Yes, the fox doesn’t last any longer than other toys, but it’s our dog’s absolute favourite. From our drawer full of cuddly toys for her, she always pulls out all 4 foxes first before she might turn her attention to another toy. As soon as she’s worked on the fox enough for the rope inside to start showing, I cut the rope out because threads come loose that she might swallow (be careful!) and she still gets to enjoy the outer shell for a little while longer.

I bought the fox for my 10-week-old Parson Russell Terrier. He absolutely loves it. But the toy is now slowly falling apart... After 3 weeks, the squeaker is broken, the toy is shedding heavily and losing lots of very fine fibres. I just hope that, if ingested, these aren’t harmful to his health... Such a shame, I’m used to more durable products from Kong.

Great sturdy toy, absolutely loved, but unfortunately there was a squeaker in the head part that had to be removed after 10 minutes. Otherwise, it's still usable and durable.

The Kong toy lasted 5 minutes longer than other toys, but it’s a nice size for medium-sized dogs. Though I think that’s more down to my little shepherd. We’ll stick with the Kong tennis balls – they last for weeks.

Our Dalmatian puppy loves the fox. The squeaker doesn’t work anymore, and one of the seams has already come undone, but that’s just how it is. These things aren’t made to last forever.

Thought this would last like my other Kong bear, which lasted 5 months. However he destroyed it with in 2 days. But I feel now I have two toys lol. One the fur & the other is rope. The new Kong bear still alive lol

Compared to other toys, the fox has already lasted a few months; so far, only the ears have been chewed off. For me, it's a rather high-quality toy, and my dog loves it too :)

My female Dachshund-Terrier mix has so far destroyed everything that squeaked. I had ordered her a fox, which lasted a few months, but then it met its end too. I ordered her a second one, and IT'S STILL ALIVE. She carries it around everywhere. So far, it has been spared. But that doesn’t mean she won’t eventually finish it off. Personally, I think it’s great—it’s lasted the longest so far.

My border collie loves it but the toy got destroyed in 5 minutes. I thought KONG toy will survive a lot longer 😂

Absolutely very well suited for dogs that don’t show strong destructive tendencies! In principle, the Kong Fox is good and well thought out... I also think the rope inside is great, but unfortunately, our Aussie managed to expose it quite easily because the fabric is relatively soft and was therefore easily chewed through. The reason for this is presumably (which I actually think is a good thing) that, apart from the head, there’s no foam inside... but as I said, I think that’s a good feature.

At least the little fox survived the first day! Let’s see how long it lasts, considering the squeaker in its head.

Wanted a tough but soft toy for my gsd pup to play tug with. He was 8 weeks old and hardly interacted with it, certainly no tug games but within first week the head came off, not due to the pup but the shoddy loose stitching that was never meant to hold a toy together let alone eventually play tug games. I have restitched head on properly and now the toy is doing fine with daily tug games with pup npw 15 weeks old and having great fun. Pitty that Kong do not check the standard of workmanship!

Overall, I’m very happy with the toy. My dog loves it, but he managed to break it after a week. That’s not a big deal though, as the fox is only stuffed with a rope, so now we’ve got two toys – a rope and the fox itself :)

It withstands and withstands and withstands the Doberman teeth, survives shaking and tearing, gets carried around everywhere, has an ideal size, and the squeaker hasn’t been removed yet. Actually 5 stars, but unfortunately there’s no information on the label about washability. And after two weeks, the fox smells a bit oddly dog-like. Still, a clear purchase recommendation. Let’s see if it holds up to 30°C in the washing machine as well as it does to the Doberman.

Super cuddly material, great for tugging, but our Yorkie is bothered by the very firm rope inside, as after a good play session, he always likes to cuddle with his soft toys.

I bought the smaller fox for our 2.5 kg Chihuahua (currently teething). It looks absolutely adorable, is plushy, and is dearly loved. Unfortunately, the squeaker in the head didn’t work from the start, but our Jamie loves the fox more than anything and carries it everywhere. However, I found it annoying that there was a paper sticker on the fur, as I could barely get it off.
