Feringa Classic Meat Menu 6 x 200g

My car seems quite happy to eat the first plate but it turns a disturbing green colour quickly after opening. The rest of the tin gets wasted. The last time I kept it tightly wrapped up and put that in an airtight tin so she got through a bit more but once the air got to the rest she wouldn't touch it and I didn't blame her. I've had this experience every time with feringa. It's fatty looking too. It hasn't had and ill effects, it just looks awful when it changes colour!

I really hoped my kittens would eat it because i know the dry food are not good, but they are just not interested. i tried to heat up, adding water, mixing with dry etc.. none works. The problem is the content segregated, you have 3 layers. The gel on top, meat in the middle and fat at bottom. Am i supposed to mix them or what?

Second box opened out of six, and second outright refusal! Just goes to show, there's no point trying to change boxes that are usually liked! (Luckily, I'm looking after the neighbours' cat while they're on holiday and she loved it.) As for me, I won't be buying it again, that's for sure. Texture is meh.

My tomcat consistently refuses to eat this food. We first tried the small pouches, which he liked. But these varieties are completely rejected, and he won't touch them even when he's really hungry. Because of this, I won't be buying the tins again.

My cat refuses to eat this food and would rather go hungry. The dense texture and complete lack of jelly or gravy make it hard to break up. So it doesn’t go to waste, I mix it with another food that has a lot of jelly, and then it’s eaten as a last resort, but still not very willingly.

My 9-year-old cat has been fed this pâté since he was 1 year old, and he really liked it. For the past few months, he’s been vomiting and stopped eating. The vet said it’s actually very bad for their health to give grain-free food, contrary to what you read online. I let myself be influenced by those reviews.

I purchased Feringa wet food because of the good reviews and the seemingly high-quality ingredients, with a high meat content and no grains. However, in practice, it was a disappointment. My cats simply didn’t want to eat it. They sniff it and walk away, even when mixed with other foods they usually like. The texture is quite dense and not very appealing, and the smell doesn’t seem to attract them either. It’s a shame, because nutritionally it seems like a good option, but it was money down the drain.

Feringa has a great list of ingredients (high-quality food) for a good price. Unfortunately, the composition changes quite often, like with many wet foods, and the cats refuse to eat it more often than not. That’s why, unfortunately, I have to rate it as ‘insufficient’.
