Cat's Best Clumping Litter
Simply brilliant! I received a product sample from Cat's Best and I'm absolutely thrilled. Unlike all other cat litters, there's genuinely no smell when the little tigers do their business. And the efficiency more than makes up for the price.
Simply recommendable!!!

Top-rated product
I’ve had cats for 15 years and have been using cat litter ever since. Naturally, I’ve tested everything on the market and have been absolutely convinced by this product for several years now. It’s my personal winner: very economical with maximum performance. And – it causes no skin or fur irritations, unlike clay-based products, which I’ve repeatedly noticed with my cats. Last but not least, it’s very environmentally friendly. Absolutely recommendable.

Various sprinkles tested
Hello everyone, I can only say that "Cat's Best" is truly – in my opinion – the best litter out there. The betonite litters are just extremely heavy in comparison and can only be disposed of via household waste. On recommendation, I tried the litters that look like round white crystals. Verdict: dreadful. The first two days were okay, but after a week (with 2 cats), the litter became really "slimy" (not from water but urine... inevitably), which also smelled accordingly. Dehner offers an eco-litter from their own brand. While it has the same properties as Cat's Best, it is, oddly enough, €2 more expensive than the well-known branded product. It's true that the litter is a bit dustier, but it's not *that* bad. I've placed a mat in front of the toilet for wiping paws, and then my little tigers walk over the bathroom rugs. By then, everything is pretty much off their paws, and the bathroom rugs can be quickly shaken out over the bathtub.
By the way: don't be put off if someone says they had a blockage in the toilet. It's never happened to me. You just need to wait a bit (around 5–10 minutes) before flushing. By then, the litter has absorbed enough water that it breaks apart on its own and can be flushed away more easily.

The best
Smell and clumping are great, our favourite

Never again
Unfortunately, it creates a lot of dust, clumps poorly, and gets spread all over the flat. I'll be switching back to Extreme Classic again.

Never again
This cat litter didn't work for us. It has a strange odour and starts to stink as soon as the furry friends have used it. Despite filling the litter box generously, it sticks to the bottom of the box – and to their paws – and was almost impossible to remove. The litter was completely replaced after just 5 days.

Cat litter
I've been using CatsBestÖkostreu for years and have only had good experiences with it. You can't smell it when my two indoor cats have done their business, nor does the litter bring any strange odours into my flat. Removing the clumps from the litter tray is also easy and clean, and nothing sticks particularly stubbornly to the walls or floor of the tray's base.

Worse quality
Until a few months ago, I was still happy with the litter. Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated significantly, and the entire bathroom was covered in dust, plus my cat constantly had watery eyes. Such a shame—I had to switch, and now I’m super satisfied. No dust.

Super good
The litter is very good and has several advantages for me:
- good value for money
- lightweight as it's made of wood
- can be disposed of via the toilet
- lasts a very long time without any odour
- very economical
- clumps well
- the cats love it
Only one negative point:
- strong dust effect.

Disappointing
At first, I was really impressed because it clumps very well and is incredibly economical. But the excitement didn’t last long, as it produces a terrible amount of dust and spreads lightning-fast throughout all the rooms in the flat as well as on the upholstered furniture. I don’t mind cleaning, but not several times a day. In any case, I’m glad the bag is finally empty.

Simply brilliant!
I bought this cat litter in February and I’m thrilled. It’s a bit pricey, but the yield is incredible!
My large bag is still more than half full; you hardly need to top it up. That means huge savings compared to other cat litters.
It looks like the large bag will last me almost a year. At that point, the price is more than reasonable. I used to have Thomas clumping litter, and with the large bag, I barely managed 3 months. It’s the same quantity. All I can say is: unbelievable yield. Huge cost savings compared to other clumping litters, less waste—simply brilliant. I’m not buying anything else anymore!

No, thank you - never again...
Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this litter. During a promotional period, we stocked up generously on this litter, and now we’re paying the price... The litter sticks nicely to the paws and is perfectly distributed across the entire flat by our three indoor cats. Vacuuming twice a day doesn’t help at all. When the litter gets wet, it turns into a disgusting slime, and cleaning it up is just such a joy. No, honestly, it’s really not great...

Review of Cats Best
The litter is absolutely great, very efficient, clumps well and doesn’t smell.
In the meantime, I tried a different litter, which was cheaper but couldn’t compare in terms of quality.
Unfortunately, our pet shop is closing down, and this litter isn’t available in any other store. So I have to order it from Zooplus, because there’s no better litter out there.

Super
We've been using this litter for over a year now and are absolutely thrilled with it. After some initial teething problems, I put a bit from the old litter box into it, and then my two little rascals approved and would only use the toilet with Cat's Best.
Disposal is simple and clean, and there's never any smell in our home. Since we have a covered litter box, I can't complain about dust or too many crumbs either.
The high price is offset by the long-lasting durability of a bag (for us, with two cats, it lasts an average of 4 months).
By the way, it only turns into mush if you don't put enough litter in the box!
I hope my opinion was helpful in some way!
Best regards, N.

Unfortunately, not convincing.
I’ve tried various types of litter before and was curious about this one due to the good reviews.
Unfortunately, I didn’t like it at all.
While it’s eco-friendly, easy to carry, and clean, it has the following issues:
- It doesn’t absorb odours at all, which quickly leads to a bad smell.
- My cats found it suspicious, stopped covering their droppings, and even started peeing outside the litter box (this stopped once we switched back to our previous litter, so it was clearly due to Cat’s Best).
- And the worst part: it scatters everywhere, much more than other litters. Even after washing, we found remnants stuck to our socks from the washing machine.
Never again!!

Also suitable for rabbits
I've been using this litter for my dwarf rabbits for a few months now! Since they only do their business in one corner, this clumping litter is perfect! Cleaning is quick, and besides, this stuff doesn't create as much dust as you get with wood shavings! There's also less waste! I'm thrilled!

Nothing else anymore
I bought it right from the start because I really wanted something environmentally friendly, and I’m sticking with it :)
The litter is economical, doesn’t smell, and can genuinely be disposed of via the toilet.
Let me explain how it works since some people can’t quite imagine it ;) When my two cats pee, it’s initially a pretty liquid affair, but after about 5 to 10 minutes, it turns into a kind of gel. In my opinion, the litter first dissolves and then turns into gel, and as soon as this comes into contact with water in the toilet again, it almost completely dissolves. I’ve had no blockages in the toilet, nothing—it just disappears. Of course, during a big clean-up, I don’t dispose of the litter via the toilet; that would be too much, I think. But it does save me from having to lug around annoying bags.
What others have said about it being carried around is true, especially since my two cats have long fur. But it still falls out of their fur after one or two metres, and when I clean the litter boxes, I just sweep up afterwards. It doesn’t create more work—probably even less than if I had to go outside or down to the basement to dispose of the waste ;)
My conclusion: SUPER SUPER SUPER!

Convincing environmental feature
A really good, pleasantly scented litter with great environmental properties. It's also great that the clumps can be disposed of via the toilet. Good clumping behaviour. However, for cats with longer fur, it does tend to stick to their coat a bit, which makes it only partially recommendable for them. That's why only 4 stars!

Top-notch
Everything is just as described, my tomcat likes it too... :-) The price is right, there’s no smell, and it’s quick, tidy, and clean to dispose of.
