Great if your dog pulls you but terrible if you need to pull him!
I was very impressed with this harness until I tried to get my 45kilo Rottweiler our the back seat of car. He just sits there and won’t budge so I went to pull him with the handle on the harness... came off straight over his head. Absolutely rubbish if you have to pull your dog and a definite design floor

Waste of money
Bought the harness today and my 8 month pup was fine for the first short walk .. took him out again later and he’s back to pulling again .. waste of time and money if you have a dog that pulls. Can’t control the Dogs head and lead him away from the front. If he pulls sideways the whole harness slips to the side. I’m sick of wasting money on these damn things that are supposed to be anti pull. I’ve had harnesses and they make him pull more !! A halti seems to be better but fit is poor !!

Slipped out easily
Ill fitting seems stiff and does not fit snugly , and horror of horrors she slipped out of the harness on our second walk, she just backed up and was standing there with no harness or lead on a busy road, luckily she was as shocked as I and did not move, so manged to get her back in, but not impressed she has had a harnesses before and never has this happened . Total wast of money

Does not control pulling
Looks great however this was recommended to me by many people to control my dogs pulling. Unfortunately it does not do this.

Can escape!
I purchased this last week for my Beagle puppy. It's very sturdy and well made BUT she has escaped out of it twice! No way would I have ordered one if I thought this was possible. I think the underbelly strap works loose meaning the harness is able to move forward to slacken the front strap. Now on the look out for one with the strap that goes between the front legs.

Not safe
This harness is sturdy and strong. It also looks good and SEEMS to fit well. However, my dog is very excitable, especially around people and dogs, and somehow manages to slip her front leg out. We cannot work out how it happens but it has - twice. We are now too frightened to use it so it has been a waste of money for us. If you have a calmer dog I'm sure it would be fine.

sadly disappointed
This harness looks good and the reviews are so positive but my dog is on the cusp between two sizes. Julius K9 customer support were frustratingly slow to reply to email enquiries and not very helpful.
I was impressed with it when it arrived, a little irritated by the rattling sound that the dog lead clip makes as it bangs against the harness back.
Unfortunately, after a few walks I noticed a nasty sore at the back of my dog's leg and realised that the buckle is catching her there :(

wouldn't recommend for small dogs
All three of my jrt's have a julius harness and each one has managed to either slip out, wriggle out, get the chest strap stuck between their front legs or hit their elbows on the plastic clip on the chest strap making them rather sore. I've been using them for over a year and after buying different sizes and making multiple adjustments I have given up and gone back to using the zooplus harnesses instead. Maybe it's because my terriers are short legged and long backed that this harness doesn't suit.
