Really brilliant!!
I've been using Öko Plus for a year now. After trying out a few other recommended litters, we decided to stick with Öko Plus. Not only is it eco-friendly, but you can also dispose of it in the toilet, which saves a ton of organic waste in the bin. My tomcat loves it too. He scratches and digs like crazy. Sweeping it up is super easy as well. Unlike other litters, it doesn’t stick to the dustpan but actually gets swept away properly.
This litter is simply brilliant!
Thank you, zooplus :)

Totally thrilled!
I used to always use the Smart Packs from Catsan. I only came across this clumping litter by chance, and now I wouldn’t want to be without it. The base litter actually lasts 4-6 weeks without smelling, and the absorbency is truly phenomenal! Buy, buy, buy :)

Great if you want to flush - but flush one scoop at a time
I thought I would give this a try mainly as you can flush it down the loo, oops somehow my daughter managed to actually block the loo and I had to get a coat hanger and help it go down, luckily it did go down but we were extra careful after to flush after each scoop. Its great IF you only have one litter tray and its right near the loo, otherwise you end up walking to and from the loo with scoops of soiled cat litter. So if you want this litter because you want to flush it then get it, its great BUT if youre binning it then Id get the extreme classic as it smells better and doesnt leave litter everywhere.

2 cats
For two cats, this litter is not suitable as it starts to smell strongly after just three days.

Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter
Our cat "Happy" is now one year old, and at first, we used litter from the DIY store. It was very heavy and didn’t form proper clumps, and the edges of the litter tray were constantly stuck with residue. A few weeks ago, we tried Cat's Best Öko Litter and are absolutely thrilled – and so is the cat. Cleaning the litter tray is no longer a problem; the litter forms excellent clumps, making it very easy to remove. There’s no odour, and the large bag is much lighter. The transition was no issue for "Happy" either. We can truly recommend this product!!!

Cat from the hayloft
Our No. 5, that's the name of our new feline addition, was raised by me along with her four siblings in the hayloft. As the wildest of the bunch, I couldn't find her a home because she simply wouldn't become tame, despite hours of gentle persuasion and tasty food. It was only when she was on her own that things suddenly changed. But what to do? She would only let me touch her. So, after a family council...
No. 5 is moving in with us. But will it work with the dog?
(Aussie female dog) Well, everything turned out fine, and thanks to her Cat’s Best Öko Plus cat litter, she’s been a clean cat from the very first minute.

Best cat litter of all time!
The litter box stays spotless for weeks, with not the slightest hint of odour in the flat, even though the cat does its business several times a day. Apart from the fact that the litter tends to stick slightly to longer fur, I can’t find any drawbacks, especially since it’s significantly more cost-effective than so-called budget litter. The base filling only needs to be thrown away in exceptional cases, like severe diarrhoea or similar, otherwise, it can be used down to the very last crumb. Moreover, it clumps perfectly. Simply tilt the box slightly so the clean litter falls to one side, scoop out the clumps with a solid shovel, and flush them down the toilet. Even if there’s only a small amount of litter left in the box or it’s mixed with non-clumping litter, it still binds odours excellently. Where other clumping litters turn into concrete at the bottom of the box, this one can almost always be removed as if from a non-stick Teflon pan. This litter has an incredible number of advantages and honestly deserves more than 5 stars!

simply the best!
I thought this litter was more expensive than most - but it really outlasts all the others,so works out far cheaper. It cuts down smells too. There is a bit of scattering but no worse than other litters, big thumbs up.

Tracking isn't the best but for value, clumping & natural smell minising it's the best
see title.
Have been buying it for years & won't use anything else (ok I stretch it with value Fullers Earth sometimes but that's it)

The cat categorically refuses :(
Well, if it were just about my impression, I would have given 5 stars: super lightweight litter, very pleasant wood scent, naturally biodegradable, clumps well – but in this case, my cats' opinion is what matters, and for them, the product was a complete flop. They weren’t thrilled from the start, but since we had only ever used (different types of) clay litter before, I thought they just needed time to get used to it. Quite the opposite: even though we have two jumbo litter boxes for two cats, which are cleaned regularly, both were almost horrified after just a few days whenever they had to use the toilet, quickly darting in and out. After a week, my tomcat decided to leave his solid (thank goodness, only those!) deposits on the laminate floor. We tried mixing it with the old litter for a while, but it didn’t help. Ever since we switched back to clay litter, everything has been fine for them. Maybe it’s different if cats are used to wood litter from the start or are outdoor cats. For us, unfortunately, it doesn’t work at all :(

THE BEST!!!!!!!!!
I will never ever ever buy any other litter again!
This is the first litter that actually DOESN’T stink! It constantly smells like fresh wood shavings! Clumps really well (very freshly made clumps might fall apart a bit, but you can sift them out).
There’s no foul smell in the flat, like you often get with artificial litter! It’s the best litter I’ve ever had!

Another Convert
I have to admit, I was a little sceptical. A plant based (wood looking) cat litter that clumps?
I've always prefered the plant/wood based litters as the odour of the tray always seems to be much better absorbed by them. However, the dust that got trampled around the house once the litter started to disintegrate drove me mad.
But this one actually does clump (& better than most clay based clumping litters too!) meaning that all the smellies can be removed from the tray with a scoop & flushed down the loo.
One week in and the litter tray smells just as fresh as the day it was cleaned out & this litter put in, so I can well believe the claims on the bag that the litter only needs changing every 4-6 weeks.
As for the tracking issue that other reviewers have mentioned, I've not noticed that it is any worse than any other litter. So, a big thumbs up from me.

Eco Plus not for Norwegians
Based on the many positive reviews, I decided to try Cat's Best Öko Plus.
I have two Norwegian Forest cats, and they spread the litter all over the flat. I think it's because this litter is so lightweight that it sticks to their long fur and ends up being scattered everywhere. The wooden smell mixed with urine isn't exactly pleasant either.
I definitely won't be buying it again and will continue my search for the best cat litter.

My favourite
I've been using it for *moment-thinking* has it been 10 years already? Oh well, since it first hit the market anyway. It crumbles terribly, you end up with it all over the house, but a cordless vacuum cleaner installed next to the litter box sorts that out straight away. There was a time when it used to create a lot of dust, but after informing the manufacturer, that issue was resolved too. The most important advantage for me: you can really use it down to the very last crumb – it's extremely economical, and with four cats of my own, that definitely makes a difference to the budget. The most urgent requirement for litter is the smell. CatsBest simply doesn't smell, even with continuous use... if someone saw me doing a "smell test" at the litter box again, they'd probably lock me up *chuckle* but I hate it when visitors can smell right at the front door that there are cats in the house... Several attempts with other brands have always brought me back to using CatsBest, and now nothing else comes into the house.

Even great for rodents!
Unfortunately, my young male rats aren't as clean as my girls used to be and pee all over the cage. So, I decided to give bedding a try. This one is honestly the best so far. I can remove the clumps, and it does an amazing job of controlling the smell from my little stinkers. What's also very important to me is that it can be disposed of on the compost.

Very good for allergies
One of my three indoor cats has several allergies. So far, she can only tolerate this litter. Strangely enough, I have to completely change it every 7 days, otherwise the allergy starts up again. Once it's completely fresh, the allergic rash disappears immediately.
Overall, I think it's really great.

The best cat litter ever
I’ve had cats for almost 15 years and have tried nearly every cat litter brand on the market. Not a single other brand has impressed me as much as this one. It has a pleasant wood scent, the cats accepted it immediately, and it clumps only where it’s supposed to. It’s super efficient, and you don’t smell anything from the waste. What absolutely convinced me was the disposal via the toilet. Finally, I don’t have to buy plastic bags anymore, and our rubbish bin is only half as full. I’m also saving money because the 40-litre bag lasts a very long time, and I only need to top up a small amount of litter.
For me, it’s clear: NEVER again will I use another cat litter!
