No smells but spreads everywhere!

This litter is quite granular in texture - a bit like the broken up bits of popcorn at the bottom of a bowl! It has great odour control and lasts a long time but spreads ALL around the house. I've never had this issue with any other litters and will go back to using Cat's Best Nature Gold which is a bit more expensive but stays in the litter tray.

Impressive!

This stuff is amazing (although this is my first cat, so am easily pleased)! Clumps really well when wet which ensures the minimal amount of wastage. Masks the smell (of urine, at least). Flushes down the toilet and the rest is OK for the compost heap as and when you require! What more could you ask for!? The instructions were all in German but, on a visit to a pet shop I took a picture of the English ones. However, it's not rocket science...put 5cm or so in litter tray, clean out when required! I didn't have an issue with the smell of it out-the-bag and the cat doesn't seem to mind it!

Great Litter but not fo long haired cats

I loved the idea of the litter, the fact you can flush this is great and it clumps well, looks a bit like sawdust. Only problem is my two hairy beasts track it all around the house. Am now sick of hoovering every 2 mins or walking it into the carpet. Would reccomend if I had short haired cats but back to the drawing board for me.

Oko is the best

I have tried loads of different litters over the last 25 yrs, all the cob and corn to recycled paper! Nothing and I mean nothing comes close to how well this works ! I have 5 cats and this means no smell , minimum fuss in cleaning and minimum waste. It's brilliant I can't fault it

THIS IS VERY, VERY GOOD!

This is the best litter I have ever used. It clumps and covers well. Best to use a deeper tray, and put in a good depth of litter, I put in nearly three inches. This helps the clumping, keeps the tray cleaner and makes it easy to scoop out. I then drop the clumps into the toilet and allow to soak before flushing. For the first time ever, cleaning out the spoil tray is no longer a smelly chore. You will get some tracking, but it is easy enough to brush / hoover up. Strongly recommended.

Great litter

This litter is great as it does not smell, it hides the smell of cat waste and you only need to throw away a small amount at a time. It does not harm the cats' paws and it is not dusty. It does track around the house but this is a small price to pay for great product.

Brilliant cat litter

I can't rave about this litter highly enough! It is really economical, I've found I haven't had to fully empty out my litter trays as frequently as with other litters so it lasts a long time. The urine clumps really well and is easy to scoop, and it doesn't stick to the bottom of the tray when it's shallow like some clay litters. The best thing about this litter is that it's flushable, it makes it so convenient. I find that the only problem is that it does track quite badly, but I purchased some mats and that picks up most of it.

Great

After years of using the cheapest supermarket cat litter I was a bit sceptical about switching to something that seemed so expensive for my 2 cats (one indoor and one an occasional user, she seems to prefer my next door neighbours garden >.<), but i got the large bag and it seems set to last 3+ months (just under half left after 2). Works really well and doesnt smell to bad, is a little on the light side so tracks a bit but doesnt get caught in my long haired cats fur which is great ^^ they did seem a bit sceptical about using it at first although i combined the new litter with the roll'n'clean litter box but after a week confidently removed their old litter tray and litter.

The best

After looking after my indoor cat for 16 years who sadly died 3 years ago. I recently took in a rescue female that turned out to be pregnant and now I have 5 indoor kitties. I tried oko and I can just simpley say "it's the best cat litter in my 16 pluss years experience of looking after cats". No smells and easy to keep clean.

So much easier to use

My outdoor cat has become an indoor cat due to her age and has started using her litter tray four times a day instead of four times a month. I tried lots of different cat litters and all were smelly, expensive and very heavy to carry back from the supermarket. Decided to try this and am completely won over by it. I got a large 40L bag delivered and I can't detect any smell at all. I do remove the clumps as soon as I can and top it up regularly. My cat was sometimes reluctant to use the tray before as she obviously considered it a bit too smelly but she has no such problem with this. She does walk it all over the house but that is a small price to pay for the clean smell. I've invested in a small rechargeable vacuum cleaner to pick the bits up. Lasts well too, it's about a month since I got it and the bag is still over half full. Great stuff!!

BEST EVER LITTER

I have 7 indoor cats and they all love it No smells from the trays and the poo and pee is easily removable leaving the trays fresh and clean A 40kilo bag lasts me one month I remove the dirty litter and wet area from underneath the litter and rake the top over which leaves the remaining litter clean and dry. Topping up the trays with fresh litter when needed. Much easier on my feet when my furries carry it out of their trays on their feet. Although it appears to be more expensive than other litter I find it is more economicable to use as well as the trays remaining clean and fresh.

simply the best

after my 10ltrbag had finished after 3weeks (2 indoor cats) i thought i would try the extreme classic litter, even though extreme classic clumps alot better than oko plus, i think oko plus is so much better for odour control, after one day of using extreme i can smell the litter box so im sticking to oko plus, love the pine smell of this litter.

very good but tracks badly

other wise i would have given it a very good. i will keep on with it though as it has no horrible smell, appears to last much longer than the sofisicat i used before.

brilliant odour control

I am a new cat owner and after four different types of litter i decided to try this as i saw a review on utube for this product vs classic so next i shall be trying that but im sure nothing can beat this

Best litter out there!

I have changed to Cat’s Best Oko from World's Best primarily because of the price. I think it performs better in other ways too; the smell is loads better, it clumps better, and lasts just as long. However, as other reviews have stated, it does track a lot. I would recommend using it with a covered litter box and mat. I have incorporated sweeping up the tracked litter into my daily litter cleaning routine which means that this litter is more time consuming than others. It also helps that I have wooden floors, I am not sure I would use this litter if I had carpets, or I would switch to the ‘Gold’ version. Having said that I will not be changing – this is a really great litter for a really great price!!

Bengal and moggy share litter trays.

Fantastic. Bought this after my daughter started using it. I have cut trays down to 3 instead of 7!Plus the pee pads i used to use. It seems dear as I have big trays and use a deep amount but the pee balls, as we call them, clump and scoop easily. Being disabled this litter makes it much easier to deal with.

The best yet!

I just bought this to try in place of the World's Best Cat Litter, which was SO expensive! I have used this one for a week for my 2 cats and I love it. The fresh pine smell and the way it clumps along with the more reasonable price has sold it to me. I shall use nothing else in future for my 2 .

BRILLIANT BUT...

Brilliant litter, ticks all the boxes but...does end up everywhere. Sadly I have had to stop using it. I just could not stand finding this litter in unlikely places ... if they could just make it a little heavier so that it does not trail as badly, this for us would be perfect. My cat has long fur, this should be taken into account, also his HUGE litter house has quite a low step out, so this also could be part of the problem.

Great litter!

I thought I'd try this brand since World's best is so much pricier and it works just as good! Its actually much less dusty than WB and i prefer this fresh pine smell over the supposedly "popped corn" smell that WB has. It clumps well but just not as firm as WB but I dont see a problem with it. As for tracking the pellets are bigger and like I said before less dusty hence a little less tracking, only one or two pellets onto the next room. I do however use an actual rugged door mat instead of a litter mat outside the litter box to trap the bits in better and my cat is a short haired cat so I don't suffer the problems of dragging litter. Overall great fresh smelling litter!!

excellent

great product. clumps well, no smell. it tracks on the carpet, but that doesnt bother me

Perfect for us

It clumps well and doesn’t create much dust. If you clean the litter box regularly, it doesn’t smell. Some gets carried out on their paws, but with daily sweeping around the toilet, it’s not a problem. Our cats don’t like scented litter, so this is perfect for them.

I always buy it. Good price.

It's just a shame that zooplus packs it in a big box. It would easily fit in a slightly smaller one if the top packaging was bent. And it makes a difference to me, because I prefer to collect my deliveries from the parcel locker.

It's not the same anymore

I’ve seen that other people have had the same experience as me. I bought it for two years, it was really excellent. For months now, it’s not the same anymore. It DOESN’T CLUMP anymore. As for the smell, unfortunately I’ll have to try again because I bought a similar one, but the bad odour isn’t neutralised.

Very good litter

Very practical and pleasant natural litter for the cat, she doesn’t scatter it everywhere.

Lately, it gives off dust

I've always used this litter and been really happy with it, but lately it's been giving off loads of dust. Even when I scoop it, I end up coughing from all the dust—imagine what it's like for the cats. I'm thinking about switching to a different one.

Brilliant

I've been using this litter for a few months now and honestly I don't regret it at all, it's really great. Plus, with a big bag I can fill five litter trays and still have some left over, so it's really good when you have several cats.

Dusty

The sand is very dusty, which is a shame because it goes a long way and clumps well.

Almost dust-free but clumping is mediocre

I previously used cat litter from Lidl and wanted a low-dust option. I'm very happy with this cat litter because it's quite low in dust and absorbs odours well. However, I'm unsure about the quality of its clumping. It does form clumps, but the pee clumps break apart when I try to clean the litter box. The pee stays fairly wet, which is annoying because it leaves small bits of litter behind that already contain pee. As a result, the litter needs to be replaced more often.

It's not the same product anymore.

We’ve been using this cat litter for years. Now it doesn’t clump like it should anymore and the litter smells worse.

Good

Pros: eco-friendly, easy to remove Cons: smells damp and like sawdust if not changed right away

It's the best litter

Natural, clumps really well and doesn't smell bad or release dust.

The best

Our favourite: it lasts a long time, doesn’t leave dust everywhere (like the stone one), clumps well... Negatives: it sticks quite a bit—leaves marks and it’s a bit pricey.

Very dissatisfied, used to be better, doesn't clump properly.

The first ones we bought directly at Fressnapf were of higher quality.

Very good cat litter

Great cat litter, the cats are happy, it clumps nicely and smells like wood. The pieces used to be a bit bigger, so now they spread it around the flat more, but it's still good and much better than the original bentonite one.

Excellent!

I've been using this litter since 2011 and it allows me to avoid bad smells in the house because I can flush it down the toilet. It's odourless so it doesn't bother me, and it doesn't contain any toxic substances for my pets. Finally, it's clumping and absorbent.

Not recommended for cats with respiratory issues

It covers smells really well; Makes firm clumps, easy to remove from the litter; It's gentle on the paws, soft, my tomcat liked digging in it. The biggest downside, and the reason I'll stop using it, is that it leaves a lot of dust. My cat has respiratory issues, which came back shortly after I started using this litter. The dust bothered me too, so I had to wear a mask when cleaning/changing it; Another downside is that it spreads easily all over the house.

Clumping litter???

I bought this litter because it was supposed to be very low in dust. But that's really the only advantage! As for CLUMPING litter...???? Every clump falls apart as soon as you lift it out of the tray, or even just shake it a bit on the scoop to let the clean litter fall back into the tray. So better not to shake it and just throw everything in the bin. What a waste! Even my three cats prefer to use the other tray, which still has the "old" type in it. Never again!!!!!
