I bought this cat litter in February and I’m thrilled. It’s a bit pricey, but the yield is incredible! My large bag is still more than half full; you hardly need to top it up. That means huge savings compared to other cat litters. It looks like the large bag will last me almost a year. At that point, the price is more than reasonable. I used to have Thomas clumping litter, and with the large bag, I barely managed 3 months. It’s the same quantity. All I can say is: unbelievable yield. Huge cost savings compared to other clumping litters, less waste—simply brilliant. I’m not buying anything else anymore!

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this litter. During a promotional period, we stocked up generously on this litter, and now we’re paying the price... The litter sticks nicely to the paws and is perfectly distributed across the entire flat by our three indoor cats. Vacuuming twice a day doesn’t help at all. When the litter gets wet, it turns into a disgusting slime, and cleaning it up is just such a joy. No, honestly, it’s really not great...

The litter is absolutely great, very efficient, clumps well and doesn’t smell. In the meantime, I tried a different litter, which was cheaper but couldn’t compare in terms of quality. Unfortunately, our pet shop is closing down, and this litter isn’t available in any other store. So I have to order it from Zooplus, because there’s no better litter out there.

I’ve tried various types of litter before and was curious about this one due to the good reviews. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it at all. While it’s eco-friendly, easy to carry, and clean, it has the following issues: - It doesn’t absorb odours at all, which quickly leads to a bad smell. - My cats found it suspicious, stopped covering their droppings, and even started peeing outside the litter box (this stopped once we switched back to our previous litter, so it was clearly due to Cat’s Best). - And the worst part: it scatters everywhere, much more than other litters. Even after washing, we found remnants stuck to our socks from the washing machine. Never again!!

We've been using this litter for over a year now and are absolutely thrilled with it. After some initial teething problems, I put a bit from the old litter box into it, and then my two little rascals approved and would only use the toilet with Cat's Best. Disposal is simple and clean, and there's never any smell in our home. Since we have a covered litter box, I can't complain about dust or too many crumbs either. The high price is offset by the long-lasting durability of a bag (for us, with two cats, it lasts an average of 4 months). I've been using this litter for my dwarf rabbits for a few months now! Since they only do their business in one corner, this clumping litter is perfect! Cleaning is quick, and besides, this stuff doesn't create as much dust as you get with wood shavings! There's also less waste! I'm thrilled!

I bought it right from the start because I really wanted something environmentally friendly, and I’m sticking with it :) The litter is economical, doesn’t smell, and can genuinely be disposed of via the toilet. Let me explain how it works since some people can’t quite imagine it ;) When my two cats pee, it’s initially a pretty liquid affair, but after about 5 to 10 minutes, it turns into a kind of gel. In my opinion, the litter first dissolves and then turns into gel, and as soon as this comes into contact with water in the toilet again, it almost completely dissolves. I’ve had no blockages in the toilet, nothing—it just disappears. Of course, during a big clean-up, I don’t dispose of the litter via the toilet; that would be too much, I think. But it does save me from having to lug around annoying bags. What others have said about it being carried around is true, especially since my two cats have long fur. But it still falls out of their fur after one or two metres, and when I clean the litter boxes, I just sweep up afterwards. It doesn’t create more work—probably even less than if I had to go outside or down to the basement to dispose of the waste ;) My conclusion: SUPER SUPER SUPER!

A really good, pleasantly scented litter with great environmental properties. It's also great that the clumps can be disposed of via the toilet. Good clumping behaviour. However, for cats with longer fur, it does tend to stick to their coat a bit, which makes it only partially recommendable for them. That's why only 4 stars!

Everything is just as described, my tomcat likes it too... :-) The price is right, there’s no smell, and it’s quick, tidy, and clean to dispose of.

Tried 1000 types of litter, 1000 times nothing happened. Put in CatŽbest once, and it worked like magic.

My furry friends and I have tried out quite a few cat litters, and we’ve never been as satisfied as we are with this one. It’s odour-binding, long-lasting, and so on – lots of great qualities that outweigh a few minor drawbacks. I’ve been using it for several years now and will never buy another litter again.

I recently bought this litter and tried it out, and I have to say, I've never had such bad litter before. After my cat did his business, the litter turned into a proper soggy mess in the tray. My cat refused to use the tray again after that – I had to switch straight back to Extreme Classic. It really is just the best.

The litter is great at neutralising odours! It forms small, light clumps that are easy to scoop out and flush down the toilet—no more lugging around bags, and the bin gets a break too! The only tiny downside is that the flakes are quite light and tend to get carried around easily, but I'd rather have these pellets on my feet than walking on clay ;-)

The litter has good absorbency and is quite economical, but my two cats prefer the regular harder litter that they can properly dig around in. Additionally, I find it annoying that the litter gets carried around the flat a lot because it’s so lightweight. A big plus, of course, is that the litter can be disposed of via the toilet!

Now only uses Cats Best Öko Plus. Probably because it’s not little stones that scratch their delicate paws, but soft litter instead. Regarding absorbency and odour control, I completely agree with the others. What’s the point of cheap cat litter that smells quickly and has to be completely replaced every day? I’ve tried many different types, but in the end, it’s NOT worth sacrificing really good cat litter for a cheaper option just because of the price. It doesn’t pay off.

I’m thrilled, and so is my tiger. The clumps are super easy to scoop up, and with a larger-holed scoop, the clean litter falls through nicely. Unfortunately, I don’t dare flush it down the toilet. So, I wrap it in newspaper and throw it in the bin. - However, the price is quite steep, which probably puts a lot of people off buying it.

The clumping is brilliant, hardly any odours, and super easy to dispose of... tried it once and never going back to anything else... ;-)

My cat and I are thrilled. Excellent clumping, no smell, and the best part... no more daily rubbish bags!!!! ;-)

My three ferrets are thrilled. It absorbs odours brilliantly even without being scratched over and never gets stuck in their fur. It doesn’t have any annoying smells of its own, and I can only recommend it.

...are all well and good, but please don’t forget that it’s always a subjective experience. My personal experience is as follows: My tomcats take to the litter very well. I’ve placed a “doormat” made of a fluffy fabric (available here under item number 36305.0) in front of the litter box, so the majority of the very lightweight litter stays on it and can be easily vacuumed or shaken off. They do track a little bit into the flat, but it’s minimal. My sweethearts are short-haired (Somalis), so no litter gets stuck in their fur except between their paws. The clumping ability is exactly what I expect from cat litter. The same goes for sifting out their “business results.” The odour control is good. Since I don’t change the litter too often, I also use an active odour binder for the litter box, which is also available here at zooplus. Disposal is wonderfully simple via the toilet or organic waste bin. For me and my circumstances, this litter is perfect, and I’m sticking with it.
