Breaks down
I bought two of these and one stopped working after a few months, received a replacement and now the other one has stopped working after 16 months. The internal construction is plastic and the components snap internally that rise and close the lid. The motor has stopped lifting the lid. Great when they work but poor design means they don’t last which means £ is not worth it for just over 16 months use.

Battery not included 😳
After paying £120 to a feeder it is ridiculous that they don’t even include the battery. At least they could write that it is not included so I could make it ready. Small calculations…This company has already lost my respect before trying the feeder!

Waste of money
I bought 2 of these to prevent my cats from waking me up in the night for food/attention. One of my cats microchips is quite far down so the door doesn't open for him until he goes right inside. He gets fed up and just lifts the door off with his teeth and paws and I am now woken to the noise of him trying to get to his food. The other one works intermittently for my other cat and the door stays open so my dogs eat the food. Very disappointed as the product isn't cheap.

Disappointed
It was fine at the beginning, my cats learned to eat from it. I have bought two and one stopped working completely. The light is dark and the lid does not open. The second one is not reliable, it lets the cat eat sometimes, but sometimes it shows green light, but does not open. I have tried to return it now, Zooplus told me to contact the manufacturer. I did, but they answered in German. Not sure if i will ever get the money back.

Pointless
Cat learnt how to use it straight away. Other cats can just reach over it from the side or stand next to each other and feed simultaneously. If you have a slightly aggressive eater then this becomes completely pointless.

surefeed cat feeder
Bought 2 of these as have two cats with different feeding needs. Worked for a while but my overweight cat sneaks in to the other feeder and eats with my other cat which is okay. Problem occurs when the registered cat leaves his feeder the bowl lid doesn't close leaving free access to the non-registered cat so useless and doesn't do what says on the tin. Would not recommend this product as expensive and ineffective unless issue is fixed by Manufacturer
