This is by far the best cat litter I have used - and environmentally friendly too

It's very lightweight. It doesn't smell like urine, the litter absorbs well. Biodegradable.

I’ve been using Cat’s Best cat litter for almost 12 years now. It’s simply brilliant – long-lasting, no smell of a litter box, and you can dispose of it in the toilet (great if you live in the upper floors of a new building). The price-performance ratio is excellent, and the urine clumps so well that you don’t end up removing too much of the "good litter".

At first, I was a bit sceptical because of the price. It seems slightly more expensive at first glance, but the yield is unbeatable. The litter smells only of fresh wood and absorbs the often strong odours of cat urine and faeces surprisingly well. Cats Best is absolutely recommendable.

I was used to buying cheap wood pellets and realised that there was a lot of waste. Decided to buy this one and the clumping part is brilliant! Less waste, less change-over’s!

Brilliant litter - can't fault it. HOWEVER.... DO NOT FLUSH DOWN LOO EVEN IF PERMITTED! Cat faeces contains a nasty parasite TOXOPLASMOSIS which cannot be destroyed by sewage treatment; it is the parasite that can has devastating consequences for pregnant women. Sewage pumped into the sea containing toxoplasmosis has a devastating effect marine life in the eco chain, and as sewage cakes for fertilising farm lands it can infect wildlife etc. THROW AWAY - DON'T FLUSH.

This product is absolutely amazing!! The old cat litter smelled awful after just 4 days! This cat litter has been in the litter box for almost 4 weeks now as a test, cleaned after every use, and it still smells as fresh as when it was first opened!! It’s super easy to dispose of, even for lazybones, straight down the toilet :) Top-notch product!!!

This is the best cat litter I've ever had. I've always had cats, and of course, litter too. I've tried all sorts, clumping and non-clumping, scented and unscented. But this litter, you don't need anything else. It smells nice, like wood shavings. It clumps, but not too much. When my cats do their business, it doesn't smell—unless they don't cover it properly. Really great, and I'll keep ordering it again and again.

Finally, a litter that can also be used for small dogs. It's odourless and absorbs urine very well.

I'm sure the litter has changed. It was lighter in colour before. This last month it is darker, dusty as hell and not containing smells very well. Disappointed if the product has been changed that's for sure.

I have used this product for a while now as I own 5 cats, it's a lot of litter trays. This product used to be the best thing ever, but my past 3 orders I've noticed a decline in the longevity and effectiveness of the product. Nearer the bottom of the bag is just dust not usable product (probably to make up the weight). It used to be such a great product, I would actively encourage friends to buy it by giving them samples of mine, not anymore. Will continue to look for an alternative meantime.

We wanted to switch from Celit to wood for the sake of the environment. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well at all. They peed next to the litter box. The litter is very sharp-edged, and our tomcats really didn’t like it. We got tempted by the offer. Now the big bag is just sitting there, and we had to go back to the old litter.

The idea that you can dispose of the cat litter in the toilet is great – but with 4 cats, it’s not a solution for me. The granules are large, so unlike another eco-litter, it doesn’t get spread all over the house. BUT unfortunately, the litter doesn’t clump firmly and falls apart when removing it from the litter tray, meaning the litter doesn’t stay fresh and starts to smell after 3 days. Additionally, it becomes very sticky, making cleaning the litter tray more difficult.

Unfortunately, too coarse, clumps fall apart – won’t be buying again.

For me, Cat's Best used to be the best cat litter. But lately, it smells after the cat has been to the toilet because the litter turns into a weird, soggy mush. I don't like it this way and am looking for something new...

It's a great product however when you buy the large pack it's mostly dust and not much litter. Very disappointing as I still use the product but now have to buy the smaller pack.

I've been using Cat's Best for about 15 years. Recently, I've noticed that the quality is no longer what it used to be. The typical wood scent you would get when adding fresh litter is now barely noticeable. The granules are no longer soft and round but hard and sometimes sharp like stones, and they end up scattered all over the flat. Even the colour is different, more like the cheap clumping litters from the supermarket. Such a shame! Looks like I'll have to find something new.
