The best litter on the market
I have tried many types of litter, and CBÖP is by far the best!
Clumps well and lasts a long time (even if not as perfect as fine bentonite litter), minimal tracking, no dust, and EXCELLENT ODOUR CONTROL.

Super Litter
I think the litter is absolutely brilliant. My two Maine Coons accepted it straight away without any fuss. Another plus is the odour control – the litter box doesn’t smell at all, and disposing of it via the toilet is really convenient. The only downside (and that’s why I’m only giving 4 stars) is that, because the litter is very lightweight, it tends to stick to paws and fur and ends up being spread around the flat more... well, at least it’s easy to vacuum up.

Finally, no more smelly flat!
Cats Best has completely won me over. I find it very economical, and the odour control is excellent. Admittedly, it does smell right after a big business has been done, leaving me wondering how such a small cat can produce something so smelly, but even that odour dissipates quickly. Cleaning it once a day is absolutely sufficient and very straightforward. Absolutely recommendable, and thanks to its efficiency, it’s not even that expensive in the long run...

Super cat litter also great for micro pigs
So far, this is the best litter I’ve tried – I think it’s brilliant, absolutely thrilled with it. I don’t need nearly as much of it as I do with regular cat litter.

Finally, it doesn’t smell anymore!
I've been trying out and searching for a litter for quite a while now, one that doesn't smell and is easy to handle. Now I've tried this litter, and only one word comes to mind: SUPER!
It doesn't stink, it doesn't create dust, it clumps really well, which makes cleaning super easy, and if you want, you can even dispose of it via the toilet. Brilliant!!!

The best thing I've tried so far
Our two indoor cats absolutely love this litter, and I’m thrilled that I no longer have to constantly fill up the bins with clumping litter. Instead, I can conveniently dispose of this litter via the regular household toilet.

There's nothing better! 10 years of experience with Cat's Best
...now I just have to add my two cents... After keeping cats for over 50 years (back then there wasn’t any cat litter, we had to get sawdust from the carpenter), and having tried pretty much every type of litter, I landed on Cat’s Best almost 10 years ago and have stuck with it ever since. I’ve always had a multi-cat household (at times up to 14 cats), currently 7 of various ages and breeds (including long-haired ones), some of them strays I’ve taken in, and at the moment I have 4 litter boxes. My cats are outdoor cats but still prefer to do their business in the litter box. I like the wood scent, and apparently, the cats do too. No other smells, unless a clump is left uncovered on top. People who complain about the smell should reconsider their feeding habits: if the food is “rubbish,” it smells like it too; with high-quality food, there’s hardly any odour. (Plus, the overall quantity is reduced since “good” food is better digested.) I mostly feed raw, so there’s hardly any smell at all. I clean the litter boxes twice a day to remove clumps (half a minute per box!), clean them once a week, and rarely change the litter. Once a week, I refill box 1 with fresh litter, sift the leftovers into box 2, then from box 2 to box 3, and so on. Strangely enough, box 4, with the crumbliest/mealiest and oldest litter, is the most popular. That litter (and all the clumps I’ve removed) goes to the compost heap after about 6 weeks, where it mixes with plant waste, leaves, and kitchen scraps to create wonderful natural fertiliser after about a year – perfect recycling! Of course, my “digging mice” sometimes scatter litter outside the box, but since I’ve placed small old rag rugs under the boxes, which can be thrown in the washing machine if needed, the crumbs stay “on the rug” and can easily be shaken out outdoors. Conclusion: All in all, the best litter I’ve ever had! Super economical: one 40L bag lasts me about half a year!!

There’s probably nothing better.
Hello,
I completely agree with the cat lady, I’m also very impressed. Of course, you often have to sweep, or when a tuna bomb is dropped, it stinks. When I got my first tomcat, I used a different cat litter once, but it ended up in the bin after two days. My two sweethearts share one litter box, which gets cleaned out twice a day, and that works perfectly. Soon, the third British Shorthair will join us :-)). Anyway, I’ve been using this litter for two years now and will 100% stick with it because it lasts a long time and is really good.
Best regards from Berlin

Not recommended!
I bought the litter two weeks ago and was initially somewhat satisfied with it.
It really smells very pleasant and natural, like wood shavings, and it also absorbs the smell of urine very well.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t mask the smell of "bigger business" at all. Even cleaning the litter box several times a day took significantly more time than with other types of litter.
The clumps are either very hard to spot or stick so firmly to the bottom that you end up breaking them into small pieces while endlessly scraping them out with the scoop, and even then, residues remain stuck to the bottom.
Unfortunately, during the complete cleaning of the litter box today, I had to realise that this litter is absolutely not suitable for litter boxes with textured bottoms.
The fine wood dust, made wet by urine, bonded so firmly to the bottom of the litter box that even after soaking for 12 hours, it couldn’t be cleaned. My two tomcats are now down one litter box, and I can only hope that this disaster doesn’t repeat itself with the other one.

The name says it all – it really is the best for the cat!
Years ago, I used to feed my neighbour's cats, who used Cat's Best litter. I liked it so much that I bought it for my two tomcats. Even my "holiday stand-in" was immediately convinced by the litter and has been using it for their own indoor cats ever since. The litter clumps excellently, making it very economical to use. It also absorbs odours really well. In terms of dust development, I don't see any advantages or disadvantages compared to most other litters. Unfortunately, it tends to spread quite far around the flat via the cats' paws – but the vacuum cleaner helps with that, which is already in daily use to tackle cat hair anyway.

Really great...
Since I started using this litter, my cat actually comes inside after hours of roaming outdoors just to do her business. Everything good that’s been said about this litter is absolutely true, and I can only echo the many positive reviews.

There’s nothing better.
We’ve been using Cat’s Best Öko Plus exclusively for years now, after many disappointing attempts with other litters. I have seven indoor cats of all ages, and they’re also far from impressed with other products.
If you’re having issues with odours from “number twos,” you might want to take a closer look at the food you’re feeding them. The fact that it sometimes creates dust or gets scattered outside the litter box is something I’m willing to accept, rather than dealing with that mushy mess from mineral-based litter in the box. Öko Plus composts beautifully and doesn’t harm the environment. That alone justifies the higher price, especially since its significantly better efficiency offsets the cost.
If you’re bothered by smells or mess (dust), you might want to reconsider whether you should have a pet at all...

I won’t be buying it again.
Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback, I decided to try this cat litter myself. I have three litter boxes and "converted" the one in the bathroom. Upon opening the package, I was greeted by a smell reminiscent of a "carpentry workshop." There's nothing inherently wrong with that (if you like it). I then slowly transferred the litter into the box. Afterwards, I had to rinse my eyes because there was fine wood dust in it (perhaps I made a mistake while filling it?). Okay... the litter was in place and ready for use. One of my cats refuses to use this box entirely. The other cat now prefers to do his business in the bathtub instead. Only the young cat uses it, albeit with bouts of sneezing. The litter isn't just scattered around the bathroom; you can find it in the hallway and other rooms as well. In the bathroom, there's a consistent layer of dust, and the smell in the room has now turned slightly sour.
Conclusion: I really don't understand how this product has received so many positive reviews.

My cats and I are absolutely convinced by this cat litter. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny.

And sometimes it does get dusty after all...
In the past, I couldn’t understand why some reviewers mentioned the high dust development. We’ve been using this litter for a long time, I’ve had at least 10 large bags and never had any issues with dust. But now I’ve ended up with one of those bags. Apparently, the filling varies, and for the last bags, only a litter-dust mixture is left. I’ll be ordering the small bags again now.

Very good, but it does create some dust.
I've been using this litter for some time now and I'm quite satisfied with it. However, I do see one downside: the dust. My two cats always dig as deep as possible, and this creates dust. It also gets dusty occasionally during cleaning. Over time, the clumps turn into powder, although this might be due to their extreme digging behaviour. The smell of faeces isn't well contained either, but to be fair, I've never found a litter that does this well. It's always smelled bad. As for the issue of tracking, I managed to solve it quite well with a fabric mat. You can get one here for €11. With a plastic mat, more litter gets carried out. All in all, I'm satisfied and will stick with it.

Absolute disaster!!!!!
We’ve only been using this litter for 5 days. Based on many positive reviews, I even bought the large bag. By day 2, I was already thinking about buying a different litter, and by day 5 (today), I actually did!
So, the downsides:
1. It creates dust when poured, but not excessively.
2. It smells awful throughout the entire flat, even when the cat hasn’t done anything.
3. The smell is absolutely catastrophic after the cat has done a poo. I feel like the faeces combined with the litter smells 10 times worse and spreads throughout the whole flat, as if I had 5 cats (I only have one, 6 months old)!!!
4. The litter gets spread all over the flat, even into the beds—literally EVERYWHERE!!! I have to vacuum several times a day!!!
5. When the cat pees, the urine flows all the way to the bottom before clumping (the litter box starts smelling after just 2 days). Conclusion: You have to dig deep and carefully scrape the clumps off the bottom.
6. The clumps are barely visible; it doesn’t take 3 minutes to clean the litter box like with normal litter, but a full 10 minutes to properly scoop and dig everything out.
7. The litter is very coarse-grained, which makes removing clumps difficult.
OK, now for the advantages… I don’t see any!!!
Stay away: expensive and bad, an absolute disaster!
