Great natural cat litter
My tomcat had rejected all the clumping litters I tried before. Then I got this litter, and now my cat loves going to his litter box. The litter clumps really well and smells natural too. Sometimes a bit of litter ends up outside the box, but it’s easy to vacuum up. I also can’t say that it smells bad at all. I clean the litter box twice a day, so there are no unpleasant odours. My cat and I are very happy with this litter. Plus, it’s very lightweight and easy to dispose of.
I won’t buy anything else anymore!!!

Clumping litter?
Since the litter is listed under "clumping litter," I had to assume that this was true! Unfortunately, there are no clumps as you would expect with "Thomas clumping litter," but rather numerous small lumps! Sure, you save a lot, but it’s definitely more tiring and time-consuming!

Cleanliness
It is indeed very "absorbent", but the granules stick excessively to the cats' paws and fur, spreading throughout the house or flat. If you value cleanliness around the cat litter area, it’s not recommended.

SUPER!!
I've tried all the litters, but this one is by far the best. It's excellent in terms of odour control, efficiency, and ease of use. I use it for two cats and a rabbit and wouldn't switch to anything else.

Top-notch cat litter
Our cats are very, very picky when it comes to cat litter, and not just them—my nose too!
This cat litter has been a big hit with our cats; it’s completely odourless and super absorbent.
It’s the first time in 10 years that I’ve tried clumping litter again, and the cats like it. They cover up their business more neatly, and it’s almost dust-free.

CBÖP unfortunately failed
When pouring it in, I was very pleasantly surprised as it hardly created any dust, even when tipping it out. However, the smell of CBÖP is very unpleasant for my nose. It doesn’t smell natural at all but rather like sawdust from chipboard... and as we know, that smells more like glue and adhesive than wood. My cat made this clear to me as well—she sniffed the new litter once and then walked away in disgust. She refused to use this litter. Luckily, we had set up a second litter box with different litter, otherwise things could have turned out differently (like her doing it outside the box or on the bathroom rug). So, I could only test the clumping with water. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any clumping at all, just a mushy mess that couldn’t be removed in one piece and crumbled immediately. Conclusion: Never again CBÖP. What’s the point of the eco-friendly idea if the cat avoids the litter entirely?

Super economical!
I’ve tried many types of litter, but this is by far the best. It’s super economical and absorbent. It hardly produces any dust, so my rabbit feels really comfortable in its toilet.

Tried many, this is THE HIT!
I’ve had a cat for 6 years. For the past 5 years, our bathroom has had an unpleasant smell of cat poo and pee. No cat litter absorbed the odour, no cat litter was easy to handle without falling apart. I have to say, this cat litter is simply amazing. Our place no longer smells like cat, the clumps don’t fall apart when scooping them out, the kitty doesn’t scatter as much litter all over the flat (especially in the bathroom), and she looks very content. The litter isn’t hard but soft, which must be very comfortable on our indoor tiger’s little paws. I wouldn’t want to buy any other litter now. The price-performance ratio is excellent. I’d happily pay much more for this overall quality. And I’m sure my kitty would too.

Very good!
The main reason for my first purchase was the good compatibility for both humans and animals! Winner in Ökotest 8/2000. The only litter! It composts well, so no additional waste is generated. It clumps nicely, and as for odour control with the bigger business, I can only say: I remove all clumps daily and add a bit of litter, which keeps the toilet fresh for a very long time. It’s very economical, and I’m very satisfied. The cats love it!

Verdict: very good!
My two cats and I are absolutely thrilled with this litter. Thanks to its efficiency, it's also very cost-effective. It can be disposed of in the organic waste bin, which is great for the environment and saves space in our household rubbish bin! It's true that you often have to vacuum or sweep around the litter boxes, but I've found that's the case with other cat litters as well. The odour nuisance is relatively low compared to other litters I've tried (I've gone through almost everything, from leading expensive brands to cheap ones). I can honestly only recommend this litter!

Great value for money.
After a long search, I’ve finally found what I was looking for!!! In the past, we used a discount litter due to cost reasons and because our cats, luckily, aren’t picky at all. However, the quality of that litter had deteriorated significantly. Good advice was truly expensive at that point. After thoroughly studying the reviews here, we decided to give this litter a try and were pleasantly surprised. The more affordable 40-litre bag is not only easy to carry because the litter is so lightweight, but – and this is far more important – the litter is very economical and clumps excellently, even after a longer period of use. We’re fortunate that the cat litter boxes are on our balcony, so the only downside bothers us less: the cats do scatter the crumbs quite generously around the toilets. But hey, isn’t that what vacuum cleaners were invented for? So, in short: a fantastic litter at a fair price, as the cost only seems a bit high at first glance due to its great efficiency.

Cat litter
So, I bought this because of all the good reviews. It's really annoying that we have it scattered all over the flat, and that's with two cats. Odour control? Well, when one of our cats does their business, oh la la, you can smell it from metres away. And as for clumping... Sure, there are lots of big clumps, but also loads of tiny little bits that you can't scoop up easily. Unfortunately, I still haven't found the right cat litter yet. Such a shame, really.

The mix makes all the difference.
I first tried EC litter. When I then had three additional cats staying with me on holiday alongside my two tigers (NFO/EKH), I noticed an increasing allergic reaction to the dust from EC. On the advice of a friend, I then tried Cats Best Öko. Initially, I mixed a bit of the new litter with the old one to gradually get the cats used to it. The result was astonishing. Thanks to the much larger wood litter, the dust formation from EC was drastically reduced, and the pleasant but intense baby powder scent was toned down. The moisture absorption and clumping are fantastic, and the litter box is easier to clean as very little sticks to the bottom. The litter is lighter, more efficient, and therefore more cost-effective, and despite the different texture, it can be sifted well. My tigers like it, and I no longer have any issues with my eyes. For me, it’s a great solution.

I imagined it differently.
I am very disappointed with the cat litter, and I’m surprised that the previous reviews were so positive. The litter is simply not good—it does clump, but when it comes to solid waste, the smell is not covered at all. For the price of 40 litres, I’m very disappointed with the performance it delivers. Stay away!!!!! Only suitable for mouse or rat cages!!!!! (I’m being completely serious here.)
Still, best regards,
Anja
I’ll stick with my cat litter "Extreme Classic".

The best
I've tested quite a few types of litter by now... and this is honestly the best. It controls odour really well and clumps excellently. I've now placed an old rug in front of the litter box so the litter sticks to it and stays there, as otherwise it tends to spread quite far around the box. Not anymore though. Highly recommended.

Great bedding - eco-friendly
Binds odours very well, clumps perfectly, and can be disposed of in the organic waste bin.
Downside: the cats tend to carry the stuff quite far between their paws.

Cats Best
I've been using the litter for a short while now. It clumps really well, but it doesn't smell particularly nice. Overall, though, I'm very happy with it.

Cat's Best
I've been using this amazing litter for 6 weeks, and up until *yesterday*, the cat accepted it straight away. It's certainly pure and natural, which is good for the animal, but there are still some downsides.
It smells quite musty when the cat does its business, and the litter doesn't absorb the odour. On the positive side, it absorbs urine well. It's very lightweight and therefore spreads everywhere quickly. A doormat helps to catch some of it, but definitely not all.
Conclusion: Great product, but only for well-ventilated rooms and not for people who are sensitive to mess. I'll now switch to Biokats Compact Fresh since my cat has started leaving its mess outside the litter box.

Good but expensive
I've been using this litter for years. Advantages: lightweight (no 20kg bags!), very good clumping, excellent odour control, hardly any dust, compostable. Disadvantage: cats carry the litter around the house on their paws; expensive.
