Check by running your hands over your dog's body to see if there are any unusual lumps, which could indicate a tick These disease-spreading parasites are found in grassy areas but can also pass from one host to another. Ticks should be removed as soon as possible to prevent infection, and regular topical parasite treatments will make sure that any ticks attached to your dog are rapidly killed.
