After 3 months on Hills Light Chicken diet, my two have lost a small amount of weight, and they certainly enjoy the taste. However I haven't seen any change in their hunger levels - with the product claiming to satiate levels more than a regular food, I'd hoped to see some difference. The main reason I'm taking the two of them off it is what they are leaving me in the litterbox. I understand with a higher fibre content they will have bigger motions, but by god the smell from them is unreal! They were never especially smelly cats on Science Plan Optimal Care, so we've been really taken aback by it! The most frustrating thing about the droppings now is that they produce tiny fragments of poo every time which are too small to be caught by the litter scoop - so you either spend forever picking the bits out individually, or leave them and have to replace the litter more frequently. Never a problem before. Not happy :(

I bought these kibbles to help my female dog lose weight, but she always goes for the male’s food. And if I only put these kibbles out, sometimes she won’t touch them. If I add a bit of water to moisten the kibbles, she’s more willing to eat them. My male dog eats them happily. But since they were meant for my female, next time I’ll try different ones, maybe in a smaller pack to start with.
