Nice idea, unfortunately doesn’t last long.
I thought it was a lovely idea to have a stuffed toy with a rope filling… Unfortunately, it broke in less than a week. The fabric is chewed up, and all that's left is the rope. Such a shame, as I’m usually very happy with Kong products.

Never again
My Magyar Vizsla tore the fox apart very quickly. The good thing about it is that there's a rope inside. But I don't give that to my Vizsla because he chews on it until the threads come loose. It was disposed of straight away. Kong is a good product, but even they can have items that aren't so great. I've already bought a lot from Kong.

Hoped it would last longer
+ good length
+ good thickness
+ squeaker isn't too intrusive
+ our dog (15-month-old Golden Retriever) loves this fox
- after 20 minutes, the head was already half chewed off, the rope was sticking out, and the front paws were bitten off even faster.
We chose the fox because our stuffed animal graveyard is simply too big.
He occasionally plays with ropes but just doesn't find them interesting enough.
This is a great compromise between the two, but unfortunately, it's not durable enough.

Great except for...
Great sturdy toy, absolutely loved, but unfortunately there was a squeaker in the head part that had to be removed after 10 minutes. Otherwise, it's still usable and durable.

Very satisfied
Our dog loved the toy right from the start. It seems sturdy thanks to the rope inside the toy. Luna is a Labrador and destroys everything in no time. I can’t say much about the durability yet. But the fox has survived the first 24 hours.

Super toy
No toy has ever lasted this long with us! Our two Akitas are incredibly strong and usually destroy every toy in no time or pull out all the stuffing, but that's not the case here at all. We're thrilled and will definitely be ordering the fox again.

Indestructible!
Has withstood wild tugging games for months! The first toy my dog hasn’t managed to destroy! Even washed it several times at 60 degrees in the washing machine… and the squeaker still works perfectly! It doesn’t get any better than this!

GSD loves it!
My GSD absolutely loves her one. Had it for a year, she’s torn it’s face off and killed the squeaker within a month but I did a repair job on it once and it’s back to being our favourite toy.

Great toy - sturdy!
Just bought it again for my uncle's puppy, as it's really popular with us and extremely durable. It easily withstands tug-of-war games between dogs.

Hmm, not suitable for my dog.
The Kong toy lasted 5 minutes longer than other toys, but it’s a nice size for medium-sized dogs.
Though I think that’s more down to my little shepherd.
We’ll stick with the Kong tennis balls – they last for weeks.

Favourite toy
My Jack Russell has had the little fox for over a year now and absolutely loves it. He cuddles with it, tosses it around, and eagerly bites its head to make it squeak. So far, it’s still holding up despite being used almost daily. It doesn’t shine as nicely anymore, but we don’t mind :)

Super tug toy!
I’m super happy with the toy.
I have two Border Collie Whippet mixes, and I’m very active in Flyball with them.
They absolutely love fetching the ball from the box and quickly bringing it back to me so we can have a good tug afterwards.
The toy is, of course, only used during Flyball to keep it as something special.
The only thing that bothers me is that it has a squeaker inside. I had to remove it because it’s not allowed in tournaments.

Kong Scrunch Knots Fox
My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel managed to destroy the fox today, 31/08/21. The toy didn’t even last three months, so I expected more from Kong. Good thing the fox was quite cheap here.

Doesn't deliver what it promises
The Kong was instantly loved by our little rascal. Very cute and adorable design. But unfortunately, it was already broken after just 2 days (chewed through, squeaker removed). We only have an 8-month-old miniature poodle... I’m very disappointed with the durability of a high-quality brand manufacturer that promises its products are more robust. Not recommended.

Loves it
My 17mth old tugger chewer absolutely loves this. Usually destroys toys within minutes. It’s been 2 days and no amputations to ears, head, tail etc... YET anyway. Only grumble is being offered it every few mins to play :)

Destroyed after 2 hours and therefore unusable.
I thought KONG would be more durable.
My 7-month-old mixed breed played and chewed for 2 hours, and poof – first the squeaker was bitten through, and then the insides came out... it's no longer safe and is now being thrown away!
I really expected more from it...

Didn't even last 2 days, even though it was only used for a few hours under supervision.
We got this Kong for our puppy when she moved in. She played with it for hours at a time with my children. Unfortunately, after just 1.5 days, the head came off and it had to be thrown away. Very disappointing.

Useless
Dog toys should really be made from sturdy material or at least labelled differently.
It didn’t last 5 minutes before it was chewed to pieces.

Not very robust
Unfortunately this toy didn’t last much more than an hour with my 7 month GSD. I had high hopes as she has a knots teddy toy that she’s had since we got her. However this one she managed to rip straight into the stitching and pull out the knotted rope inside (the fabric is very flimsy and not strong at all). She is still enjoying supervised play with the “carcass” hence the 1 star but not really fit for purpose.

Toy broken within 5 minutes
Within 5 minutes, the plush toy was in pieces all over the room. I have a 5-month-old dachshund.
Our Golden Retriever girl (6 months old) loves her fox – she plays with it all the time, pulls and tugs at it. After two months of heavy use, it still hasn’t got any damage. Seems sturdy. We’ve already bought a second one for visits to Grandma :)
Interesting as a toy and my Stafford can't manage to destroy it, I rarely review products, but so far this is the only toy that hasn't given up the ghost straight away.
My 3-month-old puppy loves it because it squeaks, stretches, and has knots. After a month, she slightly tore off the head, but I think it's very durable. The only thing that didn't match was the look of the toy (it's a bit lighter orange and the label didn't say KONG knots, just KONG). The important thing is that she likes it, I highly recommend it.
My dog is a one-year-old Labrador. I bought these toys for her. I gave her one yesterday morning and it didn’t even last 10 minutes. She tore the head off, completely destroyed the plush, and almost swallowed the little squeaker inside. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I actually think it should be removed from the catalogue or at least only recommended for very small dogs.
My dog was thrilled with the fox from the very beginning and carried it around everywhere. Then it disappeared, so I ordered a second one. Now she’s had the toy in double for 5 years and carries it through the garden every day (unless she’s managed to lose it again). Even tugging hasn’t done the fox in yet. Still, I’m going to buy another one as a backup...
I gave this toy to my 10-year-old German Shepherd who has worn-down teeth... always under my supervision, but I looked away for 2 minutes and he bit the tail clean off and swallowed it whole... I thought the toy was sturdy, now I’m dealing with a vet emergency.
One of our favourite toys. It lasted 10 months. Only after that time did we manage to pull the string out from the inside. The squeaker still works. Since our dog has grown in the meantime, this time I’ll order a bigger size :)
Cute fox, my dog quickly accepted it as a replacement for the teddy bear. It's better that it doesn't have any stuffing, but the rope inside is just as tempting. So first, holes were chewed into it, which I tried sewing up, but he just chewed them open again or made new ones elsewhere. After about a month, the entire rope was finally removed from it. So now, he actually has two toys :)
My puppy has been tugging and chewing on it all day, and even after a week the fox is still in one piece, even though he really doesn’t go easy on it :). Luckily, he rarely hits the squeaky part, so it’s the perfect quiet toy that keeps him entertained for ages.
I love Kong in general, we have a few things that are really sturdy. However, the fox only lasted 5 minutes. We've had this experience with all the fluffy toys from Kong so far, although we also have fluffy toys from other brands that hold up. We have an 8-month-old Continental Bulldog, maybe with smaller breeds it would last longer.
The smaller version (S/M) has been a favourite for my puppy since she got it at 4 months old. After a month of playing really hard with it – tugging, chewing and all sorts – there’s still not a scratch on the toy. It’s the perfect mix of a tough toy and one you can snuggle up with. Can’t recommend it enough.
The bigger version, though, broke after just 5 days.
My 4.5 month old puppy has had the smaller one for a month, and we were super happy with the quality – it’s her favourite. She’s grown so much that I decided to get the bigger one for her. It broke in 5 days – half of the head is torn at the seam and the end of the rope inside is now chewable. It’s definitely not the toy she’s roughest with or plays with the most.
