We have loads of scratchers and trees but have onl recently tried the cardboard type and our Raggie loves them so added this to our rood order to give it a go seeing as it was on offer. At this price i wasn't expecting much but was so glad we gave it a go. TWICE as big as expected and super sturdy (important for a chunky Ragdoll) and excellent quality! Will be buying more whether it's on offer or not! given the kitty stamp of approval!! You won't be disappointed!

my cats refused to ever go near, never mind use any upright/sisal scratchposts (tried various ones, in various places, with various added "enticements")- this they LOVE . and yep, also to hang out on or play fight with. yes, it leaves bits of cardboard all around but nothing a quick hoover or brush cant solve- unlike the bits of plastic filament that stick up on scratched carpet.

I have two boys, one of them loves these, he has scratched a hole all the way through. He curls up to sleep on them too. Highly recommended.

We have 5 cats, all of whom love this product. They have lasted well, especially considering 4 of the cats are large Maine Coons and they really tear into them. They've lasted almost a year and to be fair would be ok for a bit longer, but I'm starting to get bits of cardboard traveling around the house. I think they are very good value for money and probably the best thing I've ever bought my cats.

I only received this a few days ago but my cat is already attached to it , he even uses it as a bed. It has worn down a little but Nibbler seems to love it and I would really recommend buying this product.

Only got this the other day but my kittens love it and it's already saved one of my wicker baskets from total destruction. They like sleeping on it, trying to roll around with it, biting it and of course scratching it. Great.

I cannot fault this product. Have had it for a couple of months now, and even though it's used daily it still looks new. Much more durable than I expected for something made of cardboard. When it's not scratched upon, it is slept on, doubling as a bed. When it breaks I will get a new one.

Our 3 cats all love this - for both scratching and lying on. I bought one in the past and now have bought 2 more for other rooms.

This is fantastic, my kitten loves it and uses it to scratch, rub himself and lay on it, worth every penny, I will be buying more of them is near future!!

Fantastic product. loads cheaper than replacement of doorframes. my cats fight over Wich way up it will go as one likes it upside down as a bed and one likes it correct as a wave so it's fun to scratch and poke football's underneath. Really quite sturdy and strong was somewhat suprising as it's so cheap.

My kitten loves this! He lays on it, scratches it & rubs his head on it. Its is a great price considering it seems it will last a while, and has a nice design too. Definitely recommend!

my new rescue cat ignored the vertical scratching posts all over the house and instead preferred my carpets. i ordered two of these and after a bit of encouragement my carpets are saved and he is happily using them to scratch on. the price is excellent and they are wearing well. i knocked off one star because one of the pads is warped and wobbles in a seesaw motion when it's the right way up, however it is perfectly stable when upside down and just as functional. i would definitely recommend this product to anyone whose carpets are the brunt of scratchy little claws.

such a simple idea and my cats love using them to claw and then sit on them to watch out the window (totally ignoring their cat tree!!)

We now have two of these as Trixie loved the first one so much (there's a photo of her in the gallery, having a rest on top of it). The first thing she does in the morning is go to have a scratch on this, which is better than the bedroom carpet! And when I get home from work, I often find her asleep on top of them, the shape is perfect for her, especially as both of them are next to each other. As other reviews have said though, all the shredded bits of cardboard do get a bit messy and every time I vacum I have to hoover all around them and the tops of the scratching pads too. But the mess is worth it for a very happy kitty :)

As someone else said it does shred a lot at the start. But don't give up - the cats love it. Both for scratching and also sitting on. Great purchase.

My cat adores hers and completely ignores the expensive one I got which is big and ugly. Going to get some back ups just in case.

The best scratcher ever bought; our cat LOVES it! He runs into the room, scratches this and then lies down using the board as a pillow. Hope this never gets discontinued as it would be a very sad day in our cat's life.

I bought 4 of these for my 4 (at that time) cats. One has since moved to a new home, but took his with him! The other 3 love their wave scratch pads and I am about to replace these! They very rarely try to scratch furniture since I got them so have no hesitation in recommending them. When done they can go in recycling too!

This is probably the best thing I have ever bought my cat Alice, if she is not sharpening her claws, she is asleep on it, brilliant design
