Best hypoallergenic food
Perfect for my cat’s sensitive digestion
Helped with chin acne
Bought this as my cat was suffering from chin acne. It took a little while but over time his acne has reduced considerably and has almost gone.
Great food for sensitive kitties
This food has been an absolute lifesaver. I can’t even begin to describe the level of stress I was under before putting my boy on this diet. Literally everything else, including other hydrolysed diets, caused him to have bloody diarrhoea. My only wish is that Royal Canin would make a wet version of this food, just like they do for dogs!

Only food that works
This is literally the only food that works for my cat who suffers from GI issues (frequent loose stools & fresh blood on any other food)
We have tried other hypoallergenic/hydrolysed diets, novel proteins, fresh food etc. this is the only food that’s consistently worked for him. His sister, who has no health issues, also loves eating this dry food.

The allergy-prone kitty likes it.
After my cat developed a sudden food intolerance and was plagued by itching and scratching, this food has finally brought peace back. She loves eating it and tolerates it exceptionally well. Admittedly, it's a bit more expensive, but it serves its purpose perfectly, and that's what matters most.

Great food for allergy sufferers
This is the only dry food/food overall that our cat can tolerate without getting a rash or anything like that. Unfortunately, that's not the case with the wet food...

Our cats' favourite food
Our cats' favourite dry food – and according to the vet, it's healthy too.

Very good feed
I’ve tried so many different types of food, but none of them come close to this one. My two furry friends eat it without hesitation, and the bowl is always empty. Sure, it’s relatively expensive in comparison, but it’s well received, their coats are shiny, and their overall health is more than satisfactory.

Solved our problems
My cat has a food intolerance and used to vomit very often. After switching to this food, she no longer has any symptoms and eats it very happily. I’m more than satisfied!

Super food
My two tigers take to it very well. I tried another food for a while, but I've gone back to Royal Canin.

Amazing food
My cat in her senior yrs (10) started to suffer loose & smelly stools, and was over grooming to point of patches of baldness. Then she started the scratching which cause huge open sores.Thought was stress at first & worked on that but upon vets suggestion moved to a hypoallergenic diet so tried royal canin’s version. improvement was rapid and dramatic. My cat looks like her old self again. Glossy thick coat and & no stratching. I feed nothing else & she loves it.

12 weeks = no more scratching
This food may well have saved my foster-cat's life. She has really stabilised on it. Not only is she no longer scratching (after 12 weeks on this food only) but her occasional bouts of diarrhoea have cleared up too. Now, if we can stop her licking - we will be able to rehome her!
Please note, she has had NO other food but this. no treats, no human food - nothing.

small pellets
My allergy-prone pet tolerates the food so-so. Smaller amounts are fine, but larger ones aren't. However, tolerance is, of course, individual and therefore not decisive for the review.
I really like the small pellets. This makes the food perfect for clicker training and saves me the hassle of cutting up treats that are far too big.

Smells awful but the cat likes it!
Our British Shorthair, Trixie was having severe vomiting and diarrhoea and the vet recommended this to treat IBD. She’s been eating this for two weeks and has had zero instances of gastric distress. I was worried that Trixie would not touch it because it smells so grim but she took to it straight away - much to our amazement. Great results so far, fingers crossed that this will sort out her tummy problems.

Highly recommended!
I’ve tried all the common hydrolysed brands – some my cat won’t touch at all, others she eats but still scratches herself raw. This variety is well tolerated and eaten gladly, so I can only give my recommendation. Plus, you usually only get this food from the vet, which makes it even more recommendable, as Zooplus has always delivered lightning-fast so far.

Very good food
My tomcat had severe diarrhoea, and our vet recommended this dry food to us. Within two days, my cat was like a different animal. No more diarrhoea, he became a bit more agile again and stopped vomiting as well. We've been using it permanently for a year now and are very grateful that this food exists.

It works.
Part 2 of my review.
I'm glad that Zooplus has this food in its range, so I don't have to drive to the vet every time to get it!! My tomcat is on medication, but I still feel that this food does him good and improves his allergy symptoms. A pet like this can't even remotely be compared to healthy cats, and even the best feeding advice doesn't help much in such cases. You're just grateful for every small step towards relief.

It's better than expected.
I have a highly allergic tomcat, with whom we've been through a long medical history and numerous vet visits.
This food was recommended to me "at the end of the line" by my vet, when pretty much everything else failed to provide relief. At first, I was very sceptical about the ingredients, but after looking into it more closely, I decided to try the hydrolysed food. The tomcat tolerates it very well.
He enjoys eating it. And I have the feeling that it’s helping him.

Helps a lot with allergies
My cat has never liked fresh meat or (high-quality) wet food, even as a kitten. About three years ago, she started getting pustules on her head and back that would burst. Eventually, she was only vomiting. I then switched her to this food. You do need to have a bit of patience! Things improved quickly, but it’s only now, in the second spring after switching her food, that she no longer has any pustules.
