I’ve tried many types of litter with my two cats, but I found them all way too dusty. Apparently, I have an allergy to concrete dust, so it was really hard to find an acceptable litter. I’m sticking with this one—it hardly produces any dust, and if it does, it’s only wood dust. It clumps well and isn’t too heavy to carry. I’ve never had any issues with odour with any litter. It’s true that the granules get scattered around the house, but I’ve placed a draining rack (the kind you usually use in the kitchen for drying dishes) in front of the litter box, and it works brilliantly. Sure, a few bits end up in the bathroom, but it’s not a big deal, especially since the pieces aren’t sharp if you step on them. All in all, absolutely fab! It could just be a bit cheaper on zooplus—you pay about €1.35 less in stores.

After years of using Biocats, I decided to give Cats Best a try based on recommendations from other cat lovers and the many positive reviews here on zooplus. I have to say, I’m very satisfied, and more importantly – so are my cats. The constant sneezing whenever the cats used the litter box has finally stopped. The litter has a pleasant scent, clumps well, and is super lightweight (unlike the heavy Biocats). So, we’ll definitely be buying it again in the future.

The litter is great. I went straight for 40 litres. It's odourless, absorbs well, and is lightweight. I previously used Biokats Fresh, but my cat got a rash from it.

I've been using this litter for almost 3 years now and I'm very satisfied. It's very economical to use and smells pleasant. Good clumping too. And most importantly! ;-) My two cats are happy with it.

Super litter – highly recommended. Our three cats (including outdoor cats) all use one litter tray – that says a lot about the litter. Don’t let the price put you off – it lasts much, much longer than all the others.

Very good litter! I especially like that it’s not made of concrete. Doesn’t smell, even after a few weeks. Also doesn’t create dust. Minus 1 point because it spreads everywhere (you just have to vacuum more often) and because it’s not quite as long-lasting as I’d hoped – but I’m sticking with this litter anyway.

I have to agree with the majority and say that I’ve tried out a lot of different types of litter, and with my four cats, Cats Best is clearly the winner. However, as many others have already pointed out, the biggest issue is that you find Cats Best absolutely everywhere in the house (bed, cupboards, etc.), and this is especially inconvenient if you have a dark carpet. I hope the manufacturer will eventually address this problem. Unfortunately, I have to buy Cats Best at the pet shop, as I only pay DM 10.99 or €5.60 for 10 litres there.

This cat litter is honestly the best I've tried so far. I can only recommend it. The 40-litre bag costs almost 30 DM more at specialist shops than at Zooplus – unfortunately, I only discovered that too late.

The litter is great, but it's clearly too expensive at Zooplus. I pay just 12.95 DM for 10L at my local pet shop, whereas at Zooplus it's 16.99 DM – a whopping 4 DM more. Otherwise, I highly recommend it. And for those complaining that the litter gets spread around the house, I have a mat in front of the cat litter box, and it helps. Besides, don't most households vacuum once a day anyway?!

Our tomcat has been using this cat litter for a year now. At first, he stopped scratching in the litter box because of the dust. I managed to solve this by pouring the cat litter from one bucket to another outside in a light breeze before filling the box. I repeated this a few times until the wind had blown the dust away. Since then, we’ve been completely satisfied.

After gradually transitioning (from Extreme Classic), our three cats accepted the eco-litter without any issues. The odour is very well absorbed, and the yield is excellent. To deal with crumbs scattered around the flat, we used seagrass mats (available at IKEA for 3 DM). Now, the litter crumbs that get carried out collect under the mats. But the best thing is the fact that this is a product made from renewable raw materials.

First off: The service from zooplus.de is excellent. Five extra points for that. The cat litter is fantastic. The odour formation, which is unavoidable with other litters, is significantly reduced. My cats accepted the new litter without any issues thanks to a trick (temporarily mixing it with the previous litter).

Very lightweight litter, clumps well and has a pleasant smell. It just took a little while for our 4 cats to get used to it.
