This grooming tool has a mixed reception. Some users are amazed by its effectiveness in removing fur, praising its ability to lighten coats and help with shedding. However, others warn about its sharpness and potential to damage the coat or cause injuries if not used carefully. It's not suitable for all fur types, especially long-haired pets. Overall, while it works well for some, caution and proper handling are crucial.
Effectively removes fur and undercoat.
Helps lighten the coat and make it more comfortable for pets in warm weather.
Highly recommended by users for its efficiency compared to other brushes.
Sharp prongs can cause injury if not used carefully.
Not suitable for all fur types, particularly long-haired pets.

The grooming rake removes an incredible amount of fur from the coat.
If you've never used one of these before, it takes a bit of getting used to during the first application, as you can easily hurt the dog if you use the rake incorrectly. A short pictorial guide on the cardboard tag would be desirable in this regard – otherwise, it's great!
Unfortunately, our dog doesn't like being brushed, but the cat handles it well.

Even suitable for cats
Tried a lot and had a lot. Ordered this time based on a recommendation, and well, at this price you can't go wrong. As soon as it arrived, 2 out of 3 cats had to try it out. Easy to use and definitely worth it. I'm impressed and I'm sure this will also be used for animal rescue fosterlings.

Very good for dense fur
It depends on the coat. For my white shepherd (dense long stock coat), there’s nothing better! With regular combs and brushes (including the Furminator), I can’t even get into the dense undercoat. Works great for my cats too. For my black shepherd (thin stock coat, hardly any undercoat), the Furminator is actually better.

So much hair...
The grooming brush removes an incredible amount of hair, especially undercoat, from the fur. I had no idea my dog had soooo much hair ;-)
The workmanship of the brush isn’t quite as nice, and I hope it really lasts a long time.

German Shepherds are content.
My two short-haired German Shepherds not only shed endlessly, but they’re also quite sensitive. While I can’t say that the universal grooming tool removes significantly more fur than other good undercoat combs, what really stands out positively is that the dogs tolerate the brushing much better. Instead of squeaking and yelping, they now happily roll onto their backs.

Very good
Even though the brush didn’t get *that* much out of our Terrier mix, the purchase was definitely worth it. The fur has become really, really soft. Plus, it’s very easy to use.
Delivery was super quick :)

Great piece
For normal stock hair, the blades could be a bit closer together; probably more effective for long stock hair. Otherwise, very good.
Also great during coat change for hardy horses!
