After much deliberation, I finally decided to go for the Furminator. I was hoping it would significantly reduce the shedding of my dog, a Eurasier. Additionally, many friends have already had good experiences with the Furminator. It does indeed remove an astonishingly large amount of undercoat. However, the device pulls on the fur while combing, which can be uncomfortable for the dog at times. Dogs that aren’t too sensitive to this can certainly be groomed with it without any issues. I plan to gradually get my dog used to being groomed with the Furminator over the coming weeks.
