The best bedding I’ve ever used. It reliably absorbs everything. It perfectly neutralises odours. Plus, it’s great that you can clean it up somewhat in between with the scoop for clumps. It saves money and bedding. Highly recommended. Also, thanks to Zooplus for having it on offer so often.

This litter clumps amazingly well - better than any other clumping litter I've ever used. It lasts much longer because you only remove what's actually been soiled, and bonus points for being able to flush it down the toilet. The odor control is very good too. Yes, it tracks a bit more than Catsan, but the long-term economics, ease of use and the odor control more than make up for the extra hoovering.

The biggest drawback is that the litter gets spread all over the flat. We can hardly walk around barefoot or in socks anymore because it constantly pricks underfoot. My tomcat visits the two litter boxes quite frequently, so I can’t keep up with vacuuming. Such a shame, as I really liked the eco-friendly concept. On top of that, other clumping litters are terribly heavy, so I was hoping this one would be a bit easier to handle. But now I’m just glad the bag is almost empty. I’ll have to look for something else now. What a pity.

I’m so glad to have finally found a good cat litter. It doesn’t stink, is economical, and lasts a long time. I’m not an eco-warrior and was sceptical just because of the name. This litter was recommended to me by a saleswoman, and I decided to be brave and let my two tomcats try it out. Absolutely brilliant! It smells like fresh wood, no harsh urine odour. You can easily dispose of the clumps via the toilet. It’s easy to clean, and for me, the clumps don’t fall apart like some people claim here. A 40-litre bag lasts several months with two cats!!! If the quality doesn’t change, I won’t buy any other litter again.

Unfortunately, this litter is absolutely terrible. It doesn't clump well; instead, it forms strange fibrous "clumps" that crumble apart, and it smells so unbearably disgusting after just one day that I even gagged this morning just walking past the litter box. Really not great at all... I had hoped for much more.

Finally got around to testing this litter and I think it's absolutely brilliant. The smell is fresh, it doesn’t stink of urine, flushing it down the toilet works perfectly, and my tomcat has accepted it too. The only issue with my furry friend is, I don’t know why, but he’s been coming out of his toilet dirtier more often since we started using it, as if he’s sitting back down on his wee every time...

We bought a 40l bag for our two cats 2 months ago and we are still using it now - with Catsan we would have been through an enormous quantity by now. As this clumps so well and smells nice we are only throwing away what has really been used rather than throwing lots away in an attempt to make sure you get rid of all the smell. Being able to flush it is also a great as it means the smell is gone straight away without taking a trip outside. Only thing to watch is to make sure you dont flush too much at a time - but that is pretty obvious really! My partner was very sceptical about getting clumping litter, and flushing it down the loo but he commented this morning how much money we must have save compared to Catsan + Litter Locker bags.

The litter absorbs odours really well, it doesn’t stink at all! And the fact that you can simply and conveniently flush it down the toilet is absolutely brilliant. We’ve been using this litter for a very long time, and our toilet hasn’t gotten clogged because of it or anything like that. Best cat litter. Definitely recommend. (;

Unfortunately, I can only give 4 stars because the dust is really excessive. I sift the litter through a fine hair sieve before putting it in the cat litter box. This helps a bit but can't prevent further dust formation. The closer you get to the bottom of the bag, the more dust there is. Odour control and clumping are OK. That's the only reason I continue to use this litter. Perhaps Zooplus could get the manufacturer to review their product. I should send the company the dust from an 18 kg bag, as if I were collecting the dust from an entire sack. But Zooplus can surely achieve more in this regard.

I can't understand the bad reviews here. The cats took to it straight away, and the litter tray doesn't smell of urine at all. It just smells like damp wood, like a forest after rain. The clumping is good. The tray is cleaned twice a day, so the clumps don't fall apart due to dryness or anything like that. The only time it smells is when the cats do their business, but that's been the case with every other litter as well. There's only one solution for that: clean it straight away. Regarding the little bits on the floor: all our cats dig, and no matter what litter we’ve used, there have always been bits on the floor. Maybe some cats just find digging with this litter more fun. We all think the litter is good. But tastes differ, and that's perfectly fine.

We usually use clumping litter and wanted to switch to Cat's Best because the sand from the litter around the cat toilet bothers me. Now our flat is a crumb paradise. Conclusion: great for 1-2 cats. If you have more than 3, especially if they’re digging champions, it’s a no-go. Clumps nicely for the first few days, but after that, you’re constantly refilling. Odour factor *** (smells pleasant and keeps the cat smell well contained). Price * Effort ** Cat compatibility *** (after 10 days, we had to replace and renew all the litter boxes because they didn’t want to use them anymore).

I absolutely cannot understand the many good reviews here. This clumping litter is absolutely not recommendable. After using the toilet, the entire flat reeks terribly, even with a closed cat litter box. In my opinion, the clumping is poor; the clumps are sometimes completely soggy with urine, take ages to harden properly, and often fall apart. The hard clumps that don’t fall apart are always way too big, so the bin fills up far too quickly. The faeces aren’t covered by the litter at all. I no longer dispose of the litter via the toilet, as I had a pipe blockage after about two weeks, despite using only a small amount of litter. The dust generated during cleaning and refilling is unbearable—I get breathing difficulties every single time. The litter also spreads terribly throughout the flat, even with a litter mat in place. My cats definitely don’t like it either; they don’t bother covering their faeces anymore, which wasn’t the case with other litters. For me, this litter is definitely the WORST I’ve ever tried. Unfortunately, I had to give one star because you can’t give zero stars. I’m truly beyond disappointed, but thank goodness the pack is almost finished.

I tested a lot of products at first and have now been using Cat's Best Öko Plus exclusively for years. Advantages: it's made of wood, so it's nice and soft on the paws, no little stones flying around that get stuck in the parquet flooring, etc.; it clumps well, and you don't have to take every "harvest" to the bin—you can simply flush the clumps down the toilet. If there are several clumps, it's better to do it in stages, but one "business" goes through the pipes just fine. It's also lighter than stone-based litter—absolutely brilliant! Unfortunately, scattered litter and dust can't be completely avoided—but the litter that eliminates that problem probably hasn't been invented yet ;) At least this one doesn't produce more dust than other types of litter.

I’ve never come across a better or more efficient cat litter than this. Both my cat and I are completely satisfied. There’s simply nothing comparable. It’s super easy to dispose of via the toilet, has absolutely no odour, and is incredibly long-lasting. A 40L bag lasts for several months.

I used this cat litter for the first time and actually find it very good, but unfortunately, the dust formation is quite significant. My cat always has to sneeze after using the toilet.

After trying a few different clumping litters, I decided to give this one a shot. I have not been disappointed, clumps really well, no unpleasant odours and lasts for ages. Fantastic!

This litter has completely won me over after many years and countless varieties. The only thing you can smell is the scent of freshly cut wood, it clumps brilliantly, and disposal via the toilet works just as well! I’ll never use another litter again and hope the quality stays as good as it is!

Absolutely brilliant – for the first time, my three cats are using one litter box. I'm thrilled – 40 litres last me practically forever (almost a year, though my cats spend a lot of time outdoors!). I'm especially pleased that Cat's Best is so odourless, so I don't have to constantly change to a fresh litter box. I can only strongly recommend Cat's Best Öko Plus!

After seeing all the top reviews, we decided to give this litter a try as well, but after a three-week test phase, we’ve gone back to the regular clumping cat litter with baby powder scent. First, the positives: it’s super easy to clean and doesn’t smell if you clean it every day. However, the negatives are quite significant. The litter gets scattered all over the apartment by our two cats, leaving crumbs everywhere. On top of that, both of our cats were reluctant to use it. One of them eventually got used to it, but our tomcat started doing his business next to the litter box instead. After switching back to the usual cat litter, he was still unsettled for three days, but now everything is back to normal. Absorption is really good, though. Overall, not something we’d buy again.
