We are very satisfied.
I'm always very cautious when it comes to "trying something new," which is why I initially ordered the small pack. Now, however, I'll be ordering the large one because everything met our expectations.

Not for barefoot runners
It is indeed very economical, but the odour control leaves much to be desired. It gets stuck in the paws and spreads VERY well throughout the entire flat, as it gradually falls out of the paws due to its weight, generously distributing itself everywhere. And who wants to have to get the vacuum cleaner out after every trip to the toilet?

Simply brilliant!
The only downside: it kicks up a bit of dust when pouring. But compared to other cat litters, and I’ve tried quite a few over the past 12 years, it’s simply highly recommended!

are very satisfied
I've been using this litter for 3 years now and I'm very happy with it. My tomcat is too, of course. There's no smell of cats here, and the litter is very economical. I can only recommend it.

Not accepted...
After reading all the positive reviews, I decided to give this litter a try. It is definitely much, much lighter than bentonite litter and has a very pleasant smell. Unfortunately, my cats absolutely do not like this litter. They come up with the most adventurous ways to avoid setting a paw on it when urinating or doing anything else. As a result, nothing gets buried anymore, and everything stays on top, stinking. After a week, I had to replace it because my cats stopped using the litter box altogether. Sifting through the litter was also very tedious for me. It might have been because I didn’t have the right scoop for it. I’m used to Golden Grey Master or Extreme Classic, and unfortunately, this litter just doesn’t compare. On top of that, I was constantly sweeping up after my cats, which I didn’t find great. It’s clear that some litter always sticks to their paws, but this much... *shakes head*
For the smell (at least when freshly spread or buried) and the light weight, I’ll give it one point.

I'm thrilled, but...
... apparently not my cats!! I got my two (4 years & 14 weeks old) just at the beginning of last week. Once we got home, I immediately placed them in the litter box with CBÖP. They accepted it nicely – until they discovered the second box with EC, and since then, they haven’t gone back to the CBÖP box even once!!!
However, I think I’ll completely switch to CBÖP (they do use it if there’s no other option), because it simply has more advantages – it’s lightweight, cheaper, clumps really well (at least judging by the two clumps I scooped out *g*), and it has a pleasant smell. The EC starts to smell noticeably after just one week, even though I clean the toilet 2-3 times a day!!!
Both types of litter end up scattered around the boxes – that’s just how it is... But it only gets spread around the apartment by me when I step on it. ;-)
That said, I find CBÖP more pleasant in this regard too; with EC, I feel like I’m walking on a sandy beach...
Of course, I can’t really comment on how CBÖP performs in daily use – it’s simply not used enough for that.
Best regards,
Michaela

Very disappointing
Due to the very good reviews, I decided to give this litter a try, but unfortunately, I have to say that the negative aspects outweigh the positives. While the litter is super long-lasting, very economical, and clumps extremely well, that’s where the advantages end. Because it’s so lightweight, it sticks to the cats’ paws and fur, spreading throughout the entire flat, even into the furthest corners. Vacuuming twice a day is the bare minimum. On top of that, it produces an endless amount of dust. Yesterday afternoon, I cleaned my bathroom, and by this morning, there was already a thick layer of dust on all the shelves and objects again. The savings you make due to its efficiency are offset by the cost of cleaning supplies and the time spent cleaning – so I can’t give it a good recommendation.

Good cat litter!
We use this litter exclusively in our animal shelter, and so far all the cats have accepted it. The clumps are easy to remove, and it’s very economical. The only thing I have to criticise is the price. Cats Best has significantly increased its prices. Of course, Zooplus isn’t to blame for that. I can only praise Zooplus—the order was processed quickly, and the litter arrived bag by bag, extra packed. Brilliant! Not a single bag was damaged. I’m just waiting for the next special offer because €19.90 for a consumption of 2–3 bags per month is a lot of money, especially when you rely on donations. But as already mentioned—kudos to Zooplus.

The Best
The Öko Plus is truly the best cat litter available on the market. It doesn’t create dust, which is very important for me as an allergy sufferer. It clumps well, absorbs odours, is economical – simply ideal.
What bothered me a little was that, because it’s so lightweight, my sweet kitty managed to spread it all over the flat. However, thanks to a review on Zooplus, I took the suggestion of using a high-pile rug, and I’m thrilled. I’m sticking with it!

Had expected more!
The litter is quite dusty, and the clumps fall apart quickly. On top of that, the litter gets tracked through the entire flat on their little paws.

Just a small downside
The litter does what it promises. Good clumping, no odour, and easy to dispose of. However, the litter ends up spread across 140 square metres because it sticks to my Persian's paws and my American Curl's feathery tail. That does get a bit annoying.

Our cats like it.
Hello. I'm currently reading through all the reviews for various cat litters. What strikes me is that not a single litter delivers a clear result. Opinions are so divided that all the reviews are basically useless. I think I'll stick with Cat's Best Öko Plus because I'm actually quite satisfied with it. What bothers me, though, is the scattering of granules all over the place. But if you clean the litter box regularly, it doesn't smell at all, it's economical, and can be disposed of via the organic waste bin. I'm not sure if baby powder scent is really great for our cats. It's probably just meant to smell nice for us humans. But anyone who gets cats has to accept the occasional odour. Take it easy... On that note, have fun testing—I won't be testing anymore!

Initially thrilled
But unfortunately, after a two-month trial period, it no longer works. It spreads throughout the entire flat. We placed a bath mat as suggested in the tips, but it doesn’t help. We have two cats (well, it’s been three for a week now) and they’re almost always at home. The mat is cleaned regularly, but it doesn’t make a difference. We’re looking for another product that hopefully won’t stick to their paws as much.

Not so great.
I decided to give CBÖP a try since I’d only read positive things about it. After cleaning my little one’s litter box, I filled it up quite high with CBÖP. On the positive side, I have to say the litter is really lightweight and easy to carry. My cat also took to it well. But now for the problems. The litter ends up all over the flat. Sure, with other litters you’ll find bits here and there, but this is on another level! I might as well just dump the whole bag across the flat. And then there’s another major reason why I wouldn’t recommend it. I find the smell when it mixes with the cat’s urine absolutely disgusting. It clumps fairly well, but it stinks and sticks to the litter box (even with a high fill level). I can’t stand this smell any longer and will definitely switch back to my old litter. This was a total letdown.

Unfortunately, a downside.
After reading many positive reviews, I decided to buy this litter and would like to highlight the following pros and cons.
Pros:
- Good absorbency
- No odour
- Very economical
- Disposal via the toilet is hassle-free
Con:
- Sticks to paws (even with short-haired cats) due to its light weight and quickly spreads around the area in front of the litter box.

Finally!!
Even well-known litters like Catsan Ultra Clumping Litter and Biokats Baby Powder failed us! The whole flat constantly smelled of cat waste, and combined with the Biokats Baby Powder scent, it felt like being back at the changing table.
Finally, we found our litter with CÖBP. We have one cat, and the litter box is cleaned of clumps and all residues 1-2 times a day, and completely emptied about every 10 days. The best part is that you can easily flush the litter down a regular toilet. However, we only do this with the clumps, not the entire litter.
The litter has a slight wood scent and, most importantly, even when used, it doesn’t smell at all. Even "test sniffers" like neighbours and friends couldn’t detect anything. Simply brilliant!
We are very satisfied, and the price is actually reasonable. The 40-litre bag lasts more than 4 weeks.

Finally found one...
I previously used clumping litter that smelled like baby powder. With my new furry little ones, who are now 11 weeks old, I switched to a non-clumping litter with a baby powder scent and was really disappointed. It started to smell quite unpleasant after a short time, and the consumption was very high... Then I read about CBÖP here and in a cat forum and thought to myself, "Well, plant fibres, can't be that great." I was very sceptical, but when my friend also raved about it, I thought, okay, let's give it a try.
And lo and behold – simply brilliant. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now. Great handling, economical usage, no odour at all, excellent clumping (which, thankfully, the little ones don't care about), and no more overflowing rubbish bins.
We've found our clumping litter!

Best litter!
We tried various types for a long time (dm, Fressnapf, etc.) and were never really convinced. Either the litter clumped like crazy or the box reeked to high heaven after just three days. Cat's Best Öko Plus is brilliant. Super efficient, odourless, and wonderfully flushable down the toilet. I can only recommend this product to everyone. A 40-litre bag lasts for our young cat for 4 months. So it's also more economical compared to other cat litters.

Simply brilliant!!
We have a nearly 3-month-old kitten and chose this litter because of the many positive reviews.
I’ve just placed another order today because we’re simply thrilled with it.
It’s the cleanest thing in the world, as it prevents any unpleasant odours from forming.
As soon as my little one has done his business, I dispose of the litter directly via the toilet, and that’s that!
Hopefully, it stays this way because the price is reasonable too.

Recommendable litter
We have two cats. I can only recommend this litter. In almost all important areas [clumping, yield, odour control, disposal (compost/toilet), etc.], it’s excellent. The fact that cat litter generally spreads around the litter box can be considered normal, but the additional tendency of this litter, especially with long-haired cats, to spread around the house can be seen as a minor drawback. Due to the, in my opinion, unrivalled number of strong positives, I consider this litter highly recommendable. We will continue to use it long-term.
