The carrier bag is praised for its spaciousness and lightweight design, making it ideal for transporting cats and small dogs. While many find it durable and robust, some users report issues with the mesh windows being easily torn open by cats, especially as they grow. Despite this, many appreciate its value for money and ease of storage, with some recommending it for smaller pets or kittens.

Mesh windows can be torn open by cats.

Mixed feelings
I’ve bought this bag twice already: it’s nice and spacious, even my chunky cat (almost 7kg) fits in perfectly without being squashed. It’s very lightweight, making it easy to carry, the price is great, and it’s easy to store.
So why am I only giving it 3 stars?
The big downside of this bag is that the mesh windows can be torn open by cats. Now that this has happened for the second time, I won’t be buying it again.

Shopping bag
Overall, not a bad product, but unfortunately my tomcat scratched quite heavily inside the transport bag and often got his claws caught in the fabric mesh.
Additionally, the bag cannot be fully closed at the top with a zip but instead has a small piece of Velcro, which isn’t much of a barrier for an animal that wants to escape.

Too small
What I can't understand is why this bag is described as large and unwieldy: Quite the opposite! For my cat, the bag is actually too small; he can't stand inside it because 30cm in height is simply not enough for a long-legged 5kg cat. This cramped space causes unnecessary stress, not to mention that if the animal isn't particularly cooperative, you can't get it inside from the top at all—you'd have to push the animal down with one hand while trying to close the bag with the other.
Since the bag is also advertised for dogs: I can't imagine anything other than a Chihuahua fitting inside. My petite, standard-sized dachshund, who is currently visiting, just about fits, but it's not comfortable and unsuitable for longer transport.

Sporty Tote Bag
We've had our carrier bag for about a month now. So far, we've already used it once to go to the vet. The bag can be opened from the top and the side, which is very practical! It also looks very stylish! Another great feature is that there's a compartment on the side of the bag where you can store the vaccination record and treats. The only downside: the bag is far too big and unwieldy for my two tomcats! But for the few times a year we go to the vet, it works. We also set the bag up in the flat as a sleeping spot, which the cats absolutely love!

Broke too quickly
Initially okay. After several attempts to wear it, the net tore. Such a shame! I ended up using it only as a toy collection station.

Well, alright.
The bag is actually great, especially since you can store it away to save space.
But unfortunately, I have to agree with the previous reviewers – I've used the bag 8 times now, and already the side rods have pushed through the material at the top. Very annoying; the manufacturer really should add metal reinforcements in those corners.

Side poles
If the side rods didn’t stick out after using it a few times, I would definitely have given this product more points. Otherwise, the carry bag is really great, as it’s easy to carry.

Not suitable for dogs that like to chew
The bag was very useful during our holiday with our puppy and was immediately accepted. However, the zips are made of plastic and break instantly with the slightest bite, meaning I can no longer close the bag. I would have preferred metal zips and would gladly have paid a few extra euros for them. The latch isn’t quite well thought out either, as it gives way under the pressure of a reasonably strong animal. A more secure solution is needed here as well.

Unfortunately, broke quickly.
The bag is actually very good for transporting my two little furballs. However, after just under 3 months, the inner sides of the bag are damaged, and the side rods are coming out. I've only used it once for travelling and twice for trips to the vet. My furballs together weigh just 5 kilos. The manufacturer really needs to revisit and improve the product.

Metal braces, sagging
The metal rods not only poke through on the opening side but now also on the side with the side pocket. Surely it must be possible to equip the rods with a rounded head that doesn’t jab.
Another drawback is the sagging top part. Stronger material wouldn’t reduce the space for the cat and should still be able to bend without breaking.
Otherwise, a brilliant idea!

Where are the press studs?
So far, I haven't found any solution. I just hope we can finally get our (wild) tomcat into it at all. Ever since we tried, first with the "Beauty" box, then with this bag... now he barely dares to come into the house anymore (well, maybe tonight, when it's quiet again at my place), even though he hasn't even been to the vet yet. If we try again tomorrow, he'll be even more scared and sceptical than he already is. :-(
He was apparently wild before and has only been to the vet once with a cat trap. But for about 2 years now, he's been living properly – that is, with the door closed, without feeling uncomfortable or wanting to go outside – in the house. So, he's really not that wild anymore. Since we haven't been able to catch him yet, the other tomcat had to "step in" and go to the vet instead.
But he goes without any bag or box anyway! ;-)
And he even understands when unpleasant things are said about him ;-) and then behaves accordingly... (offended). :-P
Regarding the post from 21.12.2003:
There used to be a sturdier version at Pussy Versand for about 53 euros.

Unfortunately, poor workmanship.
I used this bag (though the neoprene version) in March for a trip to the USA, meaning that some airlines accept it for cabin transport (not all due to its dimensions!!!). Overall, I was satisfied with the bag, my Havanese felt very comfortable in it, and there were no major issues. However, I also experienced the top metal rods poking through, so I had to temporarily fix the spots with adhesive tape on the return flight. If the bag were just a bit better made, I’d happily give it five stars, but unfortunately, it’s only three.

Good concept / material not
Since both my tomcats now weigh over 5 kilos and I have to take the bus to the vet, my arm would break if I had to lug them around in a regular kennel. At first, I thought the bag was great.
I solved the issue with the easily opened zip by hooking the leather tab between the zips into the carabiner of the shoulder strap (as already described below). I noticed this pretty quickly, and there’s hardly a more terrifying thought than one of my cats loose in Berlin’s city traffic.
I still leash both of them, though, and let them either sit on my lap or at least peek out of the bag on the bus, because otherwise, they scream for help so loudly that it’s unbearable.
Unfortunately, after using it four times, the metal rods have already come through, and I’ve decided to sew myself a chest backpack for vet visits. That seems like the most sensible option for my two scaredy-cats, as they’ll have body contact with "mum" and can look out from the top. For longer trips, I still have a kennel.

Cat Carrier Bag
A clever cat can manage to open the zip after some time. There should not only be a lock for the flap entry but also a lock for the zips. That's why only 3 stars. The bag itself is lightweight, and the view for the animal inside is good.
