Customers appreciate this cat litter for its effective clumping and odour control, making it a long-time favorite for many. However, recent changes in formula have led to dissatisfaction, with complaints about reduced clumping, increased dust, and tracking issues. Despite these negatives, some users still find it economical and environmentally friendly, praising its lightweight nature and absorbency. Overall, while it has its drawbacks, the litter remains a popular choice for its original benefits.

Absolutely brilliant! Nothing to complain about!
I bought this litter because of the excellent reviews and I can ONLY AGREE!!
The litter clumps very well and you can't smell it throughout the flat. It also has a nice scent of its own.
The litter is very economical, and you can easily dispose of the clumps and other waste in the toilet. Since it's very lightweight, it does spread around a bit, but if you put down a mat, it's no problem!
All in all, a fantastic litter. I don't regret the purchase, and my cats love it :)

Functional
I switched to CB because my little one behaves like a desert gerbil when she goes to the toilet: she takes a full bath in it and then steps all over the place. With bentonite, I was worried about her health; during such antics, she sometimes ends up swallowing the litter! :( Unfortunately, since using CB, my flat looks like a disguised carpenter's workshop – wood shavings are flying everywhere. The litter completely fails when it comes to faeces; the scent comes through in full force. It does its job with urine, though.

Very satisfied with the 10L, so I ordered the 40L. But disappointed, as it crumbles and doesn’t clump. Our two British Shorthair tomcats and our 6-year-old kitty like it a lot because it’s soft and doesn’t have any unpleasant odours. Switching from Catsan was hassle-free. Hardly anything gets tracked out with the covered litter box. 5 stars for the 10L.

Super!
I haven’t tried that many types, because I’ve been so happy with Cat’s Best that I don’t use anything else anymore. I have Maine Coons, and nothing sticks to their fur, plus the litter around the flat is kept to a minimum. One of them covers up his business nicely, so there’s hardly any smell, while the other cat unfortunately always scratches somewhere else ;-))) It clumps perfectly for the little business every time. I’m very satisfied!!!

Incredibly good!
There's nothing better. I've had cats for many years and spent a lot of money on litter. Cat's Öko Plus is very economical.
My cat has long fur. The litter doesn't stick anywhere. The litter box doesn't smell. It just has a slight forest scent! Brilliant!

Cat litter no longer clumps.
Since this cat litter has been available, I've been using it, and I must say the quality has really gone downhill. The clumps fall apart, and the wet litter mixes with the clean one. I'm therefore considering switching to a different litter because having a clean litter tray is important to me for my 12 cats.

The best cat litter ever!
This cat litter is the absolute best there is, in my opinion. There's no smell, it clumps well, and it's economical. I've been using only this for years!!! I always keep a small broom and dustpan next to the litter box because, just like with sand, some grains stick to their paws, but it's not a problem. I can 100% recommend it!!

Super bedding
We chose this cat litter as a switch from wood pellets to clumping litter for our two little lions, and it’s simply brilliant.
Absolutely odour-binding, it forms large clumps that are super easy to remove, and nothing ends up on the floor from the cat loo.
We’ll definitely stick with this litter.

Never again, the cats don't accept it.
My cats don’t like it, and it doesn’t help that it would be practical to dispose of it via the toilet or compost bin. They’re opting for the other litter boxes where the familiar old clumping litter is still inside. Some of them are even leaving their messes on the floor next to the box, even though the litter in the tray is clean. On top of that, the litter ends up scattered all over the house. Never, ever again. I don’t understand what’s different for people who leave positive reviews.

no longer the quality
I was always completely satisfied with this cat litter. Since the last bag, I’m not satisfied at all anymore. It crumbles apart and no longer has the usual cohesion. I’m totally disappointed. I’m already thinking about buying a different litter soon. Really a shame.

Am I glad I tested that!
We have two little kittens (13 weeks old), and they really made my place stink. I cleaned up their messes straight away every time, but it still smelled, and guests didn’t feel comfortable. Since I’d heard only good things about this cat litter, I decided to get CBÖP, and I have to say: I’m impressed! At the moment, the litter is still mixed with the old "cheap" litter, but there’s no smell at all. Brilliant!

Not bad
I actually don't think the litter is bad, but what really bothers me is that it spreads all over the flat and starts smelling like urine after a short time. My little tomcat also found it too hard and ended up urinating on cushions instead. That's why I've now switched to a different one, which works better for me. On the plus side, it's super lightweight, can easily be disposed of in the toilet, and hardly creates any dust.

not good
1. Not suitable for long-haired cats because the litter sticks to their fur.
2. The litter doesn't form good clumps after urine comes into contact with it.

First time purchase
This is my first time to use a corn based litter. I was surprised how if you left the poo inside for some times and then scoop it, it smells nothing!
The clumping is not as good as the clay one I had used but is fine enough.
I saw a lot of bad reviews about the tracking so I was a bit worried at first but it seems fine with me as my cat is short-haired and the clay one tracks as well and I am used to it.

Top!
Never another cat litter. We've been using it for years and wouldn't want to be without it anymore. It neutralises odours, still smells fresh even after weeks, and there's no need to completely clean the litter box every few days. We top it up for 6 weeks before doing a thorough clean of the litter box. Our indoor cats accept it very well, and disposal is done via the organic waste bin. That's why it's 5 stars from us for this fantastic litter!

Satisfied for many years
I've been using this litter for almost 20 years and have always been very satisfied. Some reviews I just can't understand. We fill at least 10 cm of litter into the cat litter box. It's always clumped perfectly so far. It doesn't smell of urine at all, and nothing gets mushy on the floor either. I can only imagine that some people simply don't use enough litter. The litter lasts forever since you only need to remove the solids and clumps. As for the dust, we've always been lucky with that.

Disappointment
I bought this litter based on the good reviews. However, I can't fully agree with them. I've had two indoor cats (12 weeks old) for a week now and have been using this litter since then. It doesn't clump properly and sometimes falls apart. When the cats jump out of the litter box, the whole place ends up covered in it.
Unfortunately, it starts to smell after 2-3 days, and as soon as the cats do their business, the odour isn't immediately absorbed and ends up stinking accordingly.

Quality has deteriorated significantly.
From ***** to ** stars! I used this litter enthusiastically for years, and my two tomcats accepted it well right from the start. BUT: recently, the quality seems to have dropped significantly! While I used to be able to easily remove the clumps, the litter lasted a long time and didn’t smell, now the clumps (if any even form and it’s not just a soggy mess in the tray) crumble apart immediately, spread everywhere, and it starts to stink quickly. Such a shame!
