Fantastic!
I used another brand of flushable litter but thought I would give this a try. It works out to be a lot less expensive to use and it simply does not smell. It is also less messy in use as it doesn't walk all over the place. Despite having a Booda Step tray the previous brand did stick to their feet. All round win!

Dissatisfied
At first, we were very happy with this litter. However, we quickly ran into the problem that the cats were spreading it around the flat. Worse still, even after a complete clean-up, just one trip to the toilet was enough to make our entire room (which is very large with 4-metre-high walls) smell awful. That's why we're not very impressed with this litter.

It's a shame, it used to be much better.
I've been using it for 4 years now, but I have to say it used to be much better. It hardly clumps at all anymore with my cat. That's why I'm seriously considering switching to something else. But at least it doesn't smell and lasts a long time. So, if clumping is important to you, I honestly can't recommend it.

Where has the quality gone?
I can wholeheartedly agree with the previous reviewer. I've been using this litter since 2004 and was always very satisfied. However, over the past year, the quality has steadily deteriorated by at least 50%, and it’s only getting worse!
The price, however, has gone up!!!
It turns into dust within 2-3 days and becomes unbearably dusty, which is especially unpleasant for me as an asthma sufferer. My two British Shorthair ladies are constantly cleaning their paws and chewing on them. As a result, it gets spread all over the flat, even into the furthest corners. I can barely get it out of my high-pile carpets, even with 2500W suction! This is just unacceptable!!!
Can’t Zooplus, as a major buyer, lodge a complaint with the manufacturer!?
Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend it!! :-((

Never again
Tried this litter because of all the good reviews.
I would never buy this litter again.
1. It spreads all over the flat, absorbency is practically zero.
2. My cats didn’t take to it at all and started doing their business around the flat again.
I’ll be going back to my old litter and won’t be switching again in the future.

... Didn't pass the test here...
Due to the many positive reviews and personal recommendations from my friends, I decided to get a bag.
What can I say... Yes, it’s very economical (currently a real problem, I just want to finally use it up!) And the odour control is good too.
I can live with having litter scattered around the bathroom – that was the case with my previous litter as well – but I can’t stand it being all over the ENTIRE flat... It sticks particularly well to the flokati rug, I’ve found it on my desk and even in my bed... I’m now vacuuming twice a day, but I just can’t get rid of it... It’s too light and seems to fly everywhere, or at least that’s how it feels... I’m giving it to my friend, the situation is unbearable right now... Off I go to vacuum again!

Creates too much mess
It really does a good job of preventing odours, it hardly creates any dust, but it just gets spread all over the flat, and that's too much for me.

It's driving me up the wall now.
I first came across this cat litter at the Infa fair in Hanover, where it was recommended to me. Since then, I’ve always bought the big bag and was completely satisfied. It’s super efficient, my cats love it, it doesn’t smell, and I can dispose of it perfectly in the toilet.
BUT:
Now this damn cat litter is scattered all over the flat. On the carpet, on the sofa, on the tables and windowsills. Even on the bedsheets – and my cats aren’t even allowed in the bedroom! You end up spreading it around yourself with your socks and slippers.
I’ll finish using the pack I have, and then that’s it! Such a shame, because I used to be really happy with it and thought it was the best cat litter out there.

Will not be purchased again.
It used to be better.....
The litter used to be top-notch – but now it crumbles far too quickly. In terms of smell and durability, you could actually leave it in for 6 weeks or longer, but after just 1 week with 5 cats, it’s nothing but dust and ends up everywhere in the house – such a shame, and it’s gotten expensive too.

wow
Only used for half a day and already I'm impressed! It clumps, it flushes, it doesn't smell! The hunt for the perfect litter has ended. With other reviews saying tracking is bad I also bought a mat from this site which works well to trap stray litter. Would I recommend this litter to a friend? Yes I will!

Great litter!
I received this litter as a gift along with my tomcat; before that, I used clay clumping litter. Not only did it stink of faeces, but it also had an unpleasant clay smell. On top of that, it was terribly dusty. Now, if the cat happens to take small clumps out of the litter box, stepping on them doesn’t hurt :D
Jokes aside, the eco-litter is genuinely very low-odour! You can hardly smell anything from the cat litter box anymore, and it’s very economical. I still don’t dispose of it via the toilet, but I do see this option as a big plus!

It used to be better
The litter used to be absolutely top-notch – but now it crumbles far too quickly. In terms of smell and efficiency, you could actually leave it in for 6 weeks or longer, but after just 2 weeks with 3 cats, it’s nothing but dust and ends up everywhere in the house – such a shame.

Cat's Best Öko Plus cat litter is the best for me.
I’ve tried many cat litters myself, and for me, this one is the best. It has a neutral smell (slightly like wood), clumps well, and is absolutely odour-binding. However, there are occasional quality differences, which means the litter doesn’t clump as well sometimes. Unfortunately, my cats also tend to drag it all over the house, so I’m only giving it four out of five stars.

Simply awful.
I have a purebred farm cat, and he’s managed to spread this litter all over the flat. On top of that, the litter hardly clumps at all and creates a lot of dust. Cleaning the litter box is also more work because you only find small clumps. I can only advise against buying it.

Price/performance ratio is the best among the plant-based litters.
Due to my tomcat's allergy, I unfortunately couldn't continue using the previous bentonite litter, even though it was preferred by both me and the cats. During a previous test, we were all initially not very impressed with CBÖP.
When I was forced to test several plant-based litters again (World's Best Cat Litter, Agros Green Cat, and this one), I ended up sticking with CBÖP after all. It doesn't clump quite as well as World's Best, but it's significantly cheaper. Mixed with the leftovers of Agros Green Cat (which is maize-based like World's Best, priced similarly to CBÖP, but doesn't clump very well), CBÖP is now accepted by the cats too. The long-term test will now show whether CBÖP becomes the permanent replacement for bentonite or whether we'll have to invest in World's Best after all.

Brilliant Cat Litter
I have tried many many cat-litters, I have a very widdly cat and was spending a fortune on litter. Silica stuff that professed to last a month, in reality lasted my boy a fortnight (max). I've never liked clumping litter but was persuaded to try this one. I have to say I'm delighted. Fergus seems to like it and it is so much more economical than the others I've tried, the clumps scoop out easily and are very easy to dispose of. There is a bit of tracking but I've got laminate so I'm not worried about that, given the economical nature of the litter and the fact that it sweeps up easily. I'm delighted.

The best!
We've tried quite a few types of cat litter, but we always come back to Cat's Best Öko Plus. It's very economical, easy to handle when cleaning the litter box and disposing of waste. Our two kitties accept it wonderfully, and it's made from natural materials. Great value for money. I honestly can't think of anything that could be improved here.

Great litter
It was important to me to use litter made from renewable materials. My kittens accepted the litter straight away, and the flat never smells unpleasantly of a cat toilet. The cats love digging in the litter, it doesn’t create any dust, and with the natural composition, I don’t have to worry about my little one playing with the 'sticks'. With my Persian (5 months old), the litter doesn’t get stuck in her fur.
I dispose of the litter in the toilet – it works brilliantly. You just shouldn’t let the clumps soak for too long, otherwise, they don’t flush down as easily.

The best there is
Back then, I started using Catsan because I thought expensive must equal good, but nope, it started to stink after just one day. Months went by as we tried countless cat litters, all without success, even with deodoriser for the litter box (I always cleaned it straight away after spotting any mess).
Then we found this one. The first thing I particularly liked was that it’s environmentally friendly and you can flush it down the toilet—perfect!
Every time I go to the bathroom, I quickly clean the litter box. It forms perfect clumps and is super economical. I just top it up and only need to do a full clean every two months (except when the cat has diarrhoea due to a food change). With 10 litres, I can manage almost two months for two cats. And at this price? Brilliant, absolutely fantastic.
I can recommend it to everyone—and I do!

Excellent Litter
I have just used my first bag of this litter and I can honestly say that it is brilliant. I've used clay based litter for years but they are no where near as good. I decided to try Cats Best Oko because of the reviews on here and I'm so pleased I did. I have a very fussy indoor cat that won't go near her tray if it smells at all. The litter clumps very well and has a nice smell. I changed the litter after a week and to be honest the litter that remained had no bad odours at all. I wrap the clumps in a tissue and flush them down the toilet, no problem.
