Test verdict: Very good!!!
After trying out various types of litter, we’ve finally settled on Öko Cats and won’t be switching again. The price-performance ratio is excellent! I have two indoor cats who share a jumbo-sized litter box, and there’s absolutely no odour. The used litter is super easy to remove from the box. We’re all happy!

Not as great as reviews
After reading how great the reviews for this product were, we bought a large bag for our 2 cats that share 1 box. It does not cover the smell as well as some other brands we have used. It goes everywhere too! I think it is because the litter is too light. Maybe my cats "kick" it too hard thus it went all around outside of their box and it stuck on their paws too. Will not try this again. Sorry!

Super cat litter, also suitable for dogs.
I think the litter is really great. I've ordered the large 40-litre bag now for the second time. It lasts me 3 months for 3 litter boxes.
My dog, who has been familiar with the litter box since she was a puppy from the breeder, takes to the litter very well. I used to always buy Dog Best, but I have to say it's the same litter, and the Cat's Best 40-litre bag is much cheaper. Of course, my two tomcats also like the litter. The litter lasts a long time, about 14 days for sure, and since you can clean it well (remove the urine), the litter box always looks clean.
At the end, when I refill the litter boxes, there's not much litter left because you can easily dispose of it in the household toilet.
I can only recommend it!

Super!
After our move in March, we had to set up the cat litter boxes in the bathroom due to space constraints. This led to the whole flat smelling like a litter box, despite cleaning them twice a day. The stench practically hit you in the face as soon as you walked through the door :P
By chance, I heard about Cat's Best Öko Plus and decided to give it a try.
The first pleasant surprise was the nice wood scent (personally, I really like this smell). I also immediately noticed how incredibly lightweight the litter is, which was another positive.
I can't agree with the claim that this litter is extremely dusty. In my opinion, it doesn't produce more or less dust than other litters.
My cats accepted the litter without any issues. The amount they track out of the box with their paws is no more than with the litter I used before.
Conclusion: a fantastic litter, clumps well, smells good (except, of course, during "number twos"), and is super easy to dispose of in the toilet. And the absolute best part – the flat smells nice again! :)

Good litter, but not for my tigers!
I tried this litter on the recommendation of a staff member at the pet shop and have to say, there are clear advantages:
1.) super lightweight!
2.) very economical
3.) (theoretically) disposable in the toilet or compostable
4.) wood scent.
However, I must unfortunately say that my indoor cats absolutely refused to cover up their messes with this litter, which led to it smelling quite quickly despite good odour control, so I decided to stop using it.
Additionally, the wood scent is probably not to everyone's taste. Such a shame.

Super bedding
Tried this litter on the recommendation of my friend and I’m absolutely thrilled with it. It’s biodegradable, can be disposed of in the toilet, which means less waste, the clumps are super easy to remove, and it’s incredibly long-lasting. I don’t need nearly as much litter as I did before. My cats took to it straight away – and they’re very picky :-))

Super cat litter
I’m absolutely thrilled. I’ve been using this cat litter for almost half a year now. It’s very economical (lasts about 1.5 months), doesn’t smell, and clumps brilliantly. I can only recommend it to everyone.

Very good cat litter
I use this cat litter for three indoor cats and can only say that it absorbs odours well, usually forms very solid clumps, and it’s simply convenient to be able to dispose of it via the toilet. I will continue to use it, especially since the three cats don’t track much of it out of the litter box on their paws. Besides, you can quickly sweep up any crumbs in front of the litter box.
The only downside is the slightly inconsistent quality. Most of the time, the litter clumps well and doesn’t produce much dust when pouring it in. However, every now and then, the litter is very crumbly and falls apart quickly when scooping it out. For this reason, I’ve deducted one point. But that’s no reason not to keep using it. It’s the best and easiest litter I’ve had in 20 years of living with cats.

1 A cat litter
Hello everyone... My review of the cat litter is more than positive. It was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm glad I bought it. The clumping is very good, and the odour control is also excellent—finally, a litter that doesn’t start smelling unpleasant after just three days. In my opinion, litter scattered in front of the toilet is unavoidable; I’ve experienced this with every litter so far. My tomcat accepted the litter from day one without any major issues, which I personally see as another plus point. All in all, top-notch :)

Terrible...
I can't find anything good about this litter. My cats track it all over the flat because it sticks to their paws, it creates a lot of dust when pouring it in, and after just a week it already smelled terrible, even though I clean the litter box twice a day. But the absolute worst part is that my cat started pooping next to the litter box. That only changed after we switched to a different litter.

Super good
We only ever buy this now!!
Even though you don’t need to buy it often, as it lasts so long.
My friend is now trying out the purple-gold one :-) Let’s see if pellets are better. In any case, the litter smells wonderfully of fresh sawdust.
Brilliant!!!

Best cat litter
Hello dear cat owners,
After a long search, I’ve finally found a cat litter that meets all the requirements.
My tomcat loves it, it’s super absorbent, and even the fully soaked clumps smell very neutral, more like wood.
The 40-litre bag lasted me almost 7 months, and I have 3 litter boxes spread around the house :-)
I have nothing negative to report. If a grain ends up outside the litter box, that’s something I’ve experienced with all litters so far.
I’ll keep buying it again and again!!!

Very great. Also suitable for the rabbit toilet.
The best bedding I’ve ever used. It reliably absorbs everything. It perfectly neutralises odours. Plus, it’s great that you can clean it up somewhat in between with the scoop for clumps. It saves money and bedding.
Highly recommended. Also, thanks to Zooplus for having it on offer so often.

It really is the best.
This litter clumps amazingly well - better than any other clumping litter I've ever used. It lasts much longer because you only remove what's actually been soiled, and bonus points for being able to flush it down the toilet. The odor control is very good too. Yes, it tracks a bit more than Catsan, but the long-term economics, ease of use and the odor control more than make up for the extra hoovering.

Litter all over the flat
The biggest drawback is that the litter gets spread all over the flat. We can hardly walk around barefoot or in socks anymore because it constantly pricks underfoot. My tomcat visits the two litter boxes quite frequently, so I can’t keep up with vacuuming.
Such a shame, as I really liked the eco-friendly concept.
On top of that, other clumping litters are terribly heavy, so I was hoping this one would be a bit easier to handle. But now I’m just glad the bag is almost empty. I’ll have to look for something else now. What a pity.

Super cat litter - highly recommended
I’m so glad to have finally found a good cat litter. It doesn’t stink, is economical, and lasts a long time. I’m not an eco-warrior and was sceptical just because of the name. This litter was recommended to me by a saleswoman, and I decided to be brave and let my two tomcats try it out. Absolutely brilliant! It smells like fresh wood, no harsh urine odour. You can easily dispose of the clumps via the toilet. It’s easy to clean, and for me, the clumps don’t fall apart like some people claim here. A 40-litre bag lasts several months with two cats!!! If the quality doesn’t change, I won’t buy any other litter again.

Not really good
Unfortunately, this litter is absolutely terrible. It doesn't clump well; instead, it forms strange fibrous "clumps" that crumble apart, and it smells so unbearably disgusting after just one day that I even gagged this morning just walking past the litter box. Really not great at all... I had hoped for much more.

Excellent.
Finally got around to testing this litter and I think it's absolutely brilliant. The smell is fresh, it doesn’t stink of urine, flushing it down the toilet works perfectly, and my tomcat has accepted it too.
The only issue with my furry friend is, I don’t know why, but he’s been coming out of his toilet dirtier more often since we started using it, as if he’s sitting back down on his wee every time...

Wow this is saving us a fortune and saving our noses!
We bought a 40l bag for our two cats 2 months ago and we are still using it now - with Catsan we would have been through an enormous quantity by now. As this clumps so well and smells nice we are only throwing away what has really been used rather than throwing lots away in an attempt to make sure you get rid of all the smell.
Being able to flush it is also a great as it means the smell is gone straight away without taking a trip outside. Only thing to watch is to make sure you dont flush too much at a time - but that is pretty obvious really!
My partner was very sceptical about getting clumping litter, and flushing it down the loo but he commented this morning how much money we must have save compared to Catsan + Litter Locker bags.
