I'm very disappointed!!!!!
I’ve been using this litter for 5 years and was always thrilled with it. However, the last few times my opinion has completely changed. The manufacturer has altered something. It no longer clumps and crumbles apart entirely. Cleaning the litter box is no fun at all at the moment, as it takes up way too much time to fish out the individual clumps… unfortunately, unfortunately, very poor! I’ll be looking for another manufacturer.

Super cat litter!
We have 2 cats, and especially in this hot weather, the typical "litter box smell" develops quickly in the cat toilet. So, we tried Cat's Best and are very happy with it! It doesn't smell at all and is economical, as you don't need to remove much litter when there are clumps. Both cats accepted it straight away, even though the younger cat is very sensitive when it comes to "her" litter box. If something doesn't suit her or smells too much, she's already peed in our bedroom several times – but with this litter, that doesn't happen anymore! Even my weekend visitors didn't notice anything about the litter box.
One star is deducted because (as other users have already mentioned) the larger clumps sometimes break apart when being removed, and because the litter tends to spread throughout the apartment.
Overall, it's a great litter, and we will only buy Cat's Best Öko Plus from now on.

Quality has unfortunately declined significantly.
Unfortunately, the product was changed some time ago.
It’s nowhere near as absorbent anymore, starts smelling like urine after a short time, and is also much harder to sift through.
Visually, you can see that the litter has become much coarser.
The used clumps crumble into bits and no longer hold together well.
As a result, my animals track it around with their paws, which never used to happen.
I won’t be ordering it again.
Since it used to be the perfect litter for my ferrets before the change, I find this alteration very disappointing.

The worst litter I’ve ever tried!
I was misled by the good reviews. Plus, I wanted to try out a biological litter for once.
My conclusion: NEVER AGAIN!
The litter clumps extremely poorly. When you scoop up the clumps with the shovel, they fall apart into individual clumps. If you then make the mistake of shaking the litter scoop to leave loose litter in the tray, the clump turns into 20 tiny clumps that I have to painstakingly fish out of the tray. Because of this, the litter is anything but economical. By avoiding shaking the litter scoop, you end up throwing away a decent amount of unused litter every time.
Secondly, the litter starts to smell after a short time. After just five days, you can smell that there’s a cat litter tray in the room. And that really shouldn’t be the case! This happens even though I clean the tray twice a day and remove even the tiniest clumps. I’m honestly surprised my cat, with her sensitive nose, still uses it.
Thirdly, the litter is very coarse-grained. Litter-catching mats in front of the tray only hold back the coarse grains slightly. Most of it ends up scattered around the house. Fine-grained litter isn’t a problem, but these large grains can really hurt if you step on them barefoot.
All in all, I’m deeply disappointed and will definitely never buy this litter again!

Eco-friendly and organic!
I am really very satisfied with this litter. It clumps well, making it economical to use. It binds odours and produces far less dust than other litter I’ve used before (DM Hygiene Litter). However, the claim on the packaging that the base filling can remain in the litter tray for up to 6 weeks seems questionable to me for hygiene reasons. Here, the base filling stays in for two weeks, and then everything is thoroughly cleaned. By the way, I mix Cats Best Öko with DM Mein Bestes Wood Litter, which is cheaper but also a bit coarser.

Odour control is top-notch, but unfortunately, so is the grain distribution!
I got my cat fairly recently but have already tried out a few types of litter – mostly clumping litter.
Regular clumping litter – no matter the brand – smells, even though I clean the litter box every day or every other day (scoop out the clumps, add a bit of fresh litter). It was particularly bad with the Bianca litter from Penny (coarse-grained).
What bothered me about clumping litter was that disposal is inconvenient: bin bags. And especially on the third floor, the bags get heavy quickly, and it’s annoying.
I also thought it would be better for the animal to switch to eco-friendly litter.
So, I decided to go for eco-litter.
**PROS**
I have to say, the odour control is excellent. There’s no smell anymore compared to before.
On top of that, the litter is extremely economical. The wood flakes don’t stick much to the droppings. It seems to me like only the liquid is absorbed... So, I’m sure this giant bag (40L) will last me several weeks.
**CONS**
However, despite having a mat, the cat tracks the litter all across the bathroom. This means vacuuming every day or at most every other day.
I haven’t tried disposing of it via the toilet yet. That’s because I still had a bit of clumping litter left and mixed it in. I’ll give it a go, though. Apparently, it’s one flush per “clump.” I think that’s definitely exaggerated and reckon you’d need two flushes for the cat’s daily business overall.
**CONCLUSION**
Still, the price-performance ratio is great compared to many other litters – especially considering how economical it is.
If it weren’t for the issue with the litter being scattered everywhere, it would be perfect for me. The flakes are just too loose and light. Nevertheless, I’ll keep buying it because I’m not too fussy about occasionally having a flake stuck to my foot.

Tried it - won’t be buying it again
We were looking for a new cat litter because we couldn't get our old one through zooplus. We came across this cat litter due to the many positive reviews.
Well, what can I say – we are utterly disappointed. The cat litter smells awful, and now our hallway, where one litter box is located, as well as the bathroom with the second one, strongly smell like a cat toilet.
It clumps moderately well, but at least it’s accepted.
The litter is also much coarser than we had expected based on the photo.
Conclusion: never again.

Amazing
Love this litter. We have two Maine coons so go through quite a lot of litter. This litter is amazing, no more wee/ammonia smell. Highly absorbent and the fact it's biodegradable is a bonus! Have recommended to others. It's simply great

strong odour retention
I have several indoor cats and have tried all kinds of cat litter. There are many good ones, but CBÖP is the first where I’ve been amazed to find that it has excellent odour control. You can’t smell the urine, just a bit of the poo, and that can be flushed straight down the toilet. Sure, it’s more expensive compared to other types, but if it makes both pets and humans happy...

NEVER AGAIN ANOTHER
We used to have litter from a well-known brand, and after just two days, it already started to smell again. With this litter, I can clean the litter box once a week, even with two cats. Brilliant, keep it up!!

Best cat litter we've ever had!
It's incredibly economical – it lasts forever (almost three times as long as conventional clumping litter) – so the price is unbeatable.
It's super lightweight – taking it to the bin without a strained back is possible!
It doesn't stick to the bottom of the litter box like cement, as bentonite clumping litter tends to do when Mr and Mrs Cat dig all the way to the bottom...
A note for the sensitive: it doesn't make that cringe-worthy crunching sound if a little pebble ends up on the tiled floor.
Highly recommended!

The best eco-litter
My three indoor cats love digging around in it: At first, it’s even dust-free – though that fades after several weeks of digging. The clumping is good, as long as you don’t touch it straight away. The scent is really pleasant.
As soon as it starts to smell, you know it’s time to change the litter. For us, it lasts up to two months, depending on usage.
However, the quality really used to be better...

Doesn't smell and clumps well.
I'm very happy with the litter. It doesn't smell and clumps well. The only thing is that our kitten doesn't always completely bury her "treasures" since we switched to this litter. Our tomcat likes the new litter, and it's good for his paws, which were once injured, as it's much softer than other clumping litters.

Simply unbeatable
The best cat litter I’ve come across in my 12 years of owning cats. Super absorbent, great at neutralising odours, compostable, and the cats accepted it straight away.

Finally, a litter for our asthmatic cat that doesn’t smell and absorbs brilliantly.
We've been using this litter for a few months now, and our three indoor cats took to it straight away and absolutely love it.
All three share just ONE large litter box, and even if I come home late, the most I smell is wood – no unpleasant cat litter odour at all.
One of our cats has asthma, but since this litter is dust-free, that problem has been completely solved, and we no longer have to deal with coughing fits after a trip to the litter box.
The clumping is excellent, and the "chunks" are super easy to remove with a scoop.
Additionally, the small granules are easy to clean up if they happen to fall out of the box, and they stay within a manageable radius around the litter box – unlike the fine litter we used before, which used to spread all over the flat (even into the bed!!!).
Conclusion: smells great, no more cat litter odour, even after a longer cleaning interval, lightweight, eco-friendly, and you can even dispose of it in the toilet (though we don't). Our cats love it!

The best cat litter there is!
I’ve had cats for several years now and have owned quite a few over time. I’ve tried almost every type of litter, from cheap to expensive, and I have to say that Cat’s Best Öko is simply the best for me and my cats! It clumps nicely and binds odours – of course, if the big tomcat drops a log, it still smells, but that’s the case with every other litter box too. Besides, it all depends on how clean you are yourself. When we go to the toilet, we flush, don’t we, and don’t leave it floating around forever ;)

If accepted, then very good.
I'll try to summarise it briefly:
+ very economical
+ good clumping
+ the litter doesn’t get spread around the flat as much as fine granules (this was actually the reason I bought it). The few small bits that ended up outside, I simply picked up and threw back in.
+ disposal in the toilet (though I’d only recommend this for the solid waste; otherwise, I’d worry about blockages)
- unfortunately, one of my cats didn’t accept the litter. She didn’t want to dig in it, and of course, it smelled quite bad when waste was left on top. Well, I wouldn’t necessarily count this as a negative point, but I think it’s something to keep in mind when choosing. I’m sure there are other sensitive cats that wouldn’t be happy with it.
All in all, I find it a shame that I can’t use this litter. If your cat likes it, it’s certainly a very good litter.

2 Birmas like to go to the toilet.
The litter is truly odour-neutral and clumping, so it lasts a very long time before the box needs to be completely emptied.
