As far as eco litters go, this is one of the best I have tried thus far, it clumps reasonably well and doesn't smell. I would have given it a full five stars, but the amount of tracking and subsequent clean up needed is somewhat inconvenient. It's a liveable with issue, but it would be nice if it didn't track so much.

We've been using this litter for about 4 years now, for 4 cats. I did try out other brands in between, but I have to say none of them could compare to Cats Best. I actually think the quality of the litter had dropped at some point, but in my opinion, it's improved again.

Was initially quite satisfied with it, but suddenly the quality dropped and it smells bad too. I've switched back to Naturton, definitely better.

As the owner, I don't think this natural litter is bad at all; it doesn't create much dust and smells like a forest. However, my cat doesn't particularly like it. I did appreciate that any bits that fell out didn't scratch the nice wooden floor when stepped on. But I still had to switch back because the cat wasn't happy...

I take out the poop that looks like a breaded schnitzel with my hand because I lose too much litter using the scoop (I don’t mind doing this! It’s not mushy or anything). However, I’ve ‘extended’ the litter with Aldi litter. The crumbs are everywhere. But in terms of smell, TOP -> NOTHING.

Based on a previous review, I decided to order the 3 x 10-litre pack instead of the 20-litre one. First time trying it! Had to test it with my four tomcats. One of them left me a *present* in the bathtub (I love that cat for making it so easy for me), while the others gave it a go. Positive: it’s very light in texture; even though they leave decent-sized piles (unfortunately, they don’t dig), I cover it with the scoop ---> no smell! However, crumbs are scattered all over the flat.

Last week, I received the 10-litre bag for €5.99. I had ordered it as a trial, as mentioned. Today, such a bag costs €6.49. I won’t buy it anymore at that price; in my opinion, it’s not worth it due to the loss during cleaning.

I love the fact that this litter hides smells, clumps, is flushable ... but i HATE the fact that it tracks literally all over the house! Alsdo, since I have a Bengal cat, who loves to 'stir' her water in the bowl (Bengals like to drink running / moving water), I have to change the water extra frequently as the litter sticks to her paws and ends up contaminating her drinking water! However, I keep on using it, because it really is good in all ways other than the tracking.

It's a shame that this litter isn't suitable for our multi-cat household. It's affordable and very economical, plus it's compostable. But unfortunately, it doesn't clump at all. The faeces just lie loosely between the granules, which is fine. What's worse is the urine: instead of forming small clumps, the granules just get damp, dark, and start to smell. If I want to prevent the whole house from stinking, I have to replace all the litter every single day. That's not the point.

I've been using this litter for a long time. But lately, I've unfortunately noticed a decline in quality... it's much dustier... it doesn't clump as well anymore, and the clumps fall apart when removing them, so the "dirty" litter ends up mixed with the clean one... also, the odour has been getting worse and worse...

We have 6 cats in the house, which means we have several litter boxes. We've been using Öko Plus litter for over 2 years now, and it's the best litter we've had so far. The clumps go into the general waste, and the remaining litter during a full change goes into our soapstone stove. It's very effective.

And finally found for my cats Lily and Luis, Cat's Best Öko Plus is the best there is.

I love this litter one of my cats was urinating outside the box i tried most things to stop her then decided to buy some of this litter and what do you know no more peeing outside the box any more. Been using this for 2 months now and not one accident. Easy to scoop and flush the clumps down loo. Absolutely no smells whatsoever. This stuff is amazing. It does track but thats a small price to pay and i'd rather hoover up than clean up cat pee. Plus its cost effective in the long run.

Cats Best is actually a great cat litter. It absorbs urine wonderfully, and it doesn’t create any dust at all. It has a lovely "woodsy" scent. However, based on my experience, it’s an absolute disaster for Maine Coon cats. The lightweight material sticks to their fur/paws and gets spread everywhere—from the bathroom to the kitchen, balcony, under the bed, and so on. Daily vacuuming is a must. Otherwise, it’s great. We’ve switched to Benek litter made from maize. It’s not as good, but the litter is heavier.

bought this as a cheaper alternative to WB. Had read a few reviews that said it tracked a little. This doesn't track a little, it tracks A LOT. nightmare trying to get this stuff from the cat's fur and our shoes and carpets. it does clump (eventually) but into massive mushy balls that are terrible to flush. does mask smell well though, silver linings and all that. never straying from WB again!

I have a large, tall cat litter box that I fill two-thirds full with this litter. This prevents anything from sticking to the bottom. When removing the faeces and urine clumps daily, you only notice a slight smell when the faeces are deposited. Once it's covered up, there's no smell at all. However, I do wish the litter was a bit coarser so it wouldn't get spread around the house as much when the cat leaves the litter box. Strong-smelling faeces are often due to various types of wet food. ;-) 40 litres are enough for one 5kg cat for about 2 months.

The best part is that it can be disposed of in the organic waste bin! Just fill it into a biodegradable waste bag and you're doing something good for the environment! Apart from that, our cats get along with it really well, and it's easy to clean too. It hardly produces any dust, which is, of course, even better!

My cats do use the litter, but after just one day it smells like a field full of manure. I clean my cats' litter boxes three times a day, and yet it still stinks terribly.

Due to the good reviews and for the sake of health, we switched to Cat's Best. The litter clumps very well with urine, but it started to smell quite unpleasant rather quickly. Worse still, it spread absolutely everywhere, and nothing helped to stop it! (3 cats in the household) Additionally, it’s not as easy to sift through.

I bought this cat litter based on the very good reviews. Unfortunately, my two furry friends refuse to use it due to the strong odour of the litter itself – they just sniff briefly in the direction of the fresh, unused litter box and then turn away again.
