I was recommended this cat litter by my Birman breeder and I think it’s fantastic. My three Birmans love digging in it and are completely happy with it. Disposal is quick and it clumps really well. The few crumbs that occasionally end up in front of the litter box are very easy to clean up. So, the four of us are absolutely satisfied with this litter and will continue to use it :)

I bought this litter based on the good reviews and the recommendation of my colleague! Shortly after I started using the litter, I developed severe asthma, which I usually only experience in summer during pollen season. At first, I didn’t connect it to the litter... but then, when I saw the clouds of dust rising while cleaning the litter box and noticed the fine dust settling all over my clothes, it dawned on me... I then started cleaning the litter box only while wearing a mask, but unfortunately, that didn’t help either. I strongly advise all asthmatics or people (and cats) with lung problems to avoid this litter!! It’s like flour — since I work in the medical field, I know patients with so-called dust lungs who have spent their lives working in professions like baking! The only positive thing I can say about this litter is that you can dispose of it in the toilet... unfortunately, its clumping ability isn’t very good! For health reasons, I had to switch to a different litter! Therefore, only 2 stars from me!

Never another cat litter. I’m so glad I discovered this litter for our Tommy – it doesn’t smell, is super easy to clean, and lasts for a long time. I haven’t seen anything better so far!!! Many thanks for the great product!

I've tried countless types of litter, but the best one is Cat's Best. My Naomi gets along with it really well. So what if there are a few crumbs on the bathroom mat? Who cares, at least there's no more nasty smell in the flat. I recommend it to all my friends.

The litter actually smells very good. The wood scent is very pleasant. However, it creates an insane amount of dust! I immediately had a coughing fit. And since my husband unfortunately has a dust allergy, it’s completely out of the question for us now. What’s definitely a plus is the weight! It’s much lighter. We didn’t dare dispose of it in the toilet. We have 5 cats, and they make quite a mess. :-) That’s just too risky for us! The smell is fine for small business, but for big business, it can’t eliminate the odour at all. We’ll be switching back to Golden Grey Master!

I've had a lot of bad litter before, but I think Cats Best Öko is the worst. First of all, it smells really strange compared to others, and it sticks to the floor like glue. I wouldn't dispose of it in the toilet either, because it doesn't dissolve quickly enough, so one flush isn't enough. The only advantage is that it's lightweight. My cats outright rejected the stuff and made a point of doing their business in front of the litter box instead.

The litter is biodegradable, can be disposed of in the toilet, and isn’t toxic for the cat, unlike bentonite litter. It’s super efficient. The huge downside, however, is that the stuff is very lightweight and ends up everywhere in the flat. On the floor, in the carpet, on the sofa, and I even keep finding it in the bed, despite having short-haired cats.

We are very happy with this litter! It clumps brilliantly and is very low odour. Plus, it's obviously very convenient that the clumps can be disposed of in the toilet.

When I first got Bagel I was using cheap cat litters which didn't clump very well at all, I even accidently bought a non-clumping one once and that was beyond horrific! This cat litter is fantastic! I was dubious of the price at first but due to the little round balls of clumped wee barely any litter is used and it lasts for ages! Holds smell well, and doesn't seem to track anymore than some of the other litters I have used (:

Clumps well! Hardly any smell! Very economical! Super great that you can dispose of it in the toilet! It dissolves almost completely in water! This means there's no odour in the flat! Especially in Switzerland, with the high disposal costs, it's a fantastic alternative!

My two "boys" carry the crumbs around, I grab my sweeper and the job's done. The advantages outweigh everything, straight into the loo – "All done!" Economical, clumps well, doesn't smell. Almost top-notch litter.

For over 10 years, I have been buying your product, and my cats were always satisfied. In mid-May, I purchased 12L. This time, however, the litter was extremely poor in use. It didn’t clump, fell apart, and ended up scattered all over the flat. I have 5 litter boxes, and you can surely imagine how long I had to vacuum. I have 4 long-haired cats. Even your Gold series is all over the flat. What happened? Why has the quality deteriorated so much? The litter isn’t exactly cheap either. Best regards, F. Raecke

I have 7 indoor cats and have tried quite a few types of cat litter, but none were as good as Cat's Best!!! I remove the waste daily and top up the litter as needed; a complete refill is only necessary every 3 weeks for us. I’m definitely sticking with this litter because, for me, no other litter compares to it.

Whilst being a slightly pricey option, it is worth every penny and lasts more than twice as long as other biodegradable products such as wood pellets. The product is fantastic for odour control and my kitties seem to prefer this to anything I have used before. One of my cats has a tendency to urinate outside of his litter trays if they are not completely clean but, since using this product for 6 months, he has not done this once! The only down side is that, as it is so lightweight, it does track on the cats paws out of the tray very easily but it is alleviated if you use a mat.

This stuff is amazing and trust me when I say this, it will last a long time. It clumps into like a gel substance and holds adore amazingly well too. I love the stuff. This is my time of using it and will continue to use it.

My problem before: Two cats make A LOT of mess... So much mess that I was worried my general waste bin wouldn’t be enough – but paying for a bigger one just because of the cats? Even worse, the waste in the general bin smelled absolutely awful. On top of that, I didn’t want to run to the general waste bin for every little pile, so I had a separate cat poo bin outside the front door. (Which, in summer, would surely have attracted hordes of flies :-) I also didn’t want to flush the stuff with the non-environmentally friendly litter down the toilet... What also annoyed me was that everything that usually ends up scattered around the litter box couldn’t be swept up with a broom because the fine clumping litter sticks incredibly well to the tile joints... and I didn’t want to have to get the vacuum cleaner out every time either. Thanks to a dear colleague at work, who has three tomcats, I discovered the plant-based alternative – and I’m thrilled! The litter box is in my hallway, near the bathroom door – which has the added advantage of the toilet being close by. Now I dispose of the “small” business in the general waste and the “big” business down the toilet – no more unpleasant odours (and the amount in the general waste has significantly decreased :-) The plant-based litter clumps well, absorbs odours effectively – simply brilliant. When the entire litter box needs cleaning, I can dispose of it in the organic waste bin (or, for those who can, in a forest). Completely replacing the litter is very rarely necessary, at least from a smell perspective, it doesn’t seem urgent :-) The crumbs around the litter box are now larger, but sweeping them up is much easier. And another thing: sifting through during the “treasure hunt” has also become significantly easier! All in all, I’m just TOTALLY satisfied! Oh yes: my cats took to the litter immediately :-) They obviously knew they were doing me a favour too.... :-)

PRO: The cat litter clumps well and is very economical. My tomcat accepted the litter very quickly, and I can't say anything bad about the smell. CONTRA: Despite using a mat, the litter gets spread throughout the entire flat. It sticks to the fur of my long-haired cat, and it's honestly a real nuisance! The litter creates quite a bit of dust when cleaning and refilling! CONCLUSION: Certainly suitable for a short-haired cat, but not recommended for long-haired cats.

It clumps very well, but as soon as the urine clump comes into contact with the bottom of the litter tray, it sticks a lot. I've already broken a scoop because the clump is almost impossible to remove from the bottom.

Unlike other cat litter, this one is pleasantly lightweight. Unfortunately, the litter is very dusty and sticks to the paws and fur. Our two elderly ladies (15 and 17 years old) find the cat litter absolutely dreadful. We've already tried mixing in some of the other litter, but the two still prefer to use one of the three other litter boxes with the "normal" litter. Such a shame. Looks like we'll have to keep lugging those 20-kilo bags around. What wouldn't you do for your old girls :-))
