Rubbish

I purchased this last week for my new fur grandbaby. I received it on the thursday. He played with it a little bit but by the Sunday he was no longer able to play with it as the head was ripped. Extremely disappointed

Destroyed in one day

After just a day, my pup managed to make a hole in it and remove one leg. I expected more from Kong 😕

Disappointed

Lasted all of 5 minutes with my border collie pup. As soon as he had it, he bit the ear off

Kong fox

Ripped 2 days cavapoo dont waste your money on these toys s

Best toy for Jack Russell ever

The rope feels like bones , and he loves “ killing it “ every day . And far better than balls for fetch toy . Comes back every time Because it’s made of fabric . He can smell it out and bring it to me . Lasts for ages

Oh no!

My 8 month old dachshund managed to completely destroy this in under 30 minutes including unravelling the rope, biting off the ears, tail and head to get the squeaker out! Complete waste of money.

One of the best toys we have had for our puppy

Our puppy currently destroys one toy a day teething. This toy has done really well, we have had it a couple of months and I haven't had to mend it once. It is one of our puppies favourites. Brilliant toy at a really great price.

Disappointing

Fox was much much smaller than expected plus did not seem to have any sound or scrunch effect at all 😟

My pup's favourite toy

I bought this toy for my 18 month old Lab/Lurcher cross and she's loved it from day one, she played tug with my staffy cross and surprisingly it didn't rip, well not then anyway, it did eventually though. Oddly enough they never bothered playing with the rope from inside of it,instead she plays with the 'skin', she takes it to bed with her every night,.and sucks it's ears like a dummy!! Well worth the money in my opinion

Foxy

My dog loves it although he has tried to chew an ear off.

Not a great “tug” toy.

I bought this for my 10 month old Doberman as a tug-toy and to help chewing aggression; within the first day the foxes head was completely off, the insides are durable and after some pulling and chewing, they remained intact and looked virtually untouched.

20 seconds

It was totally destroyed in 20 seconds but he squeezed it out later that day in my garden ( path)

Not lab puppy proof

I did think it being kong produce, it would be a lot stronger. Ps Puppy is 8 weeks lab.

Lasted less than 30 mins

Bought the large fox for my 7k dog and he destroyed it in half an hour. He took the squeaker out, shredded it and ripped Foxy’s throat out… shame as he really enjoyed the first and last 20 minutes of playing with him. A poor opponent for a teeny tiny dog.

sturdy

our dog just loves this, very well made

Squeak doesn't work

My rescue dog loves a toy that squeaks. This is supposed to but doesn't.

nice toy and well made

our new rescue really loves this, well made and good quality would recommend

Lasted about 1 hour

The positive was when my dog (springador) ripped through this, there was no messy stuffing everywhere. However it did only last about an hour.

Corgi proof

My 11 month old corgi usually destroys her toys within hours . This fox has survived well , has become her favourite .

GSD loves it!

My GSD absolutely loves her one. Had it for a year, she’s torn it’s face off and killed the squeaker within a month but I did a repair job on it once and it’s back to being our favourite toy.

Very sturdy

Our three-year-old Staffy loves the fox. He uses it for cuddling, but also really goes to town on it for emotional control—biting, tugging, and pulling. The squeak is fairly subtle, which I find veeeery pleasant :)

Toy broken within 5 minutes

Within 5 minutes, the plush toy was in pieces all over the room. I have a 5-month-old dachshund.

Favourite toy

Our Golden Retriever girl (6 months old) loves her fox – she plays with it all the time, pulls and tugs at it. After two months of heavy use, it still hasn’t got any damage. Seems sturdy. We’ve already bought a second one for visits to Grandma :)

My dog loves it

It's their favourite toy, maybe because it looks like prey with its fur and shape. They never stop playing with it.

Good

Unfortunately, it gave up the ghost after 7 months. My dogs loved it, at least it didn’t break after just 10 minutes.

Built to last

Interesting as a toy and my Stafford can't manage to destroy it, I rarely review products, but so far this is the only toy that hasn't given up the ghost straight away.

Super that it looks a bit different

My 3-month-old puppy loves it because it squeaks, stretches, and has knots. After a month, she slightly tore off the head, but I think it's very durable. The only thing that didn't match was the look of the toy (it's a bit lighter orange and the label didn't say KONG knots, just KONG). The main thing is she likes it, I highly recommend it.

Very disappointed with this toy

My dog is a one-year-old Labrador. I bought these toys for her. I gave her one yesterday morning and it didn’t even last 10 minutes. She tore the head off, completely destroyed the plush, and almost swallowed the little squeaker inside. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I actually think it should be removed from the catalogue or at least only recommended for very small dogs.

Favourite toy for 5 years!

My dog was thrilled with the fox from the very beginning and carried it around everywhere. Then it disappeared, so I ordered a second one. Now she’s had the toy in double for 5 years and carries it through the garden every day (unless she’s managed to lose it again). Even tugging hasn’t done the fox in yet. Still, I’m going to buy another one as a backup...

Dangerous

I gave this toy to my 10-year-old German Shepherd who has worn-down teeth... always under my supervision, but I looked away for 2 minutes and he bit the tail clean off and swallowed it whole... I thought the toy was sturdy, now I’m dealing with a vet emergency.

Fox

One of our favourite toys. It lasted 10 months. Only after that time did we manage to pull the string out from the inside. The squeaker still works. Since our dog has grown in the meantime, this time I’ll order a bigger size :)

Good, but not very durable

Cute fox, my dog quickly accepted it as a replacement for the teddy bear. It's better that it doesn't have any stuffing, but the rope inside is just as tempting. So first, holes were chewed into it, which I tried sewing up, but he just chewed them open again or made new ones elsewhere. After about a month, the entire rope was finally removed from it. So now, he actually has two toys :)

Favourite game :)

My puppy has been tugging and chewing on it all day, and even after a week the fox is still in one piece, even though he really doesn’t go easy on it :). Luckily, he rarely hits the squeaky part, so it’s the perfect quiet toy that keeps him entertained for ages.

broken after 5 minutes

I love Kong in general, we have a few things that are really sturdy. However, the fox only lasted 5 minutes. We've had this experience with all the fluffy toys from Kong so far, although we also have fluffy toys from other brands that hold up. We have an 8-month-old Continental Bulldog, maybe with smaller breeds it would last longer.

Lasting and versatile

The smaller version (S/M) has been a favourite for my puppy since she got it at 4 months old. After a month of playing really hard with it – tugging, chewing and all sorts – there’s still not a scratch on the toy. It’s the perfect mix of a tough toy and one you can snuggle up with. Can’t recommend it enough. The bigger version, though, broke after just 5 days.
