Looks damp, so the absorbency is worse. After a complete replacement, the litter used to look spotless for at least a week, often longer (with daily cleaning), but now the dirty leftover crumbs catch the eye after just 2-3 days. I'll be glad when I've used up the last of the "forties."

That all the positive qualities were "cut out" at the same time feels like a slap in the face. Unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous reviewers: the quality of this litter has become absolutely dreadful! For many years, I was a passionate buyer of this litter, and my furry friends (3 cats, four litter boxes) were happy with it. Sadly, that's now come to an end, and with great regret, I have to start looking for alternatives. The changed packaging design and the switch from volume to weight measurements already hinted at trouble, but I initially thought it would just be a blow to the wallet...

Been buying this stuff for nearly 2 years since Bob was a kitten. Originally it was amazing, clumps stuck together solidly and although it did track, it wasn't too much. But the last few months the quality has changed dramatically. Even Bob's small ping pong sized clumps fall apart when you get them out and the tracking is horrible, now the stuff gets everywhere. It is still decent at hiding smells hence the two stars but i'm trying to find alternatives now, which is such a shame.

We've used for years now and found it a great performer, and flushable too! However, the last couple of bags have been a let down as it now seems to be so dusty, tracks worse than it ever did and just doesn't clump particularly. We have finally decided to let it go and find an alternative product.

This is the best litter I've ever used for controlling odours. It's completely dust-free, which is great for keeping down the dusting chores. However, my two cats track it everywhere and they don't like stepping into it as much as fine clay clumping litters.

I've been using this litter for many years. Since last year, the quality has deteriorated unbelievably: the clumps fall apart and end up as tiny pieces throughout the litter (great for cleaning! 😡); after 2 weeks, there's more "dust" than litter in the tray, which then spreads all over the house – even my cat is annoyed by it! I even informed the manufacturer's customer service about it. Clearly, they haven't changed anything about the clumping component!

I was looking for a cat litter that clumps and where the clumps don't break apart – and I’ve definitely found that with this litter. On top of that, the cat litter smells really pleasant!! So it’s truly recommendable.

I've been using this litter for years and, overall, I'm very satisfied. Some bags had slightly darker litter and were of better quality. Now it's very light again and, unfortunately, much dustier.

This litter used to be excellent thus I have used and recommended it for 12 years. However the last bag has litter in it of very poor quality: it no longer clumps and does not disguise the smell of cat urine any more. I am really disappointed with the drastic drop in quality

Pro: Natural product Pleasant smell (When cleaning the litter box, I didn’t encounter any bad odours – I actually thought it smelled like a forest) Unfortunately, I had to switch the cat litter because it ended up scattered all over the flat.

I’ve been buying this litter for years and was very satisfied. However, the last package is no longer recommendable. The clumps break apart, and it starts to smell sooner. The litter also crumbles very quickly. Such a shame...

Doesn't clump anymore

I’m very satisfied with this litter. I always had the problem with other brands before that the urine clumps in the cat litter box would break apart, but with this litter that doesn’t happen at all anymore. It forms super clumps and even smells nice.

It's fantastic. Our cat loves it, and disposal through the toilet is hassle-free. A top-notch product to recommend.

as with many other reviewers I bought my last batch about month ago. As they have all indicated something has changed. This no longer has the great clumping ability it once did. Cats Best was my first choice litter, and it will be difficult to replace for another as good as "oko". I will maybe think outside the litter box and buy this and the pellets to see if that sorts the issue. If not, mmmmm.....???

Unfortunately, the clumps keep falling apart. At first, I thought it might be because I was disposing of it right after the cat had done its business. By now, I know it's the litter itself. An alternative is Greenwood. After testing it for a week, the clumps held up there. The pellets from CB also fall apart after a week, but they spread less around the house.
