Disappointed
Not sure if it’s only us… but my 4 year-old husky has been pooping 3-4 times a day and her poop stinks so badly after changing her food to this. When we got the same one last year, she was successfully losing weight and her poops were fine. Not sure why the one we bought this year is not helping her with the weight either.

Up to 6x bowel movements
My Labrador struggled with being overweight and lost 10 kg four years ago with the previous Satiety formula. After that, we switched to Obesity Management. The new Satiety recipe causes my dog to produce massive piles of faeces up to six times a day. His coat is scruffy and no longer shiny, and he’s hungry all day long. I’ve always used Royal Canin since he was a puppy, but this food no longer convinces me. I’ll try a different food instead.

Obesity management food was better.
Our almost 17-year-old Beagle eats the new food (anything else would be unusual for a Beagle). However, her bowel movements have changed, and she has already had accidents in the house at night several times since the switch. I would really like to go back to the old food, which she tolerated very well for many years!

New formula
I have used this dry food for over a year and has been highly successful in weight management. But the change in kibble and formula is causing my dog to struggle to eat it. One of the dogs is unable to swallow and digest it. Shame good product but change in product was wrong.

New formula?
My boy has been on this food for a while, and lost his excess weight. The last bag we got says new formula and it doesn't seem to suit him. He has been sick most nights, several visits to the vet could not find a cause. Changed his food and so far no sickness. Coincidence?

Dry skin
Vet recommended this for our lab who has arthritis and needed to loose a few kilos. Even though he did loose some weight I stopped giving it to him as it gave him really dry flaky skin. He looked as though he had chronic dandruff ( not a good look on a black lab) and he had two bald patches at the top of his front legs. Took him back to vet and he said to stop feeding him this food as this was what had caused his skin problems.
