Ferplast Plaza 160 Small Pet Cage

I did some shopping around before I decided to buy this. Bought as a holiday home for my bunnies as I took them with me to stay at my parents, but I didn’t want to compromise on space (my mother was less delighted at how big this cage is!). One warning, my relationship with my other half almost didn’t make it though construction - make sure to read the instructions and allow enough time to make this. Great deal for money, especially with the two bottles and two hay racks. It’s sturdy and big.

It arrived within a week, the cage itself is perfect for my 3 guinea pigs, easy to assemble and I love how you can have two cages in one! The price makes it affordable compared to other sites like Pets At Home. I definitely will be recommending this cage and website to others. I would add a photo but i don't know how.

The cage is a decent size for 2 male guinea pigs, bit awkward to put together but managed it, had to zip tie the cage together rather than use the clips. Other than that it's it's good purchase

The delivery of the cage was quite quick but that's the only good thing about it. It had many faults & broken bits, contacting them is a bit of a nightmare, eventually got it sorted & the new cage is here (also had a broken piece but used the bit from the 1st cage) it's difficult to put together as nothing seems to fit properly, it's very flimsy & cheap. I wouldn't buy it again if I needed a new cage.

I've had my eye on this cage for a while now I have a rabbit who is 8 months old and has definitely outgrown his cage so I got this because I wanted him to have a bigger space to live in and I'm so glad I did - clips are fiddly but it is very sturdy when put together it was much bigger than I anticipated that I now think I'm going to buy another bunny friend for the one I have :)

When I ordered this cage, I was a little bit skeptical with the reviews I'd seen. I ordered it anyway, expecting it to be a few days to arrive. It arrived two days later! It was packaged carefully. When I unpacked it all, I expected the cage to be a nightmare to fix together, and it wasn't. We barely needed the instructions. Once it's fitted together, it's really sturdy and my guinea girls love it!!!!

Will defo order again the clips for extra bit at end. are fiddly but we got there eventually only took about 20 mins to build and everything worked perfectly and no broken parts defo recommend

Even though I knew the size and measured out where I was going to put it, it still looked huge! A tip to save yourself an hour of cursing - when you come to click and slide the long sections into the base of the cage, mine didn't slide all of the way, and obscured a couple of the holes that the side sections need to click into. Get a hammer, and give a hard knock at the end, and it will click into the correct position. Seems flimsy when loose, but quite sturdy when put together.

This product was exactly as described. Perfect super fast delivery and communication from the moment the order was made. Definitely will be ordering again Just note you do have to build it ...

got this cage decided to get the plaze extence house to go with it would recomed it to every bodey for guniea pigs and rabbits to have lots of fun and to live in

very big! loads of space, if your worried about having to small of a cage I suggest considering this. my bunny loves it and really made herself at home. however even though its big you should still let your bunny out their cage evryday :)

I have had an excellent experience with this cage. I ordered Friday and it was delivered today (1st Feb). I was hesitant to order because it of bad reviews saying flimsy, arrived broken etc but I'm glad I didn't listen. It is more fiddly to put together than a standard cage, but I did it by myself within about 30-45mins. The fiddliest bits were attaching the clips to hold the separate bar sections together. My guinea pigs have plenty of room for the cold weather. I highly recommend.

I was a little sceptical ordering this cage after reading the reviews... We did and we are very pleased with it. Instructions were not very clear but got there in the end. Came packaged well, delivery was very quick (2 days) and no broken pieces. Bunnies love their new home. I would recommend this product.

This was a nightmare trying to build and feels very flimsy, some of the pieces weren’t clipping together so I had to use zip ties insecure

Overall the product is great. Guinea pigs are very happy in there. However it arrived with a crack in it. Messaged ZooPlus straight away with pictures who did not respond.

Despite being a bit fiddly to put together it is such a good quality cage and so roomy! I recommend to anyone to get this cage

It Was a bit of a struggle to put together but we made it in the end and the finished product looks amazing! My two guinea pigs now have the space to popcorn around and have two of everything (hay racks, water bottles) I made at the end Section a toilet area with 100% wooden animal pellets and put the hay racks, water bottles and food bowl in that area. I saw lots of reviews saying it came cracked but mine came completely fine, took a while to come because of Covid but that’s fine! x

i bought this cage for my piggies the water bottles wer both cracked he cage was also cracked from the bottom on the hay racks we’re missing parts and it did not come with the side cage. Pls don’t buy. The ramp was broken to.

The cage is fab, however neither of the water bottles worked, have tried emailing but nobody responds

Very disappointed with this purchase. The assembly system is really poor quality and even harder to keep together. Two clips arrived broken in the packaging. The cage doesn’t hold up; everything falls apart as soon as you open it. The grids move around, and my rabbit managed to pull them out of the clips twice (same goes for the sort of board that’s supposed to be a hideout). I really wouldn’t recommend it, especially considering the price. After three months of use, it ended up dismantled and put away.

I've used the cage for several years. It's really nice. You can separate an area for digging in the sawdust and another for mats. I recommend it for guinea pigs.

We had to assemble the cage with two people and it took us two hours. The instructions were poorly made—when you fixed one thing, something else would fall apart and you had to start over. The assembly was the worst part, but the cage itself is nice and functional.

After just over a year, the cage is already starting to fall apart. Parts break super easily when assembling, and the mesh has somehow become warped.

Assembly instructions are unclear, the click system only works partially. I ended up throwing the assembly accessories in the bin and used cable ties instead. Not very stable, but it holds. Annoying – there’s no large door in the middle to open. I redesigned it with another gate, otherwise it just wasn’t practical. I also left out the little house and the stairs and replaced them with a wooden house. With a bit of imagination and some modifications, it’s actually quite usable now.
