One of my cats completely refused to use the litter. Instead of going to the tray, he chose every other spot! Such a shame, because I actually found the wood-based litter very appealing due to its eco-friendliness.

At first, I tried one type of litter after another until I found this one. I've been using it for 4 years now and I'm absolutely satisfied. The litter is very economical because you only scoop out what's been used (the 40-litre bag lasts us 6-8 weeks), and if you put enough in the litter tray, the pee doesn't stick to the bottom but forms a nice round clump. It only smells of poo if the tomcat is too lazy to cover up his business. But that's not the litter's fault. If necessary, you can always scoop a bit over it yourself.

The perfect litter unfortunately hasn’t been invented yet, even though it sometimes seems like it has, as my first impression was very good. It’s very economical and smells pleasant, but only for the first few days. The fact that it can be disposed of via the regular toilet is also practical. Unfortunately, it has the downside of spreading around the flat even more than "normal" litters, and not just the dry crumbs—daily sweeping isn’t enough to remove the crumbs that end up stuck, which is very unpleasant. It also doesn’t clump perfectly, and leftovers fall through the scoop. So, it really comes down to whether you’re willing to put up with this extra effort for more economy and a better smell. I’m still deciding...

Super litter, I'm absolutely satisfied! I ordered a 10-litre bag to try it out. And now I'm going straight for the 40-litre bag because I'm sooo impressed! I've tried a lot of different ones, but this is honestly the best! And so lightweight... no hassle of constantly having to carry the stuff down to the rubbish bin during the day, just toss it in the toilet and flush it away... so simple, easy, and convenient :-)

I’ve had my cat (indoor tiger) since March and have been using Cat's Best litter from the start. Over the past four weeks, her three kittens have also started using the litter box. In these three months, I’ve gone through one 20-litre bag and one 40-litre bag. If you buy the 40-litre bag for €19.99, the monthly cost for the litter is only €10. The best thing about this litter is that it can be disposed of via the toilet. This means you can clean the litter box at any time and avoid any unpleasant smells. We clean it twice a day, and there’s absolutely no odour, which has even been confirmed by visitors. The litter clumps well and doesn’t stick to the bottom of the box. The cat and her kittens accepted it immediately. The only major downside: it gets carried through the ENTIRE flat!! We have two litter boxes, each in a hallway nook, and from there, the litter ends up in every other room. It’s especially annoying to find it on the couch or in bed. Even using mats didn’t help. The litter pellets are fairly large, too. That’s why I’m only giving it 3 stars. Now I’m testing two different types of litter, both of which were immediately accepted. Percato Rocks: In my personal opinion, it smells “musty.” I also don’t like that the clumps turn yellow and are only meant to be removed during a full clean. Overall, it looks unpleasant but does what it’s supposed to. Golden Grey Master: It’s a bit heavy (14kg!), but so far, I’m impressed. With a mat in front of the box, hardly any litter gets carried through the flat (the litter is like sand). It clumps well, and there’s no smell. It has to be disposed of in the household waste, but combined with the Litter Locker, that’s no problem!

My cat and I think it's great. We used to always have clumping litter with baby powder scent, and I have to say, since the litter box is in the bathroom, I thought I was going to lose my mind with all the dust. The new litter is fantastic, clumps well, and I love that you can dispose of it in the organic waste bin. On the first day, my cat looked a bit sceptical, but he uses it just as happily as the previous one. And if a little bit gets scattered outside the box, we just vacuum it up – still much better than having grey paw prints everywhere from the baby powder litter. I just say it's brilliant and will only buy this from now on.

I've tried quite a few litters already. The advantage here is the slight wood scent, but odour control is practically non-existent. It doesn’t smell like cat, but rather like faeces, and as for clumping – well, the urine clumps to the bottom. Somehow, there just doesn’t seem to be a perfect litter, does there? :-))

We've been using this litter for our two "stinkers" for over 2 years. However, the last order will probably be the final one, as the quality has dropped drastically. The litter no longer clumps as well as it used to, leaving behind some "used" litter in the tray that smells and adds to the already annoying dust problem... 2 stars for the easy disposal via the toilet and the acceptable price. If you're looking for litter that truly clumps, you should go for something else.

We like this litter - it hides nasty smells and is good to dig in. Our Mum says it is very easy to clean because of how it clumps, and extremely economical. We don't go outside so a nice toilet is important for us. When we don't like cat litter we have "accidents" outside the litter box - but we don't have accidents with this, it's too much fun to dig in.

We've been trying out all sorts of litter for the past 4 months and have finally found "our" litter. The odour control is really excellent (which was very important to us) and it clumps well. A great bonus is that you can dispose of this litter in the organic waste bin. Since our two Burmese cats have very short fur, not much sticks to it—at most to their paw pads, but we had the same issue with other types of litter. We're sticking with this one!

The litter clumps really well and is excellent at controlling odours. It doesn’t create dust, and no litter gets stuck to the cats’ paws either! Plus, you can easily dispose of the "leftovers" along with the litter via the toilet. Truly highly recommended!!!

I’m completely satisfied with the litter. I can’t confirm that it sticks to the cat’s paws, just a few crumbs around the litter box, which is perfectly normal. It clumps well and controls odour – it even works for our rabbit!

...we love this cat litter. It doesn’t make the flat smell like a toilet, it’s very economical, and the best part is the option to dispose of it via the toilet. The scattering radius of CBÖP is quite large, but that’s probably the case with most litters. We’re thrilled and will stick with it.

At first, I was totally thrilled. No odour and cleaning the litter box was easier than ever before, as the litter is wonderfully lightweight. No more scooping through a heavy mass! But the mess it causes throughout the flat is unbearable. I have two Maine Coons, and of course, a lot sticks to their fur because it’s so light. By now, I’m finding litter in every tiny crevice... For long-haired cats, it’s definitely not suitable. Such a shame, as otherwise, it’s a really great litter.

We have two tomcats, and they share a closed litter box with a lid and a swinging door. I clean it in the morning and after work using the human toilet. I'm satisfied with the litter; the dust formation is quite annoying, but I vacuum the entire flat once a day now. Thanks to the laminate flooring, it's manageable, and with a weekly damp mop, you feel comfortable in your four walls. The clumping is excellent, no smell, and no one comes into the flat and says it smells like cats. The urine smell with bentonite litter was really awful! We live on the 4th floor and always order four large bags (40 litres) at once—the postman always gets properly fed up! Haha!

My cats absolutely love the really great cat litter from Cat's Best. The only downside, which is actually quite manageable, is that due to the lightweight nature of the wood litter, my tomcat always ends up scooping a bit out of the litter box with his paws. But I’m happy to put up with that because the litter clumps incredibly well and hardly gives off any odour (apart from the pleasant wood scent). All the other cat litters I’ve tried so far either weren’t liked by my cats or caused me all sorts of issues when cleaning the litter box, from rashes to sneezing fits. With Cat's Best, both my cats and I are happy!

I've been using this litter regularly for quite a while now and, overall, I'm quite satisfied with it. It's absolutely odour-binding, easy to clean, and simple to transport. However, the major drawback of this litter is the high level of dust it produces. This dust isn't just ordinary; it forms a greasy film when it comes into contact with water. It gets into every crevice and soon covers the area around the litter box centimetres thick if you're not careful. I also believe this dust isn't particularly good for the cats' lungs, especially considering what happens when the dust gets wet. My conclusion: If I find something better, I'll definitely switch, even though, as mentioned, I really like this litter for its efficiency and ease of use.

Cat's Best Öko Plus is, in my opinion, the best cat litter of all. I, or rather the tomcat, have tried out several types. The efficiency of this litter is simply amazing! There's absolutely no "concern" when it comes to odour control either. And all of this is environmentally friendly! I can wholeheartedly recommend this product!!! And the tomcat adds a contented "purrrr" to seal the deal ;-)

Clumping = 5 stars, odour control = 5 stars, dust-free = 5 stars – sounds great, right? But it’s not. I’ve never had a litter that made my flat so incredibly dirty. This litter ends up absolutely everywhere. I have to vacuum five times a day. For this reason, I won’t be buying it again. I’d rather deal with a bit of smell that goes away quickly with airing out.
