Feringa Classic Meat Menu 6 x 200g

I thought I would give my cat a change so I added this to my monthly Animonda Carni order. She is not a particularly fussy eater, but this Feringa meat was a complete flop. She sniffed it and pulled away sharply and would not touch it at all.

In past my cat used to love this food, now she hate it. My cat don't want eat it, she only sniffed and went away... I regret I bought big bundle of it... Why they changed something what was good? I will not buy again.

Looks like the recipe has been changed yet again. The one remaining variety that he ate, he now refuses. Will Not buy anymore

I was wondering why my cat was throwing up recently, it could be other things but clearly this food could also be the cause. Why would you put cress and or/ dandelions in a cat food you feed on a regular basis. Cress being poisonous and dandelions "should not be a regular part of the cats diet" as far as I have read. There must be a reason but I would recommend the manufacturer rethink their recipe? Not happy as this supplier, shame as the cats seem to like the food?

We ordered this food for our cat for years, without fail. Since they changed the recipe, it seems to make him sick. We had to stop ordering it. It seems as though we're not the only customers they've lost. Why change something that was working so well?

We have fed our cat on Feringa literally since he first arrived with us. But since the recipe/consistency was changed (and yes it was, however much Feringa insist it wasn't), it's been making him sick. We won't be ordering it again. Such a shame to have lost a food we thought was good quality and could rely on.

you have to go through this food thoroughly because of sharp bones that would choke your cat. we add warm water to make a gravy and mix meat through it. cat loves it and dish is always clean. anyone feeding their cat this food be careful. manufacturer get your act together.

I was on my third tin of a six pack of 200g and fed my cat as normal with 50g of the food, I was so fortunate that she put aside a 10mm by 5mm piece of razor sharp hard bone which, if she had eaten, might have caused serious damage or even killed her. Zooplus reimbursed me but I would advise caution on usage

I used to be very happy with Feringa and my cats loved it. But the labels changed and the contents looked and smelt a similar brown for all the flavours. A great shame as they were so good. The mixed pack was good for me and you could distinguish all the varieties. Why change? It didn’t need it.

I have been buying this brand for years and I wonder if the recipe has been changed because we have never experienced this before. The food did not go all the way to the perimeter of the tin like usual and the meat was wet and oily. The tin was filled with oil! My cat barely sniffed the food and I did not feel it was safe to give it to her either. I sent a complaint Zooplus via the App weeks ago and have not had a reply. We had no issues with the rest of the flavours.

Cats ( who like all sorts in mideration) don’t like any of these. Very cakey and dense like old fashioned cheap cat food. Also, the can lids, once opeN , are very sharp it seems - just sliced the back of my finger clean open!🥺😩 ouch.💥

My 2 cats refused to eat this, the food looked good but once it was plated for more than a few minutes it gave off a really bad odour like rotten meat/fish. Ended up throwing it away.

Really not a good product as watercress is toxic to cats. My cat has eaten watercress before and was rushed to the vet with posioning. I dont understand why they have thought that this would be a good ingrediant in cat food is beyond me

I have 4 young cats - wanted a healthier diet for them so tried feringa. They wouldn't touch any of the flavours. First thought maybe the tin size was too big (800g) but tried 200g and they still wont touch any however hungry they are. Waste of money

None of my three Ragdolls like the chicken and trout variety. It's such a shame, especially after buying so many cans and now being stuck with them. I've tried everything to get them to eat it. I've mixed it with their favourite food and their wet snacks, but nothing works—they just won't eat it, unfortunately. I can't recommend this one.

Neither of my two, who admittedly are a bit picky, nor the three neighbour cats, who usually eat anything, touched the food!

I don't know what's going on, but before all my cats (I have 4) used to happily eat this food, and now they don't like it at all. I ordered a stock and they liked one multipack, but not another. And the next ones, they didn't like either. Unfortunately, I have to look for a different food, and not one produced by zooplus, because here it's always a gamble.

My cat isn't picky, but this is the first time he's not interested in eating something at all.

I usually buy Feringa in trays. This time I wanted to go for a more economical option... And that was a mistake. The food in the can looks like scraps, the smell is, well, controversial. BUT... bones in cat food is just too much. That’s dangerous for the animal’s health and life. The poultry version is of terrible quality. How can such a product even be allowed for sale? I found sharp little bones throughout the whole can...

My four cats used to really like this food, but unfortunately, since my last order, they've been avoiding it, which suggests that something about the food has changed. Such a shame!
