Also suitable for rats!
I've been using Cat's Best Öko Plus for quite some time now in the toilets of my six rats, and I'm completely satisfied. It controls odours perfectly! Highly recommended for every rodent lover!

Not bad
The litter itself is very good. What surprised me was the pleasant smell, and despite being eco-friendly and compostable, it clumps even better than many, many other litters.
I switched from Extreme Classic to this one because it’s incredibly efficient and also affordable.
Downside (which is why it’s only rated as good): I currently have kittens, and they even play in the litter box, so the litter ends up scattered all over the flat. You just have to sweep it up...

Spreads quite a lot
The litter has an interesting, unobtrusive scent and binds odours quite well. While the clumping works fine, the urine seeps all the way to the bottom of the toilet and isn’t properly absorbed there. Since the litter is relatively coarse-grained, not every scoop is suitable for letting unused litter sift through, which makes removing the clumps more difficult. Additionally, because the litter is lightweight, it spreads quite far throughout the entire flat (even beyond the litter mat).

Well...
Wanted to try this litter with an eco-friendly mindset.
1. It’s extremely lightweight, which makes transporting it easier. Downside: The litter sticks to the paws and ends up being spread around the flat.
2. The clumps often fall apart, making cleaning not so easy.
3. The cats simply prefer the Extreme Classic litter box. They only use CBÖP when there’s no other option.
4. The odour control isn’t bad, but it’s not optimal either.
Conclusion: Comparing CBÖP and Extreme Classic, the latter is simply unbeatable, even though it’s considerably more expensive. However, since EC is much more economical in usage, it wins by a mile in our household!

Brilliant!
As a die-hard Extreme Classic fan, trying out this super-cheap litter was more of an experiment for me – and I was completely surprised! A 40kg bag lasts about 2-3 months with 2 cats! Excellent clumping ability and top-notch odour control! And on top of that, it’s biodegradable! The only downside is that you’ll find litter all over the house – but you can counteract that quite well with litter mats! Overall, a fantastic litter!!

We are satisfied!
After trying out various clumping and non-clumping litters, I ended up with Cat's Best Öko Plus. Initially a bit sceptical, I decided to do a comparison test with silica litter first. Litter in a bowl, water on top, and waited. I was surprised! I never thought it would work so well! The litter smells like freshly chopped wood and quickly neutralises odours from waste. It does create more dust when pouring compared to silica litter, but that's not an issue for us. The litter box could go back into the living room, and the bathroom door can finally stay closed again. Highly recommended.

Dusts like crazy!
In my opinion, it's not recommendable. The first bag was good, but the other two became very dusty after just a week.
Moreover, my cats don't like scratching in it, so their waste ends up lying openly on top.
Good price, poor performance!

The best with a flaw
In my opinion, this cat litter is the best currently available on the market. You actually need less litter for the same job compared to competing products. The odour control is excellent. Unfortunately, the litter seems to stick very well to the cat's paw, so the small pellets end up scattered over a wide area around the quiet little cat corner.
I find Catsbest recommendable.

Totally thrilled...
...and that's how it's going to stay! I've tried everything possible and would never give up Cat Öko Best! I don't actually have cats, but I do have two little Biewer Yorkies—and they sometimes love it so much they try to eat it! But I don't have to worry at all if they get a bit carried away and take a mouthful, because it's all natural and, thank goodness, it doesn't clog them up like other litters—it crumbles immediately! I have no issues, neither with dust (they love digging in the litter box, and with many other litters, they'd have sneezing fits!) nor anything else! The fact that some litter ends up around the box is totally normal, and I just sweep it up with a cordless broom several times a day—not even worth mentioning! The most important thing is the health of my two little darlings!!!!

Superb!!!!! Simply brilliant!!!!!
An excellent cat litter. No more lugging heavy bags around because it's very lightweight. And it clumps fantastically. Urine no longer seeps all the way to the bottom of the litter box. I used to have Biocats Classic before – but there's no comparison. It doesn't produce dust and is suitable for the organic waste bin. Only positives!!!!!

Finally, something bearable!
I’ve tried many types of litter with my two cats, but I found them all way too dusty. Apparently, I have an allergy to concrete dust, so it was really hard to find an acceptable litter. I’m sticking with this one—it hardly produces any dust, and if it does, it’s only wood dust. It clumps well and isn’t too heavy to carry. I’ve never had any issues with odour with any litter. It’s true that the granules get scattered around the house, but I’ve placed a draining rack (the kind you usually use in the kitchen for drying dishes) in front of the litter box, and it works brilliantly. Sure, a few bits end up in the bathroom, but it’s not a big deal, especially since the pieces aren’t sharp if you step on them. All in all, absolutely fab! It could just be a bit cheaper on zooplus—you pay about €1.35 less in stores.

I let myself be convinced.
After years of using Biocats, I decided to give Cats Best a try based on recommendations from other cat lovers and the many positive reviews here on zooplus.
I have to say, I’m very satisfied, and more importantly – so are my cats.
The constant sneezing whenever the cats used the litter box has finally stopped.
The litter has a pleasant scent, clumps well, and is super lightweight (unlike the heavy Biocats).
So, we’ll definitely be buying it again in the future.

The litter is great. I went straight for 40 litres. It's odourless, absorbs well, and is lightweight. I previously used Biokats Fresh, but my cat got a rash from it.

I've been using this litter for almost 3 years now and I'm very satisfied. It's very economical to use and smells pleasant. Good clumping too. And most importantly! ;-) My two cats are happy with it.

Super litter – highly recommended. Our three cats (including outdoor cats) all use one litter tray – that says a lot about the litter.
Don’t let the price put you off – it lasts much, much longer than all the others.

Very good litter! I especially like that it’s not made of concrete. Doesn’t smell, even after a few weeks. Also doesn’t create dust. Minus 1 point because it spreads everywhere (you just have to vacuum more often) and because it’s not quite as long-lasting as I’d hoped – but I’m sticking with this litter anyway.
