The Innova Dog Comfort® (IDC) products from JULIUS-K9® stand for quality, safety and modern design. The power harness is characterised in particular by its perfect ergonomic fit: it rests on the ribcage and distributes the load both gently and evenly across the sternum.
The inner lining of the robust harness is made from a breathable and skin-friendly material that is also OEKO-TEX®-certified. The product offers an ideal fit thanks to the infinitely adjustable chest and waist straps. The unbreakable fixation buckle has been crash-tested and is particularly stable. The product is equipped with either a metal ring or a plastic ring, which does not affect the quality of the product.

Wish I’d bought it earlier!
Bought this for my big lab/collie cross after breaking my wrist. It’s an absolute Godsend. A friend fitted it for me, but after that I could just slip it over his head, secure the strap under his chest and snap the plastic buckle/clasp closed all with left hand! My only struggle was that the clasp is very stiff so he had to stand patiently while I had a few goes! He took to it straight away. No more barking when he sees the harness! Great in the car too with his seat belt. We love it!

It sure if I’m missing something?
People on forums have raved about these harnesses so I thought it was worth a shot. I have a 7.1kg border terrier who pulls so this seemed ideal but it’s just not. The fastening across her chest is Velcro and with enough pulling it gives way and she running free. I’m at the point now of adding stitches to fix it in place as chasing her down is making walks a nightmare. I leave the Velcro done up and take the harness on and off just using the clip, so can’t understand why it’s so weak.
Be prepared to modify to prevent dog slipping out backwards
We had seen reports of dogs backing out of Julian harnesses. We therefore spent a lot of time adjusting fit, according to instructions, and it looked secure. After 3 weeks use without problems, our dog backed out of the harness whilst crossing a busy road. Fortunately she came straight to me. I now use with a karabiner attaching harness to collar to prevent this. Well made harness but be prepared to modify either by connecting the harness to the collar or by adding a strap between front legs.

Great harness
So my staffy bitch is a really bad puller and this harness is much much better and safer for her although she is alot easier to walk but I must add this has not helped stop the pulling but has made it safer for my dog and easier on my arm

Brilliant
Great harness for my staffy who pulls a lot on the lead, she loves it and I find it helps a lot to stop the yanking on my arm, also great to clip the poo bag holder onto and the reflective strips are a comfort that she can be seen ok on dark night walks
