I’ve been using Cat's Best Öko Plus for over a year now. I was always quite impressed with the litter. What bothered me, though, was the relatively poor clumping, or rather how easily the clumps would fall apart. What I find particularly inconvenient is that my two cats carry the granules up the stairs with their paws, and you can see them lying around everywhere because their size (around 5 mm) and colour (light brown) make them very noticeable. I’m now using Extreme Classic and am absolutely thrilled with the good clumping (compared to Cat's Best Öko Plus). I think my cats like this litter too, as they seem to prefer Extreme Classic and hardly use the litter box with Cat's Best Öko Plus anymore. Unfortunately, the granules are very light, and the cats tend to scatter them over the edge with their paws, so there’s always quite a bit of litter spread around the litter box. Perhaps a larger litter box could help with this. The odour control with Extreme Classic is also much better. Another advantage: thanks to the good clumping, there’s less waste. ;-)

Well, I don’t know, maybe I just have expectations that are too high?! I came across this litter because the last one, while great in terms of spreading all over the bathroom, didn’t clump properly and started to stink terribly quite quickly. Now, the Best Öko Plus clumps really well, and as long as the lids are on, the smell is kept nicely under control. But I end up with this stuff spread all over the flat every day because it’s so lightweight. Oh well. It’s true that the litter left in the tray doesn’t smell quickly, but what you scoop out is pretty borderline in terms of odour. Despite the downsides, I’m still the most satisfied with this litter so far. You can clean the tray without much mess (it doesn’t stick anywhere, the clumps hold together...) and the fact that you can dispose of it via the toilet makes everyday life so much easier. Hence, 4 stars.

I decide to buy this product, because my favorite litter was out of stock. Till I bought this product my experiments with buying new product was sucessful. Before I decided to buy this product I read most of reviews. Over 60 - five star super reviews. And BIG dissapointment. Before I start using this litter my house was lovely clean, now? Mess everywhere. Litter bits sticks everywhere, cat's spread bits allover my house. I foud this litter bits on the carpets, tiles, stairs even stick to my cats fur. I just can't understand how this product could get so many 5 star reviews? Why others users are so delighted when for me is real nightmer? I wouldn't buy again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When they wee it clumps into a ball and dries everything out. I was so impressed by the small 5L bag that I have now bought the 40L - I have a huge cat litter box so it needs about 6L to fill it to a suitable depth but this bag will last for months as you only have to throw away the soiled bits. Amazing. I can't see that I will ever need to look elsewhere for cat litter. Oh, and it's flushable too, although I haven't been doing that, but it's good to know.

I've been buying this product for 3 years now and I'm completely satisfied with it. My kitties accepted it without any fuss and actually like using it. It clumps brilliantly, making it super easy to dispose of, as it can be flushed straight down the toilet, saving you the hassle of lugging heavy bags to the bin. Thanks to the clean removal of clumps, the 40-litre bag lasts me ages – very economical – which really adds up over the year compared to other products. Regarding the "odour problem" that some people complain about: clean it out twice a day – then it's fine, and maybe consider switching to a different type of food? As for sweeping up the bits that always end up outside the box – I've got that under control now: just fill the litter box a bit less. I think the product is fantastic – my cats do too – and I wouldn't use anything else ever again :)

I’m absolutely thrilled with this litter! Once you remove the droppings, there’s absolutely no smell, even after weeks. The clumping is excellent, making it easy to remove urine as well. A big plus is that the litter can be disposed of in the organic waste bin. However, I wouldn’t recommend flushing it down the toilet—the financial damage if it causes a blockage would be far too high. Better not to take any risks. From now on, I’ll only be buying this litter. At first glance, it seems quite expensive, but a 40-litre bag lasts at least 5 months. Simply brilliant—based on my experience, there’s no better litter out there!

I have to say I am extremely satisfied with this cat litter!! It has a very pleasant smell, slightly like wood shavings, and even with the strongest-smelling little piles from my kitty, it doesn’t lose its woody scent! The only negative thing to mention would be that, despite having a mat in front of the litter box, it gets carried around the flat. But I’m happy to put up with that, knowing it binds odours well and, most importantly, is very well accepted by my cat.

I bought the 40L pack of this due to the excellent reviews but was very disappointed, it ends up all over the house because it sticks to their feet! It does soak up urine very well and is easy to clean but there's too much ends up on the floor and creates more work.

We tried one type of litter after another and always got the same result: it smelled quickly and often didn’t clump well. Even very expensive and well-known brands were dusty and smelled bad, even though I clean out the clumps several times a day. Now I’ve tried CBÖP and I’m completely satisfied. The only downside: it spreads around the bathroom because the cats carry a lot of it out, despite having a toilet with a lid and flap. But let’s be honest... my bathroom smells pleasant again, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable, and a 40-litre bag lasts me a full two months with two cats. I’m more than happy to accept having to grab the dustpan and broom 2–3 times a day to quickly sweep it up. One minute and it’s all done, including disposing of the clumps in the toilet. It really doesn’t get any easier or better than this. If some people say it doesn’t clump well or the clumps fall apart easily, I don’t know what their cats are doing, because I stir quite vigorously in the toilet to make sure I don’t miss anything, and everything still holds together. Never again anything else!!!! CBÖP is now indispensable in our household!

Previously, I used cheap cat litter from the supermarket and was absolutely disgusted when cleaning the litter box because the scoop would always get smeared, and the clumps kept falling apart! Cat's Best Öko Plus is simply amazing!!! The litter itself is low-odour, it doesn’t stink for long when my cats do their business, the clumps stay intact and don’t fall apart, and the scoop stays almost always clean! I don’t need to test any other litters anymore—I’ve already found the best one :)

I tried this litter after my usual reliable one wasn’t available. But I’ll be switching back straight away. It clumps terribly, is difficult to clean unless you throw away half of the good litter along with it, and it leaves an unbelievable mess all over the house. The only thing deserving of a star is the odour control – that’s genuinely good.

I’m completely positively surprised by this litter! My two furry friends like it too! And it’s just so practical that you can simply flush it down the toilet. That way, the stench is gone from the flat once and for all!!! And in my opinion, that’s worth its weight in gold. I can only confirm what others are saying: What’s written on the packaging is absolutely 100% true.

The litter clumps well, and with a bit of finesse, the clumps can be removed easily. The odour control works better than with most types. However, unfortunately, the litter is not practical as it ends up spreading throughout the entire flat in no time.

I bought this on recommendation because I recently got kittens, and it was supposed to be safe for the little ones. That’s true, but... the babies don’t want to use it, they go next to it instead. It doesn’t clump properly, and when it gets wet, it falls apart, making it hard to remove the mess. And the worst part: IT’S EVERYWHERE.

I have two cats and have been using this litter for a week now. It clumps very well, there's no smell, and it's very lightweight. The litter has a pleasant scent. There's also no more spillage than with other litters. I dispose of the solid waste in the toilet, and the rest goes into the organic waste bin. Flushing everything down the toilet feels too risky to me because of the risk of blockages. My cats and I are sticking with this litter. At first glance, it seems expensive, but the price-performance ratio is fair, as I roughly calculated it compared to other litters.

I can only say, IT IS and REMAINS the BEST CAT LITTER ever!! Odour control – VERY GOOD, Absorption capacity – VERY GOOD, Longevity – VERY GOOD (I only need 4 bags a year), Appearance and smell – VERY GOOD, Value for money – VERY GOOD!! Regarding the prejudices of my predecessors here, there is NO cat litter that doesn’t get scattered out of the toilet (when the cat digs or jumps out)!! It would have to be made of concrete for that!! Point 2: If you have more than one litter box and/or want to switch your cats to a new litter, you should fill ALL the boxes with the new litter and not just one (otherwise, the cats will logically only go to the litter they already know). Cats are creatures of habit, but they can adapt – some adjust immediately, while others need a bit of time and maybe a few tricks. Cats are like children: "If I don’t know it, I don’t want it." But once you’ve tried it, everyone will be happy!! Give it a go, you’ll be AMAZED!!

Since we unfortunately had bad experiences with the silica litter, we decided to try Cats Best. At first, the price is a bit off-putting, but since the 10-litre bag lasted for 3 weeks with 2 cats, it turned out to be quite economical. Disposing of it in the household toilet is very convenient. The only slightly annoying thing is that the loose litter gets scattered in front of the litter box, even though it has a cat flap.
