The sisal material is nice and the board are easily mounted to the wall surface. Unfortunately on two occaisions the boards arrived damaged as a result of poor packaging by Zooplus. No corner protection, no paper packagine and overly large boxed used. Not first time I've had items damaged by poor packaging. Zooplus sort it! The board material is very thin and easily broken. I might have to reinforce with some thin board of my own behind it.

Board looks ok, but this kind of rope is a no no for my cat. Never give it a scratch.

I’ve bought my cat several scratching boards which he uses for a while then stops. This is by far his favourite and he completely stopped scratching the sofa when I put this next to the sofa with a little bit of catnip. Now he loves it even without catnip. If I am to order a new scratching board, I’ll probably get this one again. Very sturdy and just perfect for any cat of any size. My cat is a big ragdoll.

I bought this for my kitten. The actual scratching board is stapled onto the wood. A pair of staples was already off when it arrived but I thought nothing of it. I attached the scratcher onto the wall, and from my kitten’s first use a further 2 staples came off, making it very unsafe as it became very wobbly. I wouldn’t recommend, ESPECIALLY for adult cats who would be heavier, as this happened with my small kitten, so I cant imagine what would happen to a full grown cat.

Great product. Very sturdy, cat went to it straight away. She scratches it, sits on it and even sleeps on it from time to time. Comes with a little baggie of catnip which is very useful

Bought one of these plus a few other products for my two cats after recently moving into a rented property and fearing for the carpets after in my last property my two cats have ruined some carpets over time from scratching, this has been amazing I placed it in one of the areas in a doorway where they started to scratch the carpet and it’s worked wonders , I have gone to order some more but unfortunately they are out of stock at the moment .

LOVE THIS. It's big enough that my cats can stretch themselves up to scratch it, and doesn't leave any shavings/fabric on the floor, unlike other scratching posts that I have. I love that it's attached to the wall so it doesn't take up space. We rent our flat so couldn't drill a hole, but I used 4x heavy duty command strips (one per corner) to stick it to the wall safely and it doesn't budge, even if my cat puts her weight behind her scratches! Would definitely recommend this method :)

My girls love these and i do too. I have 2 protuding corners in my bedroom which the kitties loved to scratch. I was forever fixing the wall paper. i have put 2 boards on each corner and the ladies love them for their scratch gymnastics! I can take them off the wall when they are done and replace. I'll even be painting the hardboard the same colour as my wall leaving only the sisal visable!

SO much better than free standing posts. She can really put her back into it. So delighted to have discovered it.

Our cat has ignored every scratching post we’ve provided since adopting him a year ago. He doesn’t like rounded posts or rope style; instead favours flat & course things like the side of our sofa or lounge rug. I used strong double sided tape to attach this to the floor (rather than nailing into the wall), after 2/3 days he discovered it and now automatically runs to scratch this over anything else in the house. A true miracle after a year of worrying about spoilt furniture!!

I can't recall when I bought the board I have now, It is so long ago. I have it on the wall and Tilley runs to it like an old friend. I would like to suggest that the hard board be extended a couple of inches on each side as she tends to go 'outside the box' as it were. Fortunately I inherited the embossed wallpaper from the previous owner of the flat and have started to see the wall underneath, but this is after 2-3 years as far as I can remember. Yes, it is very good!

My 3 cats all use this and I am about to replace it as they've finally ripped all the sisal off. But its lasted a year so I am very pleased with it. Doesn't stop them scratching the furniture of corder - they just use both!

By far the best scratch post I’ve bought for our cat, she uses it every day and it hasn’t fallen apart like every other one.

Unfortunately the scratch pad broke away from the cardboard backing immediately. On examination the staples were not properly applied so had just come away rather than holding the two parts together. Waste of money.

Great idea, and good value for money.

My cats are soooo happy! I purchased 4 of these and put them on the corner of a wall in my kitchen ( they like this corner!) Well within seconds of me finishing drilling and putting them up they were up the top!!! What great boards, and they'll certainly last longer than the one I had up before!! Look at my photos " Crazy Cats " they are happy!!

The board is built very well and comes with a little sachet of cat nip which is great! I attached it to the wall in the living room and was disappointed that my cat wouldn't go near it, but after reading that cats like a scratch after a nap, I took it down and lay it on the floor near his cat bed. He IMMEDIATELY went over to it and started scratching and rolling on it! So there you go :) I think he'll continue to enjoy it.

I bought this scratch pad for my cats 2 years ago.I screwed it to the kitchen wall. It is very good and the cats love it. It is good quality and still looks like new.

My kitten started scratching the furniture. But when i got this she quickly decided that she loved it. 1 year on and she still using this everyday. Its still going strong with minimal fraying.

Been looking for a replacement scratching board for sometime that wasn't made of useless cardboard but could also stand up to the use of two cats. Also purchased scratching mat (reviewed separately) but this is a far superior item. Highly recommend.
