The litter is too light for me...
The litter has good absorbency and is quite economical, but my two cats prefer the regular harder litter that they can properly dig around in.
Additionally, I find it annoying that the litter gets carried around the flat a lot because it’s so lightweight. A big plus, of course, is that the litter can be disposed of via the toilet!

My sensitive furry family
Now only uses Cats Best Öko Plus. Probably because it’s not little stones that scratch their delicate paws, but soft litter instead. Regarding absorbency and odour control, I completely agree with the others. What’s the point of cheap cat litter that smells quickly and has to be completely replaced every day? I’ve tried many different types, but in the end, it’s NOT worth sacrificing really good cat litter for a cheaper option just because of the price. It doesn’t pay off.

Cat's Best
I’m thrilled, and so is my tiger.
The clumps are super easy to scoop up, and with a larger-holed scoop, the clean litter falls through nicely. Unfortunately, I don’t dare flush it down the toilet. So, I wrap it in newspaper and throw it in the bin. - However, the price is quite steep, which probably puts a lot of people off buying it.

Simply brilliant!
The clumping is brilliant, hardly any odours, and super easy to dispose of... tried it once and never going back to anything else... ;-)

Also suitable for ferrets
My three ferrets are thrilled. It absorbs odours brilliantly even without being scratched over and never gets stuck in their fur. It doesn’t have any annoying smells of its own, and I can only recommend it.

...are all well and good, but please don’t forget that it’s always a subjective experience. My personal experience is as follows: My tomcats take to the litter very well. I’ve placed a “doormat” made of a fluffy fabric (available here under item number 36305.0) in front of the litter box, so the majority of the very lightweight litter stays on it and can be easily vacuumed or shaken off. They do track a little bit into the flat, but it’s minimal. My sweethearts are short-haired (Somalis), so no litter gets stuck in their fur except between their paws. The clumping ability is exactly what I expect from cat litter. The same goes for sifting out their “business results.” The odour control is good. Since I don’t change the litter too often, I also use an active odour binder for the litter box, which is also available here at zooplus. Disposal is wonderfully simple via the toilet or organic waste bin. For me and my circumstances, this litter is perfect, and I’m sticking with it.

Dusts and spreads heavily
The litter gets spread all over the flat and creates a lot of dust when cleaning the cat litter boxes. We're switching back to Classy Cat. However, anyone who values a lower waste weight (in some municipalities, residual waste is weighed) will certainly find this product a good choice, as it is much lighter than other types of litter.

Super
The litter is very popular and lasts a long time. Also practical, as you can simply flush it down the toilet.

I am satisfied.
... but my cat wasn’t a fan at first. She preferred to pee on my bed rather than in the litter box. After that experience, I switched back to a different litter for a while. Now, I’ve started mixing the litters and gradually getting my cat used to CBÖP, which is working well. I agree with most of the positive opinions (efficiency and odour control), but also with the negative ones (dust and spreading around the flat). However, I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, so I’ll continue to buy CBÖP.

One man's joy...
I find it interesting how opinions differ so much, from "it stinks" to "odourless" or "clumps well" to "doesn't clump at all". I agree with the many positive reviews. On one point, though, I do agree with the critics: it is dusty.

Binds really well, but...
The beach effect is unfortunately guaranteed.
I’ve been using this litter for about 4 weeks now and I’m quite satisfied. It clumps very well, it only smells if you forget to remove the bombs in the evening (I remove them both in the morning and evening), and it’s definitely economical. The price is good for the quality.
Unfortunately, it spreads quickly throughout the entire flat, and you always end up with it stuck to your feet.
But a larger rug near the litter box keeps most of it contained. And if I have to choose: coarse litter that lasts but doesn’t scatter, or finer litter that doesn’t smell but ends up all over the flat, I’m happy to go with the latter :-)

sensitive cat paws
Love Cat's Best Öko Plus! I was already recommended this litter by the breeder and unfortunately have no experience with other types of litter. But when I read that some are apparently very hard, I always think about the sensitive paws of our little soft-footed friends! I've been using this litter for eight years now and honestly can't understand the many complaints about cat litter "flying around the whole flat." For us, it stays in the area around the litter box... and let's be honest, anyone who has a cat shouldn't be overly sensitive about cleanliness. Or has none of the complainers ever had to deal with cleaning up regurgitated hairballs or half-dead mice?! I find that much more disgusting than grabbing the vacuum cleaner and hoovering up some cat litter! I'm completely satisfied with Cat's Best Öko Plus and definitely won't be switching!

Super cat litter
I was recommended this cat litter two years ago, and I have to say, nothing else goes into my cat's litter box anymore except Cats Best. It's truly fantastic, and it lasts a long time.

Super economical
It's true that the cats carry this lightweight litter out of the tray. However, everything stays within a 50cm radius around the tray. It's quickly vacuumed up. Otherwise, there are only advantages. It doesn't smell artificial but rather a bit like sawdust. It's incredibly economical; it lasts about four times as long as other clumping litter. On top of that, it's affordable. My cats like it, and the clumps are very easy to scoop out without taking any of the still "good" litter with them. I'm absolutely thrilled and saving a lot of money.

It used to be better.
Cat's Best used to be the best litter for me (that was about 8 years ago), but now I have to say that it has completely changed (we have a cat again now). It's far too fine, and the mess around the toilet isn't great either. If it were like it used to be (larger), we would buy it again, but now we're looking for something better. Such a shame.

Super cat litter
After 9 years, I (we) have finally found the right cat litter. The only thing that's a bit annoying is that it's very lightweight and a lot gets dragged out of the litter box. But with a litter mat, it works out fine.

We are very satisfied.
I'm always very cautious when it comes to "trying something new," which is why I initially ordered the small pack. Now, however, I'll be ordering the large one because everything met our expectations.

Not for barefoot runners
It is indeed very economical, but the odour control leaves much to be desired. It gets stuck in the paws and spreads VERY well throughout the entire flat, as it gradually falls out of the paws due to its weight, generously distributing itself everywhere. And who wants to have to get the vacuum cleaner out after every trip to the toilet?

Simply brilliant!
The only downside: it kicks up a bit of dust when pouring. But compared to other cat litters, and I’ve tried quite a few over the past 12 years, it’s simply highly recommended!
