Customers appreciate this cat litter for its effective clumping and odour control, making it a long-time favorite for many. However, recent changes in formula have led to dissatisfaction, with complaints about reduced clumping, increased dust, and tracking issues. Despite these negatives, some users still find it economical and environmentally friendly, praising its lightweight nature and absorbency. The BEST
The best I’ve ever tried. Doesn’t smell, lasts ages, and no other brand can beat Cat’s BEST.

Cat Litter ÖkoPlus
I've been using it for 4 years now, and unfortunately, I've noticed that the odour control has somewhat declined! I really wish it would improve again! I have 3 cats, so I need to use an odour-controlling cat litter since they are indoor cats only.

A real flop
We also tried this litter.
Not only is it spread all over the flat and even in the beds – which is the least of the problems – no, the entire flat reeks disgustingly of faeces and urine.
Unfortunately, it was a complete failure for us.

WOW factor cat litter
This litter is light, perfectly clumping so that all urine can be eliminated from the tray without leaving smell, all odours are covered by a faint yet effective smell of wood cuttings! AND it is biodegradable. Way better than any crystals or clay based litter, and good value for money.

Convinced
We've been using this litter for over two years now. Before that, I kept trying out different ones, and just recently, I was given three packs of cheap litter as a gift and thought, "Well, it's free, so I'll give it a go." No comparison! The smell, like with the other cat litters I had used, was really overwhelming. As soon as the cats peed, you could smell it throughout the entire flat. The only advantage was that fewer crumbs were tracked out of the litter box.
Cat's Best Öko Plus, on the other hand, is very lightweight, so you do end up with it practically all over the flat, but you really don't smell anything. And with five tomcats and three litter boxes, that says a lot. :-)
We'll definitely keep buying it. The lack of smell is worth it to me, even if it means vacuuming or sweeping more often.

We’re happy to repeat ourselves...
As we already said back in April 2005: WE – Becky and Maxi – absolutely love going to the loo when it’s filled with Cat’s Best. AMAZING, no concrete blocks, just – uh – pure nature. It ALWAYS smells wonderfully of wood, and you can dig around like crazy in it. Our human says one bag lasts FOREVER. Sure, she has to shake out the mat now and then, but she doesn’t mind that AT ALL. Otherwise, she’d have gotten herself a plush cat instead... WE and our human definitely give loads of stars. We still can’t count, though. I think it’s 5?

Cat's best!
Now this is a cat litter you really can't fault. It clumps nicely, and you can easily scoop it out and flush it down the toilet. Nothing sticks to the bottom, and there's absolutely no smell of the litter tray in the flat. Sure, our tomcat sometimes tracks a bit of litter out, but with which litter doesn't that happen?! Lenny and his two humans are thrilled!

The best there is
I just have to leave my comment here: This litter is honestly the best I've ever come across. Clumps nicely, easy to clean. Just keep topping it up... As far as the smell is concerned, I'm completely satisfied, and let's be honest, who really wants a perfumed toilet? After a "big business" from your furry friend, there will always be a bit of a scent. I especially love that the litter is eco-friendly and has scored very well in Ökotest. It does stick to their paws, but I'm happy to put up with vacuuming or sweeping because of it. My two cats love it, and my current foster kitten accepted it without any fuss.

First top, then flop
At first, I was really impressed: the clumped litter can simply be flushed down the toilet. It doesn’t get better than that. But unfortunately, over time, some significant issues started to appear, with the easily scattered crumbs being the least of the problems. Above all, the litter tray smells worse than it ever has with any other litter, despite cleaning it twice a day. The reason is that it doesn’t clump as well as I initially thought, and leftover bits keep breaking off and staying in the tray. On top of that, damp crumbs get carried around the flat, drying out in random spots. Such a shame, but unfortunately, I can’t stick with this litter.

For us, the best...
I've tried many types of litter now and I'm sticking with this one. Simply brilliant!
The only downside is that the litter really sticks to their paws, so you have to vacuum several times a day.
But better to vacuum 2-3 times a day than deal with bad smells or go broke. (Because it's really economical – I only spend €10 a month on litter for three cats.)

The cat became unclean.
One of my cats completely refused to use the litter. Instead of going to the tray, he chose every other spot!
Such a shame, because I actually found the wood-based litter very appealing due to its eco-friendliness.

Super cat litter
At first, I tried one type of litter after another until I found this one. I've been using it for 4 years now and I'm absolutely satisfied. The litter is very economical because you only scoop out what's been used (the 40-litre bag lasts us 6-8 weeks), and if you put enough in the litter tray, the pee doesn't stick to the bottom but forms a nice round clump. It only smells of poo if the tomcat is too lazy to cover up his business. But that's not the litter's fault. If necessary, you can always scoop a bit over it yourself.

Unfortunately, not perfect either
The perfect litter unfortunately hasn’t been invented yet, even though it sometimes seems like it has, as my first impression was very good. It’s very economical and smells pleasant, but only for the first few days. The fact that it can be disposed of via the regular toilet is also practical. Unfortunately, it has the downside of spreading around the flat even more than "normal" litters, and not just the dry crumbs—daily sweeping isn’t enough to remove the crumbs that end up stuck, which is very unpleasant. It also doesn’t clump perfectly, and leftovers fall through the scoop. So, it really comes down to whether you’re willing to put up with this extra effort for more economy and a better smell. I’m still deciding...

Super litter, I'm absolutely satisfied! I ordered a 10-litre bag to try it out. And now I'm going straight for the 40-litre bag because I'm sooo impressed! I've tried a lot of different ones, but this is honestly the best! And so lightweight... no hassle of constantly having to carry the stuff down to the rubbish bin during the day, just toss it in the toilet and flush it away... so simple, easy, and convenient :-)

Spreads too quickly!
I’ve had my cat (indoor tiger) since March and have been using Cat's Best litter from the start. Over the past four weeks, her three kittens have also started using the litter box. In these three months, I’ve gone through one 20-litre bag and one 40-litre bag.
If you buy the 40-litre bag for €19.99, the monthly cost for the litter is only €10.
The best thing about this litter is that it can be disposed of via the toilet. This means you can clean the litter box at any time and avoid any unpleasant smells.
We clean it twice a day, and there’s absolutely no odour, which has even been confirmed by visitors.
The litter clumps well and doesn’t stick to the bottom of the box.
The cat and her kittens accepted it immediately.
The only major downside: it gets carried through the ENTIRE flat!!
We have two litter boxes, each in a hallway nook, and from there, the litter ends up in every other room. It’s especially annoying to find it on the couch or in bed. Even using mats didn’t help.
The litter pellets are fairly large, too.
That’s why I’m only giving it 3 stars.
Now I’m testing two different types of litter, both of which were immediately accepted.
Percato Rocks:
In my personal opinion, it smells “musty.” I also don’t like that the clumps turn yellow and are only meant to be removed during a full clean. Overall, it looks unpleasant but does what it’s supposed to.
Golden Grey Master:
It’s a bit heavy (14kg!), but so far, I’m impressed. With a mat in front of the box, hardly any litter gets carried through the flat (the litter is like sand). It clumps well, and there’s no smell.
It has to be disposed of in the household waste, but combined with the Litter Locker, that’s no problem!

Great litter
My cat and I think it's great. We used to always have clumping litter with baby powder scent, and I have to say, since the litter box is in the bathroom, I thought I was going to lose my mind with all the dust. The new litter is fantastic, clumps well, and I love that you can dispose of it in the organic waste bin. On the first day, my cat looked a bit sceptical, but he uses it just as happily as the previous one. And if a little bit gets scattered outside the box, we just vacuum it up – still much better than having grey paw prints everywhere from the baby powder litter. I just say it's brilliant and will only buy this from now on.

Doesn't smell like cat, but...
I've tried quite a few litters already. The advantage here is the slight wood scent, but odour control is practically non-existent. It doesn’t smell like cat, but rather like faeces, and as for clumping – well, the urine clumps to the bottom. Somehow, there just doesn’t seem to be a perfect litter, does there? :-))

Loss of quality
We've been using this litter for our two "stinkers" for over 2 years. However, the last order will probably be the final one, as the quality has dropped drastically. The litter no longer clumps as well as it used to, leaving behind some "used" litter in the tray that smells and adds to the already annoying dust problem... 2 stars for the easy disposal via the toilet and the acceptable price. If you're looking for litter that truly clumps, you should go for something else.

Purrrrrrrrfect litter
We like this litter - it hides nasty smells and is good to dig in. Our Mum says it is very easy to clean because of how it clumps, and extremely economical.
We don't go outside so a nice toilet is important for us. When we don't like cat litter we have "accidents" outside the litter box - but we don't have accidents with this, it's too much fun to dig in.

I'm really impressed!
We've been trying out all sorts of litter for the past 4 months and have finally found "our" litter. The odour control is really excellent (which was very important to us) and it clumps well. A great bonus is that you can dispose of this litter in the organic waste bin. Since our two Burmese cats have very short fur, not much sticks to it—at most to their paw pads, but we had the same issue with other types of litter. We're sticking with this one!
