. This litter is quite small, so it does not stick to the feet. It reduces the smell but not as much as "Cat's best universal". Unfortunately, it is absorbed strangely - at the bottom it gets into a very hard layer that can be removed only with a spatula, and sometimes there is still a wet layer in the litter box. The product is very good, ideal for long-haired cats! It's a shame that you can only buy a maximum of 2 pieces now! I would love to order more.....

When I got my two Maine Coon tomcats in 2016, I started using Cat's Best Nature Gold and was always very satisfied. In the meantime, I switched to regular litter because of the price, and now it annoys me so much that the litter gets spread all over the house and creates so much dust that you’re afraid of having an asthma attack. Now I’ve got the Smart Pellets, and finally, everything is tidy again! No scattered litter and, most importantly, no dust! I’m sticking with it.

Unfortunately, it's not as good anymore, as a lot flies out of the litter box and it doesn't clump as well either.

I love this cat litter. It doesn’t smell, is biodegradable, very economical, and hardly any of it gets carried out of the litter box. The only small downside is that the urine doesn’t always clump completely and breaks into smaller chunks, which can be a bit harder to remove. Still, an absolute recommendation!

In the past, the packaging always contained large pellets, which meant that little litter was carried out of the cat litter box. However, now the packaging includes a lot of crushed pellets, so the advantage of a premium product is no longer there. The odour control is still impeccable.

Doesn't spread around the flat, binds odours extremely well, and is environmentally friendly. Downsides: sifting takes quite a while because a lot of clean litter gets stuck. Also, it doesn't clump perfectly with urine, leaving small chunks in the tray. The faeces stay on top, but that doesn't bother me at all. For me, these points are negligible since I no longer find litter in the bed or elsewhere and don't have to constantly clean up after it. TOP!

Cats like traditional ‘Cats Best’ and so did I until I discovered their pellets. Nowhere near as messy. Cats are ok with it too. Good clumping, low odour and dust. Economical too despite high price.

Highly recommended! I wanted to try a new cat litter because I don't find conventional clumping litter sustainable or environmentally friendly. I previously used clumping litter from Golden's and now wanted to switch to a biodegradable/compostable litter. Cat's Best is perfect for this. Even disposing of smaller clumps in the toilet is no longer an issue. The only thing that doesn't work quite as well yet is the non-stick effect – my long-haired cats still manage to track a lot of litter outside.

I used this litter for nearly four years. Then, in their infinite wisdom the makers decided to change the litter and rebrand it as ‘smart pellets’. WORST IDEA EVER. The litter is now incredibly dusty and breaks up very easily. The litter now turns to a hideous jelly when wet instead of clumping and it starts smelling whereas before it clumped brilliantly and almost had no odour. Sorry Cat’s Best, you’ve lost yourself a long standing customer here!!

Litter tends to be a trade-off - with good clumping they tend to be bad for tracking, and vice versa. I used Oko Plus for many years, and just lived with it everywhere! Tried this towards the end of my old boy's life when he had a bad paw, as I needed something dust-free that wouldn't stick. It's brilliant, I'm sticking with it for my new two! Virtually no tracking, the clumps are softer but can be scooped easily if left to harden a little first. Seems to be lasting well so far too, very happy!

My primary criteria is non tracking and easy disposal. I have been using this product for a year now. I’m mostly happy with it, but the clumping is noticeablely not performing as well as it could. There is too much spreading and wastage. As soon as any pellet comes into contact with any moisture the pellet sticks to it , even if it’s dry . Rather then sticking as a clump, it just spreads wide across the bottom of the tray. Throwing so much away. Which for expensive litter is just not economical

Had hoped to stop tracking, but the pellets are proving too large, my cat will not use it for solids. She has used it for a wee, but dry pellets cling to the clump, making it cumbersome to deal with. Have gone back to Cats Best Sensitive, tracking a nuisance, but otherwise works well.

I've been using the product for over a year now, and my tomcats love it. With two large cats and a lot of business, the consumption is quite high. Still, I keep buying the product again and again. It clumps well and smells like wood.
