Our now elderly shepherd mix got the kennel as a Christmas present ;-) and everyone was sceptical whether he could still get used to such a kennel in his "old age". Since we moved, he loves his garden and doesn't want to come into the house anymore, so with the cold weather, a kennel was a must. We also bought the matching insulation for the kennel, a "hygienic dog bed" fit perfectly inside, added a sheepskin as padding, and installed the plastic door – voilà, the perfect kennel! Our dog seems to agree, as every evening when he’s supposed to come inside, he turns into a "whiner" because he wants to go back out to his kennel. Today there was a snowstorm during the day, and he absolutely refused to stay in the house – he insisted on being out in his kennel. ... so we’re a bit jealous of his kennel, and the Christmas present was totally worth it!!! :-))))

Super-fast delivery. Very easy assembly of the hut, which is sturdy and stands firmly on the ground thanks to the adjustable feet. We got the hut in XL as a playhouse for our Labrador puppies; size L would probably be sufficient for an adult Labrador Retriever. Great value for money!

We bought the doghouse in size L for our nearly 30-kilo Hovawart mix and chose the right size. She can turn around comfortably inside the house. Yet, it’s still nice and cosy when she’s lying in it. The doghouse is easy to assemble and pleasantly sturdy. Excellent value for money and super-fast delivery.

I bought the dog kennel on special offer, absolutely unbeatable in terms of price/performance ratio! Super easy to assemble, I chose size XL for my German Shepherd, though L probably would have worked too. Very good and highly recommended without hesitation!!

We simply converted this dog house into a cat house for our two outdoor cats, and it was immediately accepted! Perfect for taking a siesta between their adventures, relaxing in the shade on hot summer days, staying protected during rain, or keeping warm when the wind blows fiercely around the house. This fantastic house is truly top-notch! Delivered super quickly, easy to assemble, set it up, and you're done! Our house has been in the garden for a year now, still looks great, and the wood is in excellent condition (see photos)! That's why 5 stars! A truly convincing product! ABSOLUTELY THRILLED!!!! In just 2 days, the doghouse I ordered arrived, and it was delivered from Germany to Austria FREE OF CHARGE – I’ve never experienced that with any company before, and I really do order a lot. With GLS, I could track the shipment using the parcel number provided by zooplus.de along with a LINK sent via email, and I could see exactly where the package was at any given time. I call that excellent service! After repainting the doghouse (since our house is blue and white, it obviously had to match), it was assembled in no time – honestly, it was SUPER EASY. The price amazed me, because unfortunately, prices here in Austria are almost double, and with three dogs, you end up spending quite a bit. I will definitely recommend zooplus.de to my friends and acquaintances, as I know many pet owners. Of course, I’ll be ordering other items soon, as I also have budgies and cockatiels. Received the Spike Comfort dog kennel yesterday. The kennel was set up in just fifteen minutes and looks fantastic. The material is absolutely top-notch and very well made. Now I just hope our English Bulldog will take to it. I'd say 5 stars plus.

I ordered size XL, which is sufficient for a medium-sized dog. The dog house was super easy to assemble! It looks good, and my dog feels comfortable.

i too was a little put off by other reviews stating the item had been damaged on receipt. however mine came in perfect condition and was so easy to assemble. i bought it for an old cat of mine that lives most of his life outside and he loves it. if you get the item in good condition then you will be delighted with it.

Great kennel at an excellent price. Was dubious if to order one after reading reviews regarding kennels that had been delivered damaged but mine was packaged well and no damage. Easy to assemble with clear instructions - took about 20 mins. Arrived ssoner than I expected in the recent bad weather as well. My two border terriers love it!

Arrived in good time. Mine was well packaged with very clear instructions for assembly. Unlike other flat-packs, all the parts lined up and fixings were labelled up, making construction a breeze. Only problem with assembly was my cat trying to get in before I had finished. It looks lovely in the garden....great quality. Only the cat loves it more than I do!!

The delivery was speedy but (like others) mine arrived with a cracked and split roof ridge cap (the bit that sits on top of the roof to keep the rain off). The replacement also arrived promptly but this was damaged worse than the first. Because I really like the look of (and was desperate for) the kennel and because it is for outdoors I accepted a partial refund to help toward the cost of me fixing the cracks to waterproof it. Buyer beware
