I accidentally ordered this litter a second time. That was the last time! Luckily, I chose the smallest amount (10 litres), and it only lasted me a week! I do have two cats, but my Ginny only uses the regular litter box for "number two"; for urinating, she uses a separate one lined with kitchen and toilet paper. Second point: This litter is quite dusty and smells strongly of wood dust. I experience breathing problems when cleaning the toilet and simply cannot tolerate this litter. Third: It’s very coarse and nowhere near as efficient as a fine clumping litter. Fourth: The litter forms a proper cardboard-like layer on the bottom of the toilet, which becomes almost impossible to scrape off after a while. My conclusion: Absolutely not recommended! On the other hand, Biocats Micro is excellent! I managed to make a 10-litre bag last a whole 4 weeks! More on that there.

I've been using this cat litter for some time now for my two ferrets and I'm completely satisfied. I just feel better about using a plant-based litter, especially when it comes to accidental ingestion. I also love that I can simply throw it onto my compost heap. Perfect!

It doesn’t smell anymore. The clumping is great. My cat accepted it straight away. The only downside: it spreads around the flat very quickly. However, the other points are more important to me, so it still gets 5 stars :-)

My daughter's comment about the litter: "Mum, it doesn't smell anymore." And I can only agree with that and will stick with this litter. The litter itself has a pleasant scent, it's long-lasting because it binds so well, and our two little ones (5-month-old tomcats) like it too. So, what more could you want?

I’ve had four cats for many years now and have tried out lots of different cat litters. After just a few days – even with daily cleaning – they all smelled bad. But this litter is completely different. Even after weeks of use, there’s no smell at all. Instead, the litter trays give off a lovely woody scent – absolutely brilliant!! Myself, Timothy, Nepomuk, Luna, and Mohrle are all just so happy. We’re all agreed: we’ll never use anything else again! ;-)

The litter isn’t suitable for two cats? I have three cats and ONLY use this litter! No problems, super efficient, odour-binding, and it’s very well accepted. By far the BEST cat litter!

I’ve been buying Cat’s Best Öko cat litter for three months now and I’m very satisfied. There’s no smell in the flat from the litter tray. I’ll stick with this cat litter.

There's nothing better! Odour formation is practically non-existent, and the litter is very economical. I have one cat, and one bag lasts for many weeks. It smells pleasantly of wood and, unlike clay clumping litter or others, is totally lightweight and doesn’t create any dust!! Another bonus is that the litter doesn’t stick or smear on the floor at all—you can use it right down to the last bit and then simply dispose of it via the toilet. Absolutely brilliant!!!!

We have 5 cats who especially use the litter box in winter. With Cat's Best ÖkoPlus, we've had the very best experience: no odours, and the cats are very happy to use it. Nothing else is going in the litter box anymore!

My little mice and I are absolutely thrilled with this cat litter! Finally, a litter that keeps the flat smelling fresh even after 2 weeks. Disposing of it via the toilet works perfectly as well. For larger clumps, I always pour a bit of water over the litter first before flushing properly. So... two thumbs up!!

I've been using Öko Plus for a year now. After trying out a few other recommended litters, we decided to stick with Öko Plus. Not only is it eco-friendly, but you can also dispose of it in the toilet, which saves a ton of organic waste in the bin. My tomcat loves it too. He scratches and digs like crazy. Sweeping it up is super easy as well. Unlike other litters, it doesn’t stick to the dustpan but actually gets swept away properly. This litter is simply brilliant! Thank you, zooplus :)

Before I discovered this litter 5 years ago, I was really unhappy with the odours coming from the cat litter box. For the past 5 years, I’ve been using Cat’s Best and I’m just completely satisfied. It absorbs moisture and the odours have significantly decreased. In the meantime, we were gifted a pack of a different litter. Of course, we used it, but we were grateful to be able to switch back to Cat’s Best :-)

I used to always use the Smart Packs from Catsan. I only came across this clumping litter by chance, and now I wouldn’t want to be without it. The base litter actually lasts 4-6 weeks without smelling, and the absorbency is truly phenomenal! Buy, buy, buy :)

I thought I would give this a try mainly as you can flush it down the loo, oops somehow my daughter managed to actually block the loo and I had to get a coat hanger and help it go down, luckily it did go down but we were extra careful after to flush after each scoop. Its great IF you only have one litter tray and its right near the loo, otherwise you end up walking to and from the loo with scoops of soiled cat litter. So if you want this litter because you want to flush it then get it, its great BUT if youre binning it then Id get the extreme classic as it smells better and doesnt leave litter everywhere.

Our cat "Happy" is now one year old, and at first, we used litter from the DIY store. It was very heavy and didn’t form proper clumps, and the edges of the litter tray were constantly stuck with residue. A few weeks ago, we tried Cat's Best Öko Litter and are absolutely thrilled – and so is the cat. Cleaning the litter tray is no longer a problem; the litter forms excellent clumps, making it very easy to remove. There’s no odour, and the large bag is much lighter. The transition was no issue for "Happy" either. We can truly recommend this product!!!

Our No. 5, that's the name of our new feline addition, was raised by me along with her four siblings in the hayloft. As the wildest of the bunch, I couldn't find her a home because she simply wouldn't become tame, despite hours of gentle persuasion and tasty food. It was only when she was on her own that things suddenly changed. But what to do? She would only let me touch her. So, after a family council... No. 5 is moving in with us. But will it work with the dog? (Aussie female dog) Well, everything turned out fine, and thanks to her Cat’s Best Öko Plus cat litter, she’s been a clean cat from the very first minute.

The litter box stays spotless for weeks, with not the slightest hint of odour in the flat, even though the cat does its business several times a day. Apart from the fact that the litter tends to stick slightly to longer fur, I can’t find any drawbacks, especially since it’s significantly more cost-effective than so-called budget litter. The base filling only needs to be thrown away in exceptional cases, like severe diarrhoea or similar, otherwise, it can be used down to the very last crumb. Moreover, it clumps perfectly. Simply tilt the box slightly so the clean litter falls to one side, scoop out the clumps with a solid shovel, and flush them down the toilet. Even if there’s only a small amount of litter left in the box or it’s mixed with non-clumping litter, it still binds odours excellently. Where other clumping litters turn into concrete at the bottom of the box, this one can almost always be removed as if from a non-stick Teflon pan. This litter has an incredible number of advantages and honestly deserves more than 5 stars!
