The zooplus Subscribe & Save service (henceforth “the service”) between the customer and zooplus AG (“zooplus”) is subject to the following terms and conditions valid at the time of registration. Our general terms and conditions and data protection policy also apply.
1. Eligibility and Contract
The offer is available to all registered www.zooplus.co.uk customers of an age at which they are capable of entering into legal transactions. Eligible customers are required to have a UK delivery address.
The service allows you to set up regular orders for certain articles, at intervals that you can select, without needing to make repeat orders manually. You can set up your subscription with the help of our Customer Service Team, either over the phone or via our contact page. All that you need to do is provide your customer details, the details of the item(s) that you would like to order, the quantity for each item and your desired delivery frequency.
Each order under the service represents an offer to us to conclude a purchase contract. The contract with zooplus is only concluded when zooplus ships the ordered products to you, the customer, and confirms their dispatch with a further e-mail (shipping confirmation). Around 5 days prior to your next subscription order being processed for dispatch, we will send you a reminder email confirming receipt and details of the order. This email will also allow you to amend or cancel your order.
2. The Subscription Service
2.1. General Information
The service guarantees you a discount on the regular price of your ordered items valid on the day your order is placed. Information about the level of discount can be found in the “Subscribe & Save Service: Prices and Discounts” information available on our website. We reserve the right to alter the level of discount at any time. In order to qualify for the service and associated discount, there is a minimum order value of £29 inc. VAT after all discounts have been applied. Other zooplus discounts cannot be combined with the Subscribe & Save discount, unless otherwise indicated. Temporary special offers are excluded from the service.
2.2 Availability of Goods
Should a particular item in your subscription order be out of stock on the day of dispatch, we will advise you that the order for that item has been cancelled. If you wish the item to be reordered once it is back in stock, we will be happy to send it on to you at that time, and in such cases zooplus will accept the delivery costs.
2.3 Subscription Duration and Changes
There is no minimum duration for the service. You can select the number of weeks between deliveries, with a minimum interval of 1 week and a maximum of every 16 weeks. You can make changes or pause your subscription (e.g. for holidays) at any time. Simply contact our Customer Service team to arrange the changes.
3. Methods of Payment
Items ordered as part of the service should be paid for via PayPal. Before every subscription order, you will receive a reminder email with a login link so that you can complete your PayPal payment. Items will only be shipped after they have been paid for.
You have the right to cancel your subscription at any time. You can cancel by contacting our Customer Service Team by phone or via our contact page. zooplus may cancel the subscription service in written or electronic form at any time without stating a reason for doing so. No more subscription orders will be placed after cancellation of the service.
5. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
zooplus reserves the right to terminate the subscription service, or change or add to the terms and conditions to the extent necessary to eliminate subsequently emergent changes in the balance of the contract or to adapt to changing legal or technical conditions, whilst still ensuring that the customer is not disadvantaged. zooplus will inform the customer of any changes to the terms and conditions via email. The change becomes part of the contract, if you do not dispute the changes to be included in the contractual relationship within two weeks after notification in writing or text form.
6. Final Provisions
If any provision of these terms and conditions is or becomes wholly or partially invalid, then the contract shall remain valid. Instead of the invalid or missing provision, the respective legal regulations become applicable. German law applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). This choice of law applies only insofar as the protection afforded by the law of the country where the consumer is domiciled at the time of ordering has not been withdrawn.
7. Printable Version of the Terms and Conditions
If you click on the "Terms and Conditions" you can access a printer-friendly version of these terms and conditions, which you can print or save.
