Markus Mühle dog food has been praised for improving dogs' coats and overall health, making it a favorite for many years. However, recent recipe changes have caused digestive issues for some dogs, leading to dissatisfaction among long-term customers. Despite these concerns, many still appreciate the food's quality and benefits, especially for sensitive dogs, although the kibble's hardness and size have posed challenges for smaller breeds.

clean breath, firm poo, happy dogs
Like others here I found MM via recommendation on independent dog food review sites. Our two 10-mth-old rescue pups have had 5 months on it now & we have two happy, healthy young dogs, full of beans, with unsmelly breath, firm & consistent poo, trim bodies, nice tempers. It's good for training treats (I slice the bigger bits in half) so you can calculate the day's intake easily.

Really disappointed
My dog could not digest this food at all. She was sick for 2 days. Not sure where all this good reviews coming from.

Disappointed
After reading rave reviews about this food, I bought a 15kg bag. Unfortunately within a short space of time 3 of my dogs started to bring up bile 2-3 times a day and seemed ravenous all the time, and the other dropped weight at an alarming rate. I had to feed all of them more, weight for weight, than I have any other dry food, to try to stop the weight loss and hunger. I didn't even get half way down the bag and had to go buy another different food, which resolved all the problems immediately.

Expect incontinence
My 3 pugs and boxer like this food but it makes them drink incopious amounts of water to the point of night time incontinence. Would not buy again because of this. Be very careful.

Good choice
I have two 2year old Bassett's and wanted a plain, unprentious dog food that is of a high standard, reasonably priced and this is one of them. My dogs coat is silky and shiny, they enjoy eating it. Good sized chunks that are good for their teeth.

Best move I have every made
My 3 year old male Airedale has suffered from a sensitive tummy the past year (Huge vet bills with it too) I have tried lots of different foods, nothing has worked until I found MM. He loves it and his bowl is always licked clean. My 15 month old Airedale bitch was very picky with her food and I have had to try lots of different things with her she too loves MM. So I have hit gold with MM!! The price is good and free delivery what more can I say!!

Try it
We have used this for our jackapoo since he was a small puppy. He loves it and is always quick to eat it. His stools have stayed nice and formed. Towards the end of the bag there is powdered food our dog loves this mixed with warm water to a paste. I would not change his food as he is now 18 months old and why change something that works well and is very reasonably priced.

Markus Muhle , helping our sick dog.
One of our dogs was diagnosed in April 2015 with Cutaneous Hemiosarcoma, age 13 . I searched the web for information, on dog nutrition and cancer , MM seemed not to have all the stuff that can make dogs ill , so we started both our dogs on MM. Well its now nearly 9 months later and our dog is still alive, ( 2 lots of tumours removed from skin), we live in France the vet has asked for the name of the food we feed the dog. nothing can cure the dog, but the change in diet has really helped him.

Great Dog food. Great Price!
I found this dog food on a dog food comparison site, and it had a fantastic rating compared to the price.
We feed this to our Old English Sheepdog, and he loves it!
We did have to break it up a bit for him at first, but now he manages really well, and as a treat we soak it in water for him!

best packaged food there is
I have 2 Labrador retrievers, the eldest at 7 years old has had problems in the past of unexplained periods of sickness, each one worse than the last. she nearly died the last time and i wondered if it was food related. Researched on brilliant website and found this food. The difference is amazing. Fingers crossed, no bouts of sickness in the last18 months she has been fed this food. At the same time , we took in an 18 month old rescue. Having been fed junk his breath smelt, his coat was really rough and behaviour erratic. He would steal food all the time. Since feeding him this he is a different dog, calm, loving, coat is super shiney and much softer. I can't rate it highly enough and such good value. What is more , I am reliably informed by owners who feed raw that this is one of the few dry foods you can give which won't react with the occasional raw fed either which is useful to know.

Excellent
When I got my rescue dogs they'd been fed on all sorts of rubbish and as they were really hyper I wanted to try to feed them as naturally as possible but also within my budget. I found a fantastic website that does loads of independent reviews if all different dog foods, checking all the ingredients etc. And this scored really good.
Since feeding this to my 2 everyone always comments about how beautiful and glossy their coats are and they seem to be thriving on it.

The Best Dog Food Out There
I have tried so many foods for my three giant breed dogs and until now I have never really been 100% pleased with the results. For the price, this food is amazing. My boy's coats look amazing, they dance with excitement whenever I walk near their food storage bin and frankly they seem to be in much, much better health.
I don't need to feed them the same quantity as with other dried foods and so it goes a bit further as well.
Looking at the way it is produced and it's ingredients, this seems like one of the smartest dog food options out there.
Can't recommend enough.

good food
my German Shepherd 'Brina'seems to enjoy this food, however it is too dry to be fed on it's own, so I mix it with some wet food...no problem with stools but it does make her drink a lot of water, so wondering whether it has a high salt content? overall, seems a great food, & zooplus often have it on special @ 1-86/kg. which makes it an excellent buy!

Top Quality Ingredients
I have fed Markus Muhle to my working Springer for 2 years now and have never looked back. His coat, weight and overall condition improved and his stools are healthy and firm. (just in case you needed to know). Zooplus give a great service, quick delivery and great price. I also find sticking to one food, rather than keep swapping about allows you to get the maximum benefit from the feed.

Markus Muhl
In my mind simply the best dry dog food or kibble there is. After trying many well known and not so well known brands. The food has a good quality high protein content and is not bulked out with the usual rubbish. It is clean, easy to handle and consistent from one bag to the next. Cold pressed so no loss of nutrient value in the manufacturing process. Much more economical than some of those brands with high impact advertising. Most important of all though is my dog, who really struggled with lots of other makes, enjoys and thrives on this.

A noticeable change
Having tried a few dried foods for my 8 month old Springer Spaniel, I gave the Markus NaturNah a months trial. Now 3 months later I have got to say what a noticeable difference in my dog! He has solid normal colour poos, a little healthy weight gain, better coat and he has calmed down a little. I feed him at 7am, walk him for an hour and he then chills for a couple of hours. I do use this as treats too. I also use this for doggie treats when walking. Our 13 week old Bichon-Yorkie is on this too and loves it! Would really recommend this dog food for owners - the best food I have tried yet.

Amazing food for my rescue pooch!
I adopted my Staffordshire Bull Terrier from the rescue I work at just over a month ago, the whole time he was at the rescue he's had an awful tummy with runny stools and flatulence that could clear a room! (Was fed on Arden Grange) Which definitely wasn't helped by the stress of being in the kennels. I brought him home to foster, in this time his stomach got a little better but not much. He won everyones hearts despite being a stinky boy and we adopted him, I did a lot of research into what food to feed him and decided on this food. His stomach has done a massive 360 turn around! He doesn't stink out the room anymore, his stools are as they should be, his coat is shiner and his skin has gone from being quite dry to normal. He also loves the food, eats every bit, and it's good enough to use as treats for his training. I've also used it in his kongs, made a porridge like substance out of it. He loves it! Couldn't recommend this food more.
